You could tell them to remember that no matter what happens in life, it will always be ok. And tell them that you're going to make things right so none of this will be replayed in their lives. And do try making things right, fighting never solves, you'd rather be in trouble for being a smart mouth to a teacher than hitting them. You just have to know that when kids and teachers are in battles, the teacher ends up winning half of the time because they're the adult, and remember, that is HALF the time they win. That means the rest are mostly idiotic perverts to their students and are rude. But most likey that teacher is innocent. So just spend time with your friends, when you're alone you just end up drowning your face up in tears, making it more depressing than it is, and it may seem bad right now, but just remember that what is happening to you right now is right, even if it feels like crap, so just tell your friends that its ok even when it doesn't feel like it.

Q: Okay, I just want to know why so many people consider suicide. What do they think it will achieve? Do they really think everyone will be better off if they are dead? Everyone would just be upset! So please, someone enlighten me.

I know what you mean. I'll let you in a little secret about that. Most people who say they want to do, don't. It is mostly attention seekers. Now there are those who are in so much misery they think that if they were gone, they wouldn't have to be so miserable, because when you're really miserable, you pretty much get to the point of where you'd do anything in the world, even if it means dying and hurting someone else, but they always think that nobody will care. But you're so right, they would be very upset about their child or sister/brother had died. But I think that the reason people think nobody would care, like their parents for instance, because a suicidal child is probably having a bad relationship with their parents, which makes them think that they don't care. Another thing is, that only so many people die from suicide, but people who had to find out that their child had killed themself is terrifying. What goes through their mind like "I wasn't a good parent, I was horrible" and then, they get so depressed. But because that child and their parent fought so much was because the poor kid was really sad, depressed, didn't wanna live, and for a parent living with that makes them go crazy, and they have no idea what to do. So what I've learn about suicide and having a suicide child is to always remind them that you love them, never yell at them for being sad, always trying to take them places, making sure my kid knows that they are my world and nothing less. But with suicide happening, the world is a very sad place. I hope I answered your question and gave you an idea.

Don't be embaressed for being clueless. Theres a first for everything, right? Well, I don't really suggest lip gloss, maybe just bare lips, and just linger as much as he does. A key to kissing is to let the guy lead the way, he had a first too. And usually longer kisses seem the most intense and cute, but if you don't want to kiss any longer, just stop slowly. Let me give you another key, there is NO explaination for how to kiss, this is all you and him, if you like to do it for 2 minutes, thats you, if you like to brush tongues more than rub, that is YOU and HIM. So basically, that means there is no way you can kiss the "wrong" way. I know people call others bad kissers, but you see, most bad kissers have kisses like to much spitting all over, even in public, just drooling all over, lol, I think you can kind of tell that when you kiss like that, you're just asking for that bad name. And afterward is a pretty powerful part, like in the movies, you just stare in the akward moment, but staring in this loving way. First kisses are very scary sometimes, but its normal.

Q: Um, hi, I want help... Ok, i have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which means you're really obsessed with doing things like washing your hands and taking a bath like so many times a day just to get rid of germs (yeah you need to). But sometimes you just do it even if you don't need to. I am also obsessive about locking doors. I think this can turn into depression. I'm trying to fight it. I don't wanna tell anyone but my really close friends cause I don't like expressing myself. And I wouldn't like taking pills or anything cause my mom is a nurse and she said that sometimes it can make it worse. How can i stop myself from doing things i don't really want to do. I do it even though i don't really want to cause I just force myself to. Soo... please give me your advice! I need help!

Well, I don't have OCD, but I do have an obsession with shutting doors, if its a crack open, nope, not good enough, lol. But anyway, you should talk to your mom, instead of your close friends being expressed to with your feelings, you should start to with your mom, because the more you do it, the easier it gets.

