I just made the volleyball team and I would like to know these two questions:
1) Can you always see panties under the spandex? Because I only have 3 Thongs and I'll have practice everyday and my mom doesn't even know I have the thongs.
2)When your on your period is a pad visible? I'm not comfortable with tampons, I just got my period a few months ago.

it depends on the color. my school's team has black ones & you can't see anything. thongs are totally not comfortable playing any sport. you can try it, but you'll see. i highly doubt you'd be able to really tell. talk to some girls on your team. obviously you all have to wear them.

all guys look for looks first. i'm a girl & i'm friends with a lot of guys & my bf lets me know too. yes, looks go first, because really, you have nothing else to be attracted to at first. but seriously, personality is the main thing. same thing with guys. you know if you see a hott guy er w/e & then he starts talking & he's a jerk, mean, snobby, etc etc. turn off right?? you start not even realizing how attractive he really was in the first place. looks wise, they'd probably tell you face/body depending on the guy. i'd say face, because it should be the first thing you notice about that person. make sense?? they like a girl that's fit & not incredibly skinny. to be honest, i thought guys always went for the 80 lb girls that had no problem wearing a bikini. i was wrong. curves are better haha =) but anyways, it's basically personality.

Okay so im 125 pounds, 16 years old.

crunches!! ok for your stomach, eating less doesn't help so much haha =) i realized that, i mean it does, but you definately have to exercise your stomach. try ab workouts. they work pretty well. if you're willing to pay for it, then get the ab lounge. i heard it works good. here's a website-

I went with this boy 2 days ago and he told his friend. (who is also my brother's friend who you can say is my friend.)That friend went up to me and said," I heard you and _________ went out together. He told me. " I asked him what else did he say, and he said he wasn't telling me like my BF was hiding something or said someting inmature that wasn't true. I want to know what my BF told my friend if it was true. If I went up to him and asked, he'd think I am nosey. What should I do?
leave it go for a bit & in a few days ask him about it. juss say you were curious & it was bothering you. he might not even see it as being noisy. if you don't want to ask him, then you probably won't figure it out, so ask.

Here are the basics: 18/f, about 138lbs. (Ew).
Okay, so my diet's not too bad - Everything I eat has to be nonfat if possible, and I don't even eat that much. I also exercise, and I know the exercising I'm doing is making a difference - my body looks a little better and feels a little stronger. My goal is to lose like 20 pounds.
I do 200 crunches every other night, 40 every other night
I lift and curl and do pushups and dips, and do some cardio when I can.
But I still have like, an inch of fat on me that I'm DYING to get rid of. I'm convinced at this point that with all the work I do, if I didn't have this fat on my stomach, I would have a nice set of abs. I'm not "fat" - my BMI is normal - but I'm not happy with the way I look and feel.
I know I have to do cardio - but how much? Are there any other tricks I can use? Eating less isn't an option, as I barely eat to begin with. Lol.
Does cutting carbs really work? I thought of that, but my mother is convinced it's bull, so I dunno what to think.
I only drink water and coffee (I can't cut coffee, I neeeeeeeed it.) and I've been sleeping more lately.
That's all I can think of to say, so help me out!

counting carbs helps. i lost 10 lbs in a month & i thought that was pretty good haha =) i did crunches/situps, rode a stationary bike, jogged/ran on a tredmill & i also play basketball. i also drink more water & believe it or not but water actually helps you lose weight. kind've weird. it flushes out bad carbs. i try eating around 2000 carbs a day. you shouldn't go over 2100 if you're active. if not, then it should be around 1500 a day or 1200 if you're majorly overweight, but since 138 lbs definately isn't you shouldn't go that low. keep yourself focused & determined & you should be fine. breakfast is also a major thing. if you don't eat breakfast, your body goes into 'starvation mode' & it stops burning calories & stores them in your body, meaning you might gain weight or stay the same weight so make sure your breakfast is balanced. i know a lot of people that skip breakfast & stuff. sleeping is a major thing too & it's good for you. around 9-10 hours a night if possible can help. maybe you & your friends can go jogging. friends & family can really help keep the motivation/support up to help you lose weight & what not.

ok so anyway, i was going out with this guy, and i thought he really cared about me, like everything was going good, and then we broke up cus it was a difficult time in my life and i didnt want a b/f, so we just cooled it and we started talking instantly after the break up and we gained a really close relationship, like a brother-sister one, and then everything in my life was going good and he loved me, and he proved it too, and it was so real,i could just tell that it was real, so anyway we started going out, and then he broke up with me because he said he liked us better as friends because we talked more. but then he started going out with this other girl, and i was reading some questions on here and i found one that he asked not to long before we went out, and it said that he really like this otehr girl and that she was the one for him and he thought he had liked me, and now i dont know what to do, because he could have been lying about ever loving me at all or he could of been telling the truth, but how can i make him see that i really love him, and that i want him back without sounding like some weirdo creep?...

guys can be really stupid sometimes, so definately don't take anything he did personally. sometimes guys feelings get mixed up & they think they're in love when they aren't ya know?? maybe he friends his gf attractive er something. yes, he could've been lying about it, but are you sure it was him that asked the question?? i think you should confront him about it. i mean, you don't want to be worrying about it & then regret not asking him. he might explain how he feels & then you can explain how you feel. if he seems mad, er doesn't feel like talking then that's when you should move on & juss start going out with other guys. you could be friends with him, i mean it won't be that bad, because you don't want to totally fall in love with someone that doesn't like you back. make sense?? juss talk to him about it & see what happens from there.

ok so i am 103lbs 5'4" but i have no muscle. i want to gain muscle and get rid of this roll i have at my stomach. its gross. you honestly wouldnt think at my weight i could have a pudgy tummy but it sits ontop of my jeans and it makes me feel bad. i normally skip breakfast, snack at lunch and just eat dinner. what could i do differently. ive been doing 50 sit ups a day for like 6 months and its not helping anything. what should i do? i want it gone fast in time for spring. help!

