i like my ex and its so hard to get over him when he keeps saying sweet stuff to me and just pulling me back in. now i know i cant go back to him because he cheated on me but i really dont think i can resist him when hes being so sweet and saying he "misses me terribly". what can i do to try and get over him??

Getting over guys is ALWAYS hard and takes time, so don't feel like you have to get over him right away. I know how it is because I've been through it also. It hurt so much to try to let them go, but it made me feel better afterwards because then I didn't have to deal with being hurt so much by him. If he cheated on you, think to yourself "well, someday there will be one guy who will love me more than anyone else in the world, and I deserve better," That's what I always did, and it helped.

this may sound wierd but i have a hairy back. not MANLY just a little and it makes me feel wierd when im in a swim suit cause people go om my gosh you have hair on your back and it makes me feel really upset. i like to go swimming but im afraid to now. my mom wont let me shave it. its really just the top with a little. its not a lot but still. what can i do. please dont think im a man.

You should ask your mom if you can get it waxed. I understand she doesn't want you to shave it, because then it'll grow back darker and thicker. Waxing might hurt at first, but since you said it's only a little it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It'll look really good afterwards and you'll be glad you did it. :]

My parents got divorced 6 months ago. Tomorrow them and my sisters and me r gonna like sit down and come up with a plan, so we can have like a regular schedule to see our dad. He picks me up from school every day and stuff, so it's not like i dont see him. I just dont wanna have like a plan! because sometimes im not gonna feel like hangin out with him. and i know this meeting is gonna get me annoyed! idk, how should i handle this ???

Well my parents are divorced also, and we've had scheldueld times to see my dad and stuff. Sometimes I'll go to see him, sometimes I won't because I don't feel like seeing him. It's not like he's always forcing me to go either, so maybe you should just tell him before you go over that you don't want to go that certain day. I don't think he'd get too mad at you if you don't feel like going out that day or something. Don't think about it too much and take the scheduled times as they come. Your sisters probably won't want to see him sometimes also, so don't feel bad if you kindly tell him.

Ok so I have this friend, let's call her Sammy ok? So Sammy recently has started like leaving me and kinda ignoring me. Today she even started hanging out with my enemy! Like 2 weeks ago we started hanging out with a girl named Natasha and ever since she has been doing all these things. Oh and I already talked to her a billion times. It's like she doesn't want to be my friend anymore. Should I just start hanging out with different people?

Yeah, the same thing happened with me, so I'd suggest hanging out with different people until she's ready to talk to you again. Even if she's being really mean, doesn't mean you have to be the same back and take it as she hurt you. Don't show her the satisfaction that you're upset, and try to still be polite though if she ever talks to you. If she's ready to be friends again, then just do what you feel is right. Wait for her to come to you, and then tell her that you were hurt.

hey. ok im like really scared because my parents have already been in a divorce once and i think it's going to happen again. my step-dad smokes pot and my mom is like an alcoholic and always comes home late. he always says that he's moving out and going to get a lawyer but he never really does anything. and like if he moves out then me and my mom have nowhere to go because my dad moved away. and my mom is also like really mean to me. i dont know if she cares where i am or what i do but im just scared where im going to end up, advice?

Your mom is probably really stressed with the divorce, and all the problems with your father. Tell her how you feel, and suggest getting a family counselor or something to help you with all your family problems. I'm sure your mom cares about you, she's known you all of your life. My parents are divorced also, as of four years ago. My mom was always so stressed with everything, it did seem sometimes like she didn't care, but she did the whole time. Your dad probably cares about you also, so just talk everything over with them. God Bless and I'll be praying for your family!

Well I only apply eyeliner on my bottom lid because I don't think it makes a lot of a difference on the top one. I have small eyes too, and pencil eyeliner works really well for me on my bottom lid.

Just dress comfortably, but still flirty. Wear a cute skirt and a t-shirt, or if you want to be more comfortable wear jeans with a cute belt and t-shirt. On your face use what would go best with your skin tone, like if you're Caucasian and have fair skin, wear pink eye-shadow and light pink lip gloss, with a little eyeliner or mascara. Use natural colors and don't go over the top with black on your eyes.

That doesn't seem right, because he has the right to flirt with anyone he wants right now, and so do you. You're the one who wanted to end the relationship so you're going to have to deal with what comes out of it. Try not to be jealous, and don't interfere, and everything will be fine.

It seems like he's messing with your head if he flirts with you, and then says he has a girlfriend. The next time he does something like that to you, you'll have to say something to him or else the whole story could be turned around if his girlfriend ever found out. Just be like, "If you have a girlfriend, why are you doing this?" Don't take his flirting if he's still with his girlfriend, because you'll end up getting hurt, and if he'd cheat on the girlfriend he has now, think about if you two ever went out, he might do that to you too.

Well keep yourself invisible when she signs on, so she can't IM you, or just block her if the IMing gets really bad. I remember I used to have a kid like that who would basically call 10 times a day and IM me constantly, so I just blocked her. Then, she got a new screename and found out I blocked her, bad idea I guess. So I think you should make yourself invisible when she signs on to AIM (to do that, click on the little eye on the top of the buddy list). When she calls (I don't know if she does but in case she ever does), tell her you're about to take a shower, or you have homework to do. I know you probably don't want to hurt her feelings, so DON'T actually tell her that you're fed up with her, that'll turn bad.

Talk to him about what you talk about with your girlfriends, minus the shopping and girl stuff, haha. Try not to be shy around him, because if you're both nervous around eachother, nothing will happen. Just show him by being friendly and funny that he doesn't have to be uncomfortable around you, and make him feel like he's one of your good friends. He might be shy, or maybe he's not interested. You'll have to find out, so if you keep being nice to him and he doesn't change around you, then he might not be interested in going out. How do you know that he likes you? Did he tell you, or did a friend tell you? If he told you, then just continue to flirt with him and be funny when you're around him. If a friend told you or you just "think" he likes you, then ask him yourself how he feels once you get to know him better.

It seemed like he was flirting (in an funny way though haha), but it might not mean he likes you. A lot of guys flirt with girls for fun, even if they claim they don't have feelings for them, but if you're friends with him you should try to find out if he likes you back. Ask him out on the phone or at school (I wouldn't suggest doing it over IM, for all you know it could be one of his friends using his screename). If you're not comfortable doing so yet, then just become closer to him, and flirt, and soon he'll figure out that you like him.

Age 14/f. There's this kid who lives down the street that I have a huge crush on. He's a year younger, which is fine with me. The only problem is that we are two grades apart. I am a freshman in high school and he is only in seventh grade. When I moved, something got mixed up with the cutoff dates and I am now a very young freshman (or a very old eighth grader.) We are a year apart, but as far as anyone else knows, it's actually two years. Do you think it's worth it to go after him? Or should I give up and look elsewhere? (If it makes a difference, he's still taller than I am by about an inch.)

Two years isn't even that bad, so I say you should try asking him out if you really like him. It doesn't really matter what everyone else thinks about this situation, all that matters is that you're both happy and comfortable with it. And also, even though you said he's taller then you, it still wouldn't really matter, aha. There are a lot of girls going out with guys who are taller, and I don't think looks matter much anyway. (Sorry I just wanted to add that)
