I just made the volleyball team and I would like to know these two questions:
1) Can you always see panties under the spandex? Because I only have 3 Thongs and I'll have practice everyday and my mom doesn't even know I have the thongs.
2)When your on your period is a pad visible? I'm not comfortable with tampons, I just got my period a few months ago.

i play vball so the answer would be no..if u wear black spandex it should be fine.. but the underwear lines could be visible. As for the pads no they wont show just wear whatever your comfortable in the team is all girls anyways. Also you dont even have to wear spandex to practice everyday. Just wear them with shorts over incase the coach decides she wants you to, but our coach doesnt make us wear them to practice only games. Hope i helped!

dont wear spandex to every practice. its just practice. but if you have to wear the spandex to every practice just buy more thongs. tell your mom you need them for volleyball because otherwise you see the pantylines. she'll understand. my mom is probably one of the least understanding people that i know and she bought me thongs when i was in like 6th or 7th grade so yea. im sure your mom will understand. and about being on your period and stuff...i strongly advise that you try using tampons. they are like 10x better than pads hunnie. you dont even feel them if you follow the directions. if you are afraid that it will leak get a slim thong panty liner. if you decide on the thong thing...they are really thing and they are just there in case you leak. but chances are that if you only wear the tampon during your game you wont leak. hope i helped. good luck in volleyball this season!

id say talk to your mom about it and get some flesh colord undies or some flesh colord thongs. just talk to her about it.

you shouldn`t havee to wear the spandex for practice.... wear some looser fitting shorts with regular undies. and days that you have games wear spandex and a thong. i`m sure it will be a lot more comfortable that way... and about the tampon situation.... if you use it the right way, you can`t even tell you have it in. [try using slim fit tampons. they are smaller && easier to use. besides your game won`t last forever. so wear a pad before the game. put a tampon in when you play, then use a pad after.]

Well for my team, you don't have to wear spandex to every single practice. we have black and yes, you can see panty lines. I don't know about pads but i'm pretty sure you could soo maybe think about tampons. (they'd be easier to control too.)
i personally think thongs are more comfortable for volleyball and you never have to pick wedgies, etc, so think about it and eventually tell your mom and maybe you can go shopping for some so she'll never know you had 3 without her knowing. let me know if you need anything else. <3

it depends on the color. my school's team has black ones & you can't see anything. thongs are totally not comfortable playing any sport. you can try it, but you'll see. i highly doubt you'd be able to really tell. talk to some girls on your team. obviously you all have to wear them.
