im fourteen and i was at school and we were in gym. and i was sitting in the bleachers talking to my boyfriend and all his guy friends. and we were just talking and sitting there. and then i relized i think i got my period. so i got up and it was all over my shorts. and all his friends started laughing at me it was so embarassing and he looked extemely embarassed too. and then hes told them to shutup and then they started laughing at me and him not sure why they were laughing at him. but now they always tease me and he always tells me just to ignore them but i cant and he alwayssss hangs out with them since there all like best friends and they constintly make fun of me what should i do?

Guys at 14 are immature, and find even the dumbest stuff.. funny. Those guys need to grow up. Its a period. Girls get them, we can't control it and we can't stop it and start it when the time is right. You shouldn't be embarssed it happens to almost all girls. It's just blood and even though it's the worst thing that could have happened to you at the time, you'll look back on it and laugh one day.

As for the immature punks ;) They might dwell on this one for a little while. Your boyfriend is right, you should just ignore them. Easier said then done I know I know. When they start to laugh at you, just laugh with them. They are only making fun of you because they know it bothers you. Don't show that it embarsses you. They want to make you feel uncomfortable and make you feel like an idoit, but you honestly have no reason to feel like that. So the next time they laugh at you; just stare at them, or laugh with them.. start talking about something else. Make it seem as though what they are saying doesn't bother you one bit, even if it does on the inside.

It's going to be okay. You'll get use to the leaks and one day when they finally do grow up, it won't be funny to them anymore... just normal =)

Depends on the person. Some people can smoke pot and drink and be just fine. Others on the other hand, and do the same, and get a stomach ache, a headache, or just not feel well. It also depends on how much your drinking in smoking. So people can deal with different amounts in their systems.

Ok...I'm 16 years old and i have a boyfriend. Is it possible to just not be ready for sex at 16? A lot of my friends have had sex, and done oral sex...but i just dont feel ready for any of that...and i have no desire to do any of that. Is that normal? Everyones ready at their own time, just because your friends are doing all that doesnt mean you have to. You don't have to do anything until your comfortable with it. So don't worry, your not a freak or anything. It's normal, and can acuttally be ca good thing..

Highschool isnt that bad, may seem like it but its not. There is alot more freedom. Teachers arnt always breathing down your back.

The upper class men won't bug you, no offense, but they will have better things to do them pick on freshmen. Youll be refured to as freshy, freshmeat, and news. Nothing wrong with that. Only problem I had was on the first day.. finding all my classes. I gave up and asked a teacher for help. Don't feel bad if you have to ask someone where to go. Be yourself and don't worry about having the same friends as you did in middle school. Make new friends, weather they are upper class or you class. Seniors will say stuff, (maybe not saying they will) and try to get with you. Saying is freshmen are easy, which they arnt.

I took algebra 2 too. Its not different, they are there to learn. Just be yourself. Ask questions and focus on your work. First couple days or even weeks, you might not get alot of talking too, but after a while people will start to talk to you more and more.

Don't worry about whats cool or not for freshmen to do. Be yourself. Have fun. People say highschool sucks and its the worst four years, but others say its the best. Its what you make of it. Have friends hang out and pass your classes. Don't worry about being cool, because the harder you try to cool the more uncool youll look.

Have fun in highschool, make the most of it. Don't worry about being cool, and make new friends. You'll live.. it's not so bad :)

If it's for the flow I don't know..on the first day it's a lot but not like super a lot because I could wear a pad for 5 hours and it doesnt even fill the whole thing.

I think it depends on the size of your flow. The heavier your flow the larger the tampon youll need to use. Ligher flows, you use a much less obsorbent tampon.

Its your choice not your friends. It will not be the end of your life, or anything like that.. so don't think that. Just be comfortable in your decision.

Ask her :) Seems like a dumb idea I know, but its the best way to find out if shes ready.. if she says no not yet, just agree and say yeah me neather. Make her feel comfortable, that it doesnt matter to you if its a yes or a no.

You dont even have to agree with her. If she says no, and then she askes you just tell her you are but if shes not, then you understand and things wont change until shes comfortable enough.

You cant physicaly make your brests larger, you cant demand them to grow and bam your brests are larger, lol. Try padded bras and/or water bras, they are made to make your brests appear larger, and fuller.

alright, there's this guy named Drew. we're not incredibly close, but he sits next to me in science and is in a couple of my classes, so we're friendly with eachother. so today we had to get colored pencils in english, and they were all on his desk so i walked over there, grabbed a box and walked away. well he like smiled at me and then like got a "serious" look and grabbed the colored pencils and was like, "what do you think your doing? put that back!!!" it was weird though, was he like trying to flirt? Okay well today i got my braces tightened/ajusted.... and they gave me the elastic (rubberband) things.... and i have no clue what they are supposed to do to your teeth... Can someone explain to me what they are supposed to do...??

When I had braces, the main reason for my rubber bands were to straighten the bottom and top and aline them even more. If you are totally not sure what they are for, have your mom or dad call the ortho. & ask, nothing bad could happen from asking :)

I'm a teenager and my periods have been regular for quite some time. My problem is with cravings. I'm on a strict diet- and I can't deal with always being bombarded with random cravings for unhealthy food. It's unbelievable how intense they are- like I feel as though I should kill myself if I can't get the food I'm craving.

How do I stop these?

If the cravings last so long that you feel as though you should kill yourself (not in real terms) then have your craving. Have it ideal amounts. A period is once a month, nothinng to be worried about. If you dont hit the cravings when they are small youll need to when they are much larger and it will take more to hit the cravings.

Just remeber ideal amounts, and don't beat yourself up over eating something not on your diet. your a teenager... live a little ;)

It didnt for a little while, and I was confused by it too, but its back and showing who you are in a relationship with.

BUT for it to show up you have to choose the person and they have to accept that you two are in a relationship together.

My opinion, when you are ready. If that mean before marriage or until thats the person choice. When they understand the risks and they are comfortable with their decision. No one can tell someone when they can and cant have sex. Its a personal feeling. People know if they are ready or not, but having sex before you understand completely what its all about (to me) is dumb. If you dont understand what you are doing then you shouldnt be doing it at all.

FOR THE FRIEND:
Friends can be complicated sometimes, and we dont know why. They girl is maybe (not for sure) but could be hanging with you now because she likes the boy you do. You could ask the friend why all of a sudden she is hanging out with you and how she just now is. I mean, its not like you would be risking a "good" friendship. If she is just now hanging out with you because you are hanging with that guy i don't see how you would be hurting anything. If you loose her as a friend I think it would be okay, but talk to her about it, see whats up and why he is acting like this.

FOR YOUR FAMILY:
My parents have never been divored, so I'll try my best to help. They have relized that they are not working out being a couple. I don't think its your fault, but I'm sure the fighting is tough. Trying busying yourself so you dont have to listen directly to the fighting. Read a book, listen to an Ipod, call a friend, or even go to a friends house. Just remeber that the fighting isnt your fault, and that sometimes being apart is better then being together. Maybe busying yourself will take your mind off them fighting all the time. Things will become better in time. The fighting will end, and things will seem perfect (in a way).

Yes, because you never know if infact your cycle had already begun & if it had, and you had sex at the right time of the cycle then yes you could become pregant.