Q: latley ive been feeling like i cant seem to please ne one. Which shouldnt be a problem, but thats in my personality,to please people. I try todo the right things, and make everyone happy, but then im not happy, so i do wat i want every once n a while, and then everyone gets mad.N ive never had to try to get people to care about me, or get guys, people were always just there for me, and i awlays seemed to have a guy, until about a month ago..erg...wat am i doing wrong??

You're probably not doing anything wrong here. They're probably just use to you doing things for them and when you do something for yourself it just shocks them, and they dislike it, but if they keep getting mad then remind them that you are always doing things for them, and if they're still ungreatful, then I say stop doing things for them. If they don't learn to appreciate your doing, then you should stop until they realize you're a person too!

Q: I was at my friend's house the other day and we decided to make him pass out. Then i wanted to try it just to see how it felt. So i hyper-venalated myself, held my breath, and let him pick me up with my arms crossed at my chest. Before i knew it i woke up and was on the floor. Everyone was staring at me and i didn't remember anything but it was really cool. I did it about 12 more times. Is there a health risk when you do this? Can it cause serious damage to your brain or anything??

Q: My parents are divorced.. my mom's boyfriend proposed to her a few months ago and ever since then they have been having major problems. They never get along, and they're having a lot of money problems too. It's like one day they're all lovey-dovey and flirting and everything, and the next day they're not speaking to eachother. My mom keeps saying that she doesn't know if she wants2 spend the rest of her life with him or not. But i really want them to get married. Is there anything I can do to help them out? I've already suggested couple's therapy but he doesn;t wanna go. Any more suggestions? My mom is always depressed, and its making me depressed and it;s really hard to live like this. plz help!!

Talk to the boyfriend, he obviously doesn't know how depressed she is. Tell him how your mom would do anything to make things better between them. And if it looks like he doesn't care, then he shouldn't be there, if he cared, he would do something, like couples therapy, its pretty silly that he won't though.

Q: ive been back and forth with my mom and dad. I seem to only cause problems. im 13 and im tired of hurting people in dec i tried to commit suicide by cutting 3 of my veins and i jumped off a 3 story building i hate putting people through misery so my next idea is to run away, but are there any other options, and i have tried talking i just did but its not workin so pleaze dont say talk to your mom cuz it aint happinin and no rude comments either

I think everyone knows that running away is not the answer, you can't run away from everything that gets tough. And yes, you're going to get the answer you don't want, your parents love you even though it may not seem so. Your family is a support system! Without them, you wouldn't be here. I know it can be hard for you, but have you ever thought about how your parents feel? A suicidal daughter who wants to die, watching her go through misery, they are probably going crazy here. You need to tell your mom or a school counselor that you need a therapist, or need to be put in a institution, I'd say go with the therapist, but you have already tried to commit suicide more than once. You can't fight with your parents forever, thats probably half the reason you want to die. Because you feel unwanted, your relationship with your mom is shattered, and now without them, you have nothing, you need to get someone involved to help you gain something back with your mom, trust me, you need her, because now that you have nobody, you only have your negative thoughts, theres nobody there to tell you to not do the things you're thinking about, you need someone fast, because if you hate putting people through misery, you will be putting people through serious hell by killing yourself. And that is true. And you say that its not going to happen with talking to your mom, well, if you are willing to get yourself out of the mess you are in, it will be happening.

Q: okay my friends name is holly and her boyfriend's name is zach. theyve been going out since about december, maybe a little before. i basically set them up because they are honestly the perfect couple. its just that sometimes i feel like she prefers to hang with him over me. i was in the hall talking to her one day and then along comes zach and i was in midsentence. then she just walks away with him. I WAS IN MIDSENTENCE! she didnt say goodbye or anything. its sortof making me wonder. i dont know if its just jealously - but my other friends are noticing it too. honestly - they are perfect for each other. and i dont want them to break up. this past weekend we went to the movies and she asked if she could take him. i wanted it just to be us girls but finally she convinced me that he had to come. she said 'im only over his house today for two hours and i never see him' when she sees him everyday for at least like 2 hours. how can i let her know that she sortof needs to let him go, not break up, but detach herself from him when it comes to going out to the movies or anywhere with FRIENDS? im sorry this was so long, but i rate high! =) thanks so much

