I want to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. I don't want to get it professionally done, I want to do it myself. What should I try to remove it (I don't want to use a razor).

Sally Hanson waxing! You can get it from any target, wal mart, k mart store! they have them for leg waxing and stuff too its for eyebrows and facials stuff ithink..

You could try nair hair remover.Make sure to get the facial one though.My friends have tried getting it done and they say it doesn't hurt that bad.So those are to options

hey you can use facial bleach from nair about $3 at walmart. it's the raspberry scented facial bleach or wax it but i prefer the bleach. anything else let me kno. Take care hope i helped! x3 SweetStar.

you can pluck it with tweezers, but that hurts.
or you can buy a "wax" or "no-razor hair removal" thingy... those work. Other than that razors work fine and if you use them gently, you won't leave red marks or bumps.

There is Nair for the face...use that, it smells kind of funky but it RELE works...*hope i helped*

they sell this cream thats in a little bottle and you brush it onto your lip and wait a few minues and wipe it off. It works sooo well for upper lips. Look in the dipilitory cream section and make sure you get the one ment for lips and eyebrows, although i woulden't recomend it for eyebrows.

Hey! You can buy a wax kit from a drug store or wal-mart. Also you can bleach it..but that won't remove it...it will just lighten it to make it not as noticable. DO NOT BUY NAIR it damages your hair roots..it's just as bad a shaving it..and it burns and may give you a rash and irritate your skin! I suggest getting it professionally waxed..thats jut me though! Wax it. By the wax and the paper. It'll probably hurt more since you aren't doing it professionally. But DON'T EVER EVER EVER use a razor. Unless you are a guy, then it won't really matter. But WAX! It's the best way to get rid of almost any unwanted hair.

get a electronic hair removal things. they are a about the size of a pencil. You can buy them at target, walmart,places like that. Look in the beauty departement. Or you can use wax but i don't know anything about that, you can probably find that at those places. Finally, there are a bunch of lotions you can use such as mair and veat. You can also find them at walmart, cvs, target....ect. My best friend uses both veat and nair and they really do work.

YES. Do NOT use a razor. It will look BAD. VERY BAD. Okay, anyway..I think you should wax it! It will look so much better. Why don't you want it done professionally? It doesn't cost a lot, and I think it will be the best way to do it. Well, if you do it yourself, be careful! Good luck :)

hm...well you can use this stuff called Nair. Or you can bleach it. Nair would be your best bet if you want to get rid of it.

It's good that you don't want to use a razor, that will leave stubble growing back which will look worse. The best thing to do would be to get an upper lip waxing kit. These are usually cheap and all you have to do is apply a wax strip and peel it off. Another, less painful way, would be to buy a hair removal cream although some cannot be used on that area.

Nair the sucker right up. That should get rid of it, it does burn for some people though, if you have sensitive skin I don't reccomend it, otherwise just wax it, don't pluck it, you'll be there all day! *have fun trying*hoped i helped*

You can try electrolisis, but that has to be done professionally. A more cost effective way to remove unwanted hair and not have it grow in darker is to try a depilatory for facial hair. It's pain free and lasts a week or two. Or as a last resort you could always pluck.
