MedicatedSanity answered Friday November 12 2004, 7:47 pm: Midol. Tylenol. Advil. any kind of pain medicine, but or "Women's Tylenol". Anything specifically marked for women or pain or both. Ask your parents to buy you some. Also take a bath... your period stops when you are in water, so baths can be relieving. For some people heat pads work. snowwalker69 answered Friday November 5 2004, 9:56 pm: I always find that taking deep breaths, drinking water, taking walks, long, hot baths, and using a water bottle works. Tylenol or Advil works great too. Also, sleeping helps a bit. [ snowwalker69's advice column | Ask snowwalker69 A Question ]

Siren_Cytherea answered Tuesday November 2 2004, 10:59 pm: I take tylenol, but that's cause I can't take strong meds. Heating pads, or hot bubble baths. Heat, heat, heat. Heat helps relax muscles. Walking helps too, if you have the energy, and drinking water - warm or room temp water, though. I dunno about you, but cold always makes my cramps worse.
I hope this helps!

EMiLYELiZABETH answered Tuesday November 2 2004, 10:17 pm: I use Advil and those air activated heat patches. They are the best things ever!! Either those, or the patches that are menthol, they numb your back. You can get them at Wal*Mart. Good luck!!
xxxxxx answered Tuesday November 2 2004, 3:13 pm: ibuprofen. take walks/exercise. DRINK WATER, believe it or not we learned in health class that drinking water relieves cramps because cramps are involuntary spasms of muscles, and the nutrients in water can help relieve the spasms. something like that, i don't know the details because i don't pay attention. but i know it should help somewhat! panther_grl03 answered Tuesday November 2 2004, 12:59 pm: Take a nice hot bath and relax. You'll feel better soon enough. There is also a medication called Midol. If you can get it, that will help too.