No way, its fine to be jealous, but you have got to talk to her, tell her how you felt about that, that was really rude, you and I both know that, so, ask her if you can hang out with them, and if not, I'd tell you to ditch her back, but I'm not sure if your one of those angry revenge type of girls, lol. But tell her that the setup you put for them was not a ditch. And make sure you setup a girls night, make it clear to her that Zach will not be coming, you need to talk to her.

Q: I'm 22/m and my sister just turned 16. We're very close with one another and usually can share anything. Recently, however, she has become more sexually explorative, which is fine, but now seems to be obsessed by it. She told me yesterday that she wants to hook up with this 19 year old freshman in college that I know. They're not dating, but are considering getting to know each other. My sister used to be so righteous and moral and I feel that she's going to just end up hurt with this new sexual discovery. She's thinking about getting ahotel room with this guy this weekend. What should I do? I don't want her to get hurt and frankly, I don't want her to turn into a slut. Thanks =Concerned Brother=

Tell someone, tell your mom, shes too young for a guy at 19. You have to warn her, and tell her why you have to tell, and even if she doesn't like, you tell. You don't want your sister a mother at 16. That 19 year old is probably just wanting that one thing from her, and you have to make sure he does not get it, whether she wants it or not, you are doing the right thing, please tell someone, she needs someone more near her age.

Q: im saying a eulogy at my grandmas mass tomorrow, how can i start it...leave ur AIM sn so i can IM u, i dont want all the details all over here...thanks

Try to think about the little things first, and then as you go on in the eulogy, just have bigger things, like here.
Being with my grandpa meant laughing, and playing games he played as a kid
And as we played, he would answer any questions I had, he taught me so much, I'll always remember it
Its really hard to lose someone that meant so much to you, that meant the world to you, and for me, he was a big loss and saved my life before he lost his own
(I know he may not have saved you, but its an example, just start little, and increase.)

Q: hey im a good writer and all but im havin trouble writing a poem to my friend. I wrote it out in a paragraph saying
"I've been doing some thinking. This may sound a little akward but I'm sorry I know your right. I guess I haven't been using my head so greatly these past few weeks. I'm happy to finally know I actually have someone who will give me helpful advice and a shoulder to cry on. When I need it. I guess we can thank those summer night chats with out those I guess we really wouldn't have all those memories and inside jokes made.
Thanks for being there for me"
I know if I work for hours I can get it but I can't seem to get it out. Can someone write a poem for me? or should I just leave it as it is and explain that in a paragraph form and not make any changes. I'm not sure what to do... thanks for helping if you do.
(P.S. he writes as well)

God knew I needed you, so you are here for a beautiful reason
To help us suffer, and love, and help each other as we change like a fresh new season
I know that God didn't give me air to breathe, he gave me you
As I've watched you catch me when I fell, and comfort me more than you do yourself, I know its all true
Memories are locked up inside with me to stay, and will never leave me
Sometimes, you and I are both afraid that we will move on, but then I remembered that moving on doesn't mean moving apart, the only thing that makes sense in life, is you and me
God put you on this earth so you can tell me that theres more to life than bad
and god knows that if you weren't here today with me, my view of the world would be ugly, and every season would be sad.

