16 and over a year? Have you told anyone, its not gonna matter if you don't want to go to the doctor, if you carec about your body and yourself, and you wanna know whats up, a doctor can tell you, you have to go see a doctor, I can't even guess whats going on, I've never heard of not having a period for over a year.

my question is why you waited a year to ask these questions. you should have gone to your mother as soon as you realized that you missed your first period-like when it was a month late. she may ask you if you've had sex, but it's all for your health. if you don't go get it checked out there could be something seriously wrong with you that you won't get cured. i have no idea what could cause this, but please talk to your mom. i know this may sound a little mean, but it's the truth. there is no healthy reason as to why a girl would be a year late on her period. if you really don't want to tell your mom, you could always go to like a planned parenthood place and ask them to help. but mom's always best.

Hi Sweetie,
Maybe because you are stressing out. Sometimes when we stress out or change sertain habbits like eatting-sleeping patterns our periods delay.
However, if too much time passes you will have to go see a doctor. Meanwhile, try not to stress too much.
Best wishes! ~Blessed Be...

You might not want to, but you have to go seee a doctor. You are at a high risk of cancer. Going to see a doctor would be the safest thing to do. Hope my advice helps!

You could have an infection or a cist on your ovaries. Something is wrong up there and you need to find out. You should have went to the gyno 6 months ago. Don't wait any longer.. you can get cancer anytime

peace

Your period probablly isnt regulated or got thrown off track. If your extreamly active or your on the thin side its highly possible for missing your period. I wouldnt get mayjorly concerned about it until your about in your 20`s. But try getting birth control or something if its really concerning you, birth control will help regulate it. Good Luck.
