Hey guys,
I'm 14/f and I'm going to be turning 15 on May 18th, so I was going to see if I could get a tattoo with my older sister. I don't know where I would get one though, and Idk what to get a tattoo of. If anyone can, please let me know what you think would look good to get, or what would be sexy. Also, if you can, please let me know where you think it is best to get one at, or where they look really good on people. I've never gotten one before, but if any of you have ever gotten one before, or know someone who has can you please let me know whether it hurts really badd or not? I can take pain pretty much. I only have my ears and bellybutton pierced, so I'm sure I should be able to get a tattoo. Alright, if you can please give me some ideas of what to get!!!! Thank you so much!!!! I'll rate you a 5 if you atleast try to answer.

The stem of it like wraps around her ankle and it looks really good. I was with her when she got it and it bleeds a lot but it didn't seem like it hurt her that badly and she's not that good with pain. I don't know where you live so I don't know anyone who's good in your area. Sorry I couldn't be more help

I'm not really sure what to tell you to get though. They should have drawings of what tattoos they can do up on the walls and in books and stuff at the tattoo parlor, so when you go you can choose what you want. Don't get one on your ankle, I've heard those hurt alot. Maybe on your lower back (I know a few girls who've done that) and they said it just stung a little. You can look up info about tattoos on yahoo and that will probably help you out alot. [ xo_underneath's advice column | Ask xo_underneath A Question ]

Or look at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), which also has a lot of tattoo galleries, as well as personal stories about getting tattooed.
Whether or not a tattoo hurts is a relative question. It feels different to different people. My tattoo felt like an annoying burning feeling that hurt just a little bit. It made me light headed and sick to my stomach. My husband has four tattoos, and he smiles and talks while he gets them, and feels very little pain at all. My best friend cried through her tattoo. So, like I said, it depends on the person.
Getting a tattoo feels nothing like getting a piercing, because piercings are over with so quickly, and the needle is only in one place. A tattoo generally takes between half an hour and three hours. But it can be shorter or longer depedning on your design. [ cailoisa's advice column | Ask cailoisa A Question ]
Daisy answered Sunday May 1 2005, 7:32 am: I'm not sure if you have to be 16 or not to have one? One thing I would definitely recommend is if you are going to get one make it small in case you don't like it. Also have it somewhere where if, in a few years you don't like it you can cover it up. Good places are on your knicker line, just lower and to the right or left of your belly button, and at the bottom of your back [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]
