Apply Aloe to the affected area. it can be from an aloe plant where you just rip it off and put some on or this bottle of aloe that you can buy from the store. this may sound strange but after each use from the bottled aloe formula put it in the fridge and then it will feel soothing cause itz cold. and apply sunscreen whenever you go out. Eventually it will heal. ♥ Peachgirly

I find that an aloe vera gel is really good for sun burn, also a cool bath and light cotton clothing, try taking paracetamol if you have a temperature (if you can take it)
Hope this helps

You can't MAKE a sunburn go away - it'll go away in time. But putting aloe gel or a mixture of vinegar and water in the shower on the burn will make it feel a lot better.

Put that green gooey stuff on. Sorry but I forgot what its called. But it has aloe in it and it makes your sunburn feel better and go away. So find something with aloe.

Put aftersun lotion on the affected areas. Look for ones that contain aloe vera, and apply liberally. It can also help if you put the lotion in the fridge for half an hour or so before you apply it, so it's extra cool on your skin. This should help cool down the burning so it's not as sore, and help prevent too much flaking. This should help you feel more comfortable, but the redness just needs time to heal. Vitamins, if you don't take them already, can help your skin heal more quickly, but again, the main thing is just time.

well this may sound stupid but put vinegar on it it takes away the sting in the sunburn it works everytime i have sunburn my mom puts vingegar on it and it makes it feel better leave it alone because you don't want it to start peeling that would be bad.
just put vinegar on it and leave it alone everything will be fine.

Daisy answered Sunday May 15 2005, 4:49 am:
God, is it really hot with you?! I wish it was here! The best thing is to have a hot shower or burn. It sounds really weird but my mum has been telling us to do this for years and it really works. Have a hot shower or bath takes the burn away. You then need to put after sun lotion or aloe vera lotion on wherever you are burnt. NOT moisturiser as that will keep the heat in. Use this for the first day and then the next day use moisturiser. If the sunburn is quite bad then use loads of moisturiser as then it will help prevent you from peeling. Hope I have helped a little
