I want to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. I don't want to get it professionally done, I want to do it myself. What should I try to remove it (I don't want to use a razor).
You can try electrolisis, but that has to be done professionally. A more cost effective way to remove unwanted hair and not have it grow in darker is to try a depilatory for facial hair. It's pain free and lasts a week or two. Or as a last resort you could always pluck.

I get migranes all the time! Does anybody know what may be causing it? I dont know much about migranes. My mom and I get them all the time! I usually take advil or asprin, or something. Do you get migranes? What works well for you?
You should probably get an allergy test done. But in the meantime you and your mom might want to try adding a vitamin supplement of B-complex or B-2, anything that has riboflavin in it. When headaches strike take a headache medicine like Excederin for migraines or if you talk to your doctor about it he/she can put you on Imitrex, which is specifically for migraines. Also, when affected there are serveral other things you can try like lower your lights, I tend to have light sesitivity when I have a migraine; a hot damp rag on the forehead or back of the neck; hot chamomile tea, since it's a pain reliever as well and very calming.

ok, well, i was babysitting the other night for these people and they were each going off to do their own thing. well, the mom left first, and the dad was supposedly leaving pretty quickly after, but instead he hung around for awhile. i was like, ok, um..why am i here if youre gonna sit around? well, i soon found out. he wasnt going anywhere. he put his kids in thier bedroom while i was cleaning something up, and he came up behind me and started grabbing me. he told me that if i yelled, hed kill me. well, i punched him where the sun dont shine and he let me go, but im sure that if i hadnt got away, he would have attacked me. but now i dont know what to do. he didnt rape me or anything, so should i really tell someone about it? all he did was grab me. they cant put you in jail for that, can they? im just wondering what i need to do about him....im supposed to go babysit again next week, and i cant exactly tell her why i dont wanna do it..so...HELP PLEASE
Yes, you need to tell someone about it. And you shouldn't babysit for them again. It's still considered Sexual Assault. Tell your parents at least and then you as a family can make a decision whether to involve the authorities/police.

It's junk/spam e-mails. Spammers use random words at the bottom of their e-mails to get past spam detection programs and software. This particular e-mail wants you to buy software (illegal software at that) at discounted prices. It also appears that the message was written in HTML (Hyper-text markup language) which is used in webpages. Either it's coded wrong or your "other half" has HTML turned off in his mail reading program.
This is nothing I would be concerned about. Everyone gets spam in their inbox if they have a public e-mail address.

Don't worry it's perfectly normal and if you're that worried about it go to your doctor and ask them to check your hormone balance. Ig they find that the extra hair growth is due to too much testosterone in your system, they will likely put you on hormones to correct the problem.

When your body grows too fast for your skin to keep up is when you get stretch marks. This can happen during pregnancy, weight gain, growth spurts, etc. There isn't really a way to get rid of them, but there are ways to lessen their appearance and/or prevent them by using cocoa butter on the area or specially made medications especially made for scars/stretch marks.

Ok, I'm a 16 year old girl and I've got this really great friend who happens to be a guy. We've been friends for a really long time and he lives right next door to me. Since the Homecoming dance was coming up, I asked him to the dance without thinking. (he's the only guy friend who I know that I'd have a good time with and we've gone to the past couple years' dances together so it seemed only natural that we'd go together again) He agreed to go with me so I thought that everything was ok... so we went and had a great time as always. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD A SECRET CRUSH! Now he refuses to talk to me and won't even let me have half of the pictures from the dance. What do you suggest that I do? I can't take back going to the dance because it's already happened and now his crush hates me!
Number one, if he had plans to ask another girl out then he should have told you. It's not your fault. He has no reason to be mad at you. But, if he wants to be a jerk about it, there's nothing really you can do other than go next door and talk to him about it. If he doesn't want to talk to you just say, "Look, I know you're mad at me and for that I'm sorry. But I had no clue that you had other plans. If you had had other plans you could've come right out and told me about them instead of keeping it a secret. All I want right now is my half of the pictures. When you decide your calmed down enough to talk find me, but right now all I want is my pictures." Unless he paid for the pictures, then you either give him half the money for them or give it up as a lost cause.

I don't want to make out with your boyfriend. But I'm just going to take that "u" and turn it into an "I". So, how do you make out with your boyfriend now? The same way you made out before. Just a little more carefully and with less teeth. If you notice you're having problems with the braces you can always use the wax your orthodontist gave you to cover the braces so they don't snag.

I really don't know what to tell ya about if it's you he's liking or another girl. Why not come right out and ask him? Maybe he's hinting around for you to ask him out so he doesn't get turned down. So, my suggestions would be, if you like him ask him out, if you don't like him that way just give him the best advice you possibly can, which sounds like you are doing that already.

My sister(47yrs) has been living with her "common-law" for 14 years. she worked, until he told her to stop. She used her pension payout to buy a car, which has since been sold. He bought her another car, but registered it in his name. She has now left him. Does she have any claims to him for financial assistance etc.?
It all depends on the laws of the state that they were living in at the time of the seperation. Some states count common-law as married, some don't. If they do count it as marriage, even then the rules vary from state to state as to who gets what when the separation happens. You'd have to contact that state for it's rules and regulations.
