okay. i really need my braces off. like i got them in 6th grade. and im now a freshman! i dont wear my elastics, and if i wear them they'll come off. and to those that have already had elastics and braces, approx. how long will it take for my teeth to not have an over bite anymore? i really need my braces off!!!!

I have braces & for the longest time I didnt wear my bands.
But, I learned you need to so I can get them off!
I double them up at night or twist them when I wear them, so it does the job twice as much!
A lot of people who had braces did that, so I took there advice, so I should be getting mine off pretty soon.

ok, my period has been weird. i am 18 and these past 2 times it has been dark brown, spotty, and lasts only a few days. I know im not pregnant b/c im a virgin. What is going on? Also it has come unexpectadly both times...like early...like this tiem it was 2 weeks early and last time it was a week and a half early...what could be going on?

Yeah, sometimes that happens to me too. Periods can be weird. But, don't worry everythings fine =).

&& for some girls, periods only last a couple of days and some girls last 7 or more days, every girls period is different.

Me my friend are going to start a t-shirt line that says stuff on it like random sayings, eventually we'll go into pants like sweats and necklaces or whatever. thing is we need a name for our label i was wondering if anyone had some ideas??

The sayings are going to be dirty(lol), funny, and random but we will do some design stuff too the look will be kind of punk/urban/suburbs kinda look so yeah just to give you an idea. Thanks so much!!!!

ok so here it goes.... me and my gf were hangin out in my room a couple weeks ago and we randomly decided to take a pic of her wit her top off and covering her nipples with her hands. i took it on my phone and had it for awhile. 2day when i got home from her house i had her call my aunt and left my phone in there. she comes in my room with the pic and yells at me for doing it and says thats y i dont trust u. she said she might tell her mom but that would ruin anything. i cant talk to my mom about it bc i never could and whenever i try she doesnt listen. wat should i do??

Didn't she know you were taking the picture though? Sounds like she did. If she did, then why would you delete it right away.. you know? And she won't tell her mom, because if she did, her mom would be mad at her too because she's the one that got undressed and got topless.. right? So, she won't tell her, she's just mad and is saying all this stuff to you. Let her cool down a bit and talk to her. Take her to your house and just sit her down and be like "I'm sorry that you got mad at that picture, but you knew that I was taking it, it's not like I'm going to show anyone, I don't want anyone seeing MY girlfriend naked. I respect you a lot and wouldn't do that to you. I don't understand why you're so mad at me. If you're really upset by it, then just say something and I'll delete it. I'm really sorry though." You can look at the layouts the advicenators gave you, or you could go and look at backrounds from different websites. Try going to google and typing in like "cute backrounds" or something. And once you found it, save it to your documents. Then go to:

www.photobucket.com

Make an account (its free!) and save it there, then get the URL link and where it says URL link (when you're making your backround colors, etc.) paste it there!

My gramma passed away a week ago. As a grandkid, i recieve 2000 dollars. I hafta put most of it in the bank, cus my parents are making me. If you're using new detergent, you might be allergic to it.

Or, you just have dry skin, try putting lotion on them when you wake up and before you go to bed!

Hey! you asked my about how me and my boyfriend of 2 years broke up..and it's not personal so i'll tell ya! Ok well first of all, he hurt me sooooo many times..by not wanting to do anything with me on weekends, and sometimes he wouldn't even call me for the hole weekend!!!..By making me feel like he didn't like me..he only hugged me in school, god forbid anyone see him lay a hand on me!! We didn't have much in common, He felt like he had to call me or else I would get mad...and he would ask if we were talking long enough when he did call. Ik, you're probably thinking how did they stay together for soo long??! Well, all this started happening after about 10 months or so. He was perfect before that..which hurt me even worse because he all the sudden changed when I knew what he could be. So.. this other kid came into the picture when I about had it with my boyfriend. He seemed soo perfect for me, we had sooo much in common, we would talk for 2 to 3 hours a day, and his best friends is dating my bestfriend!! We met around april..may and my boyfriend ended up breaking up wtih me because my friend sent him a mean letter(ik I really thought that was dumb of him to break up with me over) . and this other kid was soo happy because he wanted us to be together. But I was soo sad about the break up...and I ended up getting back together with my boyfriend. So I kept getting to know this other kid and he waited 5 months, turning down other girls..just for me. And he didn't even know if he was going to end up being with me. But finally I broke up with my boyfriend because I knew that I coudln't stand anymore of what he puts me though and I also wanted to give this other kid a chance. So after about a week of me and my boyfriend being broke up I started going out with this kid. I did this so soon because I thought it would help me get over my ex boyfriend!! But now I feel like something is holding me back. soo yeah thats pretty much allll that happen! Sorry it's sooo long!