Q: I loathe myself, every tiny detail about myself. I hate my appearance...My
hair, my face, my teeth, my hands, my eyebrows, chest, stomach, back, arms, etc...I
hate every characteristic of my personality, every last one. I think of my self
as stupid, incompetent and worthless. Everything that goes wrong is my fault. I
suck at every thing I do. Seeking professional help is not an option for me, and
neither is getting help from a trusted adult. Even if either were an option, I’m
much, much, much to timid to ask for help...I don't think I even deserve to have
people waste there time on me to help me anyway.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Go look in your mirror and list one thing you hate about yourself, say it out loud why you hate it, say it aloud to yourself. Then, think of if you had a best friend that looked like you, and look at yourself, and try to pretend going up to your identical best friend and complimenting them. "I love your hair, the best thing about it is its color, its length, and how beautiful it is dry." "I love your teeth, its like no matter when you don't brush them, they always are white, and they may be a little crooked and out of shape, but they would still look great with braces." Then, about your personality, if you had a best friend just like you, would you appreciate the way she treats you? Would she be there for you? Is she rude, is she judgemntal? You just need to get to the bottom of why you dislike yourself so much. Every morning, try complimenting yourself, even when you just wake up. Heck even if you don't mean it, just say "you look sexy." And when you walk away and think "yeah right" just say, "Oh thank you mind! I just love those thoughts, but I am sexy, and you can't do anything about it" just try it. (The key to being comfortable through life, and not being afraid, and not being ashamed of things is if you are full of confidence in yourself.)

Q: I think I'm depressed.. its like sometimes I can be really happy and have a positive outlook on life, and then other times I feel like my life is falling apart. I don't think I'm suicidal, but Im just afraid that someday i might be if i dont get help. I told my dad i wanted anti-depressents or therapy, but he said no cuz he doesnt believe me that im depressed. he just wont take me seriously. what should i do? what are some ways to be happy w/o anti depressents??
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Don't think about medication until you're for sure that you're depressed, my dad didn't want me on medication either, because, I guess he just felt like it wasn't important, or there was something better. But please, try your best to be undepressed, I am a depressed person, and it feels HORRIBLE when you really are depressed, it is so hard to know who you are, and you lose yourself, you just start hating instead of loving, then the next thing you know, your friends have got new friends because you pushed them away because you always wanna be alone. Lots of people want to be depressed and if they really felt it, they'd regret it more than ever. So just try your best, when those sad moments come to you, just do something like take a shower and think of everything good in your life. Like you've never felt bad before. Things that usualy help me, (I got this from a depression book)
1.Inhale deeply, hold it for 5 seconds
2.Exhale and make it to where you can hear yourself exhale, and as you do say "relax."
3. Try it up to about 5 or 10 times
I hope you don't end up like me, I wish you luck.

Well, I have a boyfriend and I am 14, its alright to date, but I feel its better to not, and save your heart until later, because its more painful when you're younger. But when you don't feel right about a relationship, it usually means you aren't ready, or something about that person you happen to be dating is doing something to make you feel weird. Just remember, you should do what your heart, well, I'd say mostly your mind tells you.

It isn't dangerous, but I wonder why your hole school is doing it, the only thing you won't like about shaving your arms is it usually grows back thicker. But don't do it to just fit in and because everyone else is doing it, you should love your arms unshaved, its better and "cooler" I guess I can say to be you and different.

Q: ok, the other night, I stayed the night with my best guy friend. We have been flirting and hugging and things like that with no problem. But then we were laying together and we were doing a little rubbing and touching on eachother and then I started feeling weird like I...or we did something wrong?? I dont know why either....does any one know why that might be?

Well, if I spent the night with a guy, I'd feel grossed out and weird because first of all, young girls should not be spending the night with boys unless they have a baby with them. and its because it was your GUY friend, the stuff you and him did is something a boyfriend and girlfriend do, you guys should have at least hooked up, what if he was doing it just to "get some?" you never kno, he may be your friend, but you just never know. But, you should try talking to him about it.

Oh man, everyone has heard of the bases and talks like they know them, but actually they're made up, don't be afraid to ask people what second base is to them, they get labeled differently all the time. And talk to your friend, ask her what she did, and its actually none of your business, but your her friend, so just ask.

The perfect exercise would be sit ups, like 50 a day, or 20, I did about like 80 a day and in 2 days my stomach was very flat. So you should try it