-BREAKFAST. this is definately the most important meal of the day. eat.. a lot. healthy stuff of course. eat things such as cereals, oatmeals, cream of wheat, yogurts, fruits, etc. mix & match those so you have enough. try different juices such as apple juice, orange juice, milk, water, etc. milk is good & you should have about 3 cups a day. also, eating every 3 hrs such as fruits, veggies, crackers, etc. help your metabolism.
-LUNCH. this is more of a 'light meal'. things such as soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. are good.
-DINNER. the whatever meal. you should basically have healthier foods mon-thurs. try things such as a main meat, veggies, & another side dish you like. juss go in porportion & obviously when you're full stop. try not eating after 7-8 pm. fri-sun should be your 'whatever days' for dinner. keep your regular breakfast-lunch schedule but eat more freely for dinner. for me, i can't eat healthy dinners all the time er i get in a bad mood, but if you want to that's definately good.
of course exercise. run, jog, swim, etc.

well i moved to where i am at like 3 years ago, and it took me a while to make friends. i was friends with this one girl for a little while, but we kind of just grew apart i guess you could say. im definitely not a "popular girl" but im not a loser either..im kind of just in the middle and i have a bunch of aquaintences (sp) but i feel like i dont really have any friends that go to my school...my best friend moved like 5 states away after she went to my new school for a couple of monthes (we were both new kids) and its just hard!! i mean do i reject people or something? i dont think anything is wrong with me but i always feel sad when i see people walking down the hall with their best friend or something because i dont have one here..idk.
i've learned that you have to be totally friendly & approachable. be happy & have a positive attitude & you'll make friends. try hanging out with people er juss talking to random people in the hall. how about in your classes?? don't worry, you'll start making friends. basically juss be nice.

i think you should go how you feel. he might've liked you but he obviously likes this girl dana & i guess you shouldn't get involved with that. are you really friends with him?? if not then you can hang out with his brother & what not. if you are friends with them then juss tell him how you feel about his brother. i doubt he'd be mad if he has a gf & all don't you think?? so talk to him about it er if not juss go with how you feel. its your decision & you know what you feel like doing.

ok so i have this friend; we'll call her "jane." well i think she is using me. in english & tech. ed. jane is always like MELISSA MELISSA (melissa's me) BE MY PARTNER! if you don't wanna bring it up with her then you can't really do anything. i mean, that's kind've weird & obviously she isn't a great friend. she should talk to you no matter what, not at certain moments ya know?? a lot of people are basically like that but if she's your true friend then she wouldn't be doing that. i'd say ignore her if you're mad about it. you can't really do anything unless you talk it out with her. try bringing it up with your other friends & maybe you could all talk to her about it together & stuff.

My plan is to work, verry hard.
Im going to workout Before school with a toning video. (5:30am-6:00am)
Then right after school on the tredmil (3:00pm-3:30pm)
Then after my homework,and stuff..(around 6:00pm-7:00pm)
Im going to take all junk away from myself, and my eating. I will drink water, Im going to eat no snacks, and all healthy foods (But i will eat every meal)
Im deterimed, very.. But how much do you think i could loose, within maybe 2 weeks?
2 weeks?? probably between 5-10 lbs depending on your diet too. the working out thing is fine, juss don't over do it. keep yourself hydrated and keep yourself focused.

try going with a theme. hawaiian, springish theme, etc etc. decorating should be simple & not expensive whatsoever, because if you have money to spend, you wanna spend it on food & stuff. my friends do hawaiin themes er springish themes since its almost march & stuff. food is really easy. pick finger foods. maybe get pizzas, chips, pretzels, crackers, etc etc. candy would be good too such as lollipops, twizzlers, gum, etc etc. whatever you like & what your friends like. finger foods are easy because basically someone will like something. you don't want limited dishes, because then there's a greater chance that not everyone will like that food. if you have varietys then you can make everyone happy. games are fun. twister, monopoly, maybe conversation games. there's probably some online if you want to google them.

okay there is this guy i like and a month ago he came to my party he was all over me at my party and i have only talked to him a couple times since my party and when i do talk to him its not alot i really like him and i want us to be more than just friends but i dont know how to talk to him and i dont want to be gettin on his nerves because the day after my party my friend called him without me knowing and asked him out for me and he said he would think about it sometimes i think he likes me but he doesnt really show it and i dont know how to talk to him because hes the "gangster" type and i dont want him to think im stupid .. ughh what should i do?
try talking to him randomly. either like once a day, every other day, maybe get his # or his s/n. juss be yourself & become friends first. don't go straight for the bf thing, juss become friends. umm you probably won't get on his nerves if you talk to him once in awhile, but not all the time ya know?? try hanging out too. movies, dinner, etc etc. in big groups of course at first & then you guys can see how you go from there. after you guys become better friends & hang out then i'd let him know how you feel.
