I am in 7th grade and I am in level math... Next year I am skipping Pre-Algebra and taking Algebra.. can any1 give me any expectations or any math tips? Thanks a bunch!

Well from my opinion, I don't think you should skip Pre-Algebra. Trust me, I know. I never had it and in 8th grade they sent me straight to Algebra 1. I almost failed because I didn't understand it at all. So I had to take it again my 9th grade year and I passed it. If you want to skip it you can, but I think you might want to try going to a Pre-Algebra summer class or something if you can. It might suck, but you don't want to have to take a class again, lol.

To answer what you asked me... if you're doing that then I think you should go on and take Algebra if you want. =)

ok i just got pro-active and i was wondering how long does it take 2 start seeing results?

Yeah, I'm like the only person who it didn't work for, lol. I used it a few months and it didn't work much. It did a little at first but after that, it stopped. If you have acne, cut a lemon in half and rub it on the acne. Then wait like 5 - 10 minutes (it will burn, trust me lol) and wash it off. It works though. My face is alot clearer because I did that, and use Noxzema (I think lol) face wash.

ok, i was just looking at my fingernails and i noticed on a few i have white spots.I seem to always have them.What are they?Is there any way to prevent them?

They're called nutrient marks I think, lol. They're from not getting enough vitamins & iron. I have a gazillion of them, so I guess it's normal. lol.

i've been getting headaches alot and really i mean ALOT!...ive had 3 today and ive been having them like everyday. does anyone know what could be the reason?

You might have cluster headaches. That's when you have a headache for a few days straight then it goes away and comes back a month or so later. I have them and they suck, lol. You might want to try a different kind of headache medicine too. I can take Advil and after a while they stop working and I have to take something else like Excedrin. If you still have the headaches maybe you should go to the doctor and have them check it out.

I'm not going to prom b/c i have an AP physics final test two days later and i don't want to get distracted. But, my friends are mad at me b/c they are seniors and its our last year to go to a dance as a big group-their being mean "subtley"-like they'll slip in some mean things-wat do i do? and how do i not feel so miserable?

I think you should go. It's your last year at school & you shouldn't miss out. You can study for the test after you get home from it and the days before it. =)

I'm 14/f and I'm going to be turning 15 on May 18th, so I was going to see if I could get a tattoo with my older sister. I don't know where I would get one though, and Idk what to get a tattoo of. If anyone can, please let me know what you think would look good to get, or what would be sexy. Also, if you can, please let me know where you think it is best to get one at, or where they look really good on people. I've never gotten one before, but if any of you have ever gotten one before, or know someone who has can you please let me know whether it hurts really badd or not? I can take pain pretty much. I only have my ears and bellybutton pierced, so I'm sure I should be able to get a tattoo. Alright, if you can please give me some ideas of what to get!!!! Thank you so much!!!! I believe you have to have your parents permission if your under 18. My brother owns a tattoo shop so I can tell you a little about it, lol. I'm not really sure what to tell you to get though. They should have drawings of what tattoos they can do up on the walls and in books and stuff at the tattoo parlor, so when you go you can choose what you want. Don't get one on your ankle, I've heard those hurt alot. Maybe on your lower back (I know a few girls who've done that) and they said it just stung a little. You can look up info about tattoos on yahoo and that will probably help you out alot.

A friend of mine with very, VERY, ginger hair is thinking of dying it his hair black. We agree that the colour would suit him, but what product should we use to make sure it's fully covered?
And how long would it be before the roots started to show and he'd have to re-dye?

My friend did this about two months ago.. her hair is very ginger colored and she dyed it dark brown. It looked good except now it's fading back to her orange color. But I guess any hair color would be good to do it with. When his roots start growing back he can buy this stuff they have out now that colors just your roots.

I currently attend a small private school and am going to a huge public school for high school. I'm really shy, and worried that I won't make any friends. Does anyone have any specific tips for friend-making without being annoyingly outgoing? Thanks!

Just be yourself. Trust me... it works, lol. I started a new school in August and I'm really shy so I was worried that I wouldn't have any friends, but I met a few people on my first day that are still my friends now. I hope you make some new friends soon. =)

I'm 14 and I've never had a boyfriend. Usually it doesn't really bother me but I've seen so many couples who are younger than me and it makes me feel so sad and worthless. Don't feel so bad, I'm almost 16 and I've never had a boyfriend or been kissed either. There's been guys that have liked me or whatever but they never asked me out. But don't put yourself down! I feel like I'm ugly at times, and I'm pretty shy too - I hate doing projects and stuff in front of the class, but if I'm around my friends I talk to them and all. Since there's a guy you like, why don't you hang out with him and show him you aren't immature like your friends are? He might just end up liking you. This boy that I like just started talking to me recently and we're getting along pretty good. It's like we've been friends the 8 months we've known of each other, lol. You should be able to send them to your email, that's how I get mine. But I'm not sure how they do that on Samsung because I have a LG, lol. They might also sell USB cords at the store you got it from that you can use to hook from your phone to computer and transfer like that. I'm not sure how much they cost though.

I am 13/f, 14 in july, but i took a baby-stting class for 2 days at a saint francis hospital...well now that i have done that, i dont know what to do! i mean theres like nobody i can babysit! anybody know a site that i can go to thats like a teen babysitting line or soemthing haha!?!?

You could go to stores and post flyers that say you babysit... or you could have your parents ask some of their friends if they ever need a babysitter. Hopefully you'll find someone soon!

Hey , I have a question. I have this like lump sort of thing inside of my breast. I'm not sure what it is. I don't think that it is breast cancer.. but I really don't know what else it could be. Help please! I'm freaked out.

I don't know what it could be either. You should tell your mom and have her take you to the doctor to get it checked out. You need to find out what it is and make sure it isn't something serious.

my fingernails are pretty long...but VERY thin! everytime i go to do something they either break or bend easy! i want hard findernails and not for them to bend as easy anymore...does anyone know how i can do this?

They sell this polish like stuff at drug stores that help make your nails stronger... you could buy some of that. I don't really know any other ways though, lol. Good luck! =)

my parents are divorced and it seems that all my friends have a very happy family. i cant help but feel theres something wrong with me...why cant i have a perfect family and perfect life like everyone else? what have i done wrong!??!

You haven't done anything wrong, it was your parent's choice to split up. Over half the marriages in the US end in divorce nowadays, so just think how many others feel like you. =/ And no one's family is perfect really, lol. Maybe you can try to have good times with your family even though your parents are split up. You could have a good day with your dad one day and a good day with your mom the next. Just because they're split up doesn't mean you can't have a happy family.

Aww, don't feel bad. I'm almost sixteen and I've never had a boyfriend at all. But I don't think there's really something special to look for in a guy. All girls have different things they look for. I don't even really know what I look for, lol. And I guess when you find the right guy you just know somehow... like I said I wouldn't really know. But good look in finding a good boyfriend. =)

i've been getting my period since april 04 and i got it on the 24th for april may june july and august. i didnt get it september but octor 2nd. now its november 5th and i still didnt get it. this is really messed up! what do i do because i dont know when to expect it and i'm sick of wearing dark jeans all the time. thx-very self conscious

This has happened to everyone before, even me. I got mine Jan - June or July and I didn't get it again until October. It's nothing to worry about.

how do you get rid of back cramps when your in your period???

Take some advil, or midol, they both help. I've never tried midol before, so I mostly use advil & it works okay.