I've done that, but this kid, wow, he seems so perfect for you!
Just give him a chance, take things slow.
See where everything takes you and what not.
You know the kid will go the same speed you want it to, he seems like he REALLY likes you.

My dad has blood cancer and has been in the hospital for the past 6 months. His whole family is basically just waiting for him to die so they can get his money. None of them have even visited him in the hospital in the whole 6 months. Actually, his brother did--on his birthday. It's my mom's family that has been there for us and my dad. They don't want anything from my dad.


Everyone has been telling my mom to not even give them the chance at my dad's money if, god forbid, anything should happen to him. But we don't know if there is any legal way we can keep them from getting anything. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or any ideas?

So, I know how that feels.

I kinda know what to do, my mom worked for lawyers!
But, anyways, if your dad has a will written.
Go and talk to his lawyer about it.
He will tell you, what belongs to who.
&& what people will get.

You can also try talking to your dad about it and see if he remembers any of it.
Just ask him if he has ever written a will before.
Or ask your mom about it!

But, yeah it might be because you're not over your ex b/f completely, you might always have feelings for him because he was your first love and stuff.

Or another reason it could be because you might be afraid of loving him..? I don't know because I don't know if you got really hurt by your ex boyfriend and all.

Try talking to a close friend when you want to cut, because usually when you cut is when you're hurting or whatever, so express your feelings by telling a friend how you feel instead of cutting yourself.
And also, put a rubber band around your wrists and whenever you feel like cutting, snap the rubberband.

My friend would have two periods a month and she hated it! Not every girls period is the same, some girls periods only last a couple days while some will last 7 or more days. It's not weird at all to have two periods a month, so don't think that at all!! If you're really worried about it, I would suggest to go see a doctor about it and see what he/she says about it! whne is the right age to start wearing makeup??

I didnt start to wear make up til about 8th grade. Some girls start wearing it around 7th and 8th grade. I know some who didnt wear it til freshmen year of High School. So, you can start at 13 and up. It just depends on if your mom wants you to start wearing it. Whenever you and your mom/dad are ready for you to wear it, then go ahead and start wearing it =D Just start off with alittle powder and mascara and lipgloss or whatnot. Nope, thats average for a girl. Every girl has a different body type, if this makes you feel better, Tyra Banks who is a super model is like a size 5 or something!! A lot of people wear size 5, when they look like a size 0. It just depends on your hips, curves, and your butt!! lol. But, nope, thats average and you're skinny!! ♥

ok so my moms going into operation tomorrow. and its not a big one. but im just scared cause she told me you can die over the littlest ones too. and im really worried.. what can i do to get my mind off of everything?

If you don't mind me asking. What kind of surgery does she need to get?

Your mom will be okay. My mom has gone through a lot of operations.. two of the surgeries she's gone through, has been in her brain. And those are very risky, and she's survived both of them. If that makes you alittle better knowing that. Any surgery you get, is risky. But, so many people come out of surgery fine! It's just a doctor basically has to say that because if something were to happen, people could sue them saying "well you didn't tell me this was possible.. blah blah blah" kind of thing. When my mom was getting surgery though, things that got off my mind was actually going to school and getting away from everything, hanging out with my friends, listening to music, enjoying things I liked to do. Try to think positive things, like "well when she gets out of the hospital, we'll go shopping" or "go out to lunch" or something like that. You could also try running or reading a magazine or what not. Just things you do in your every day life, that you like to do, is going to get your mind off of it a little bit.
