Ginger
A friend of mine with very, VERY, ginger hair is thinking of dying it his hair black. We agree that the colour would suit him, but what product should we use to make sure it's fully covered?
And how long would it be before the roots started to show and he'd have to re-dye?

Ginger is like a medium brown I am guessing so get a coloring kit meant for meduim to dark hair. If he wants it to last for awhile get the permanent stuff, which lasts for 6 months. They also have semi-permenant coloring which lasts for 28 shampoos... ore more depending on how dark the hair turns out.

My friend did this about two months ago.. her hair is very ginger colored and she dyed it dark brown. It looked good except now it's fading back to her orange color. But I guess any hair color would be good to do it with. When his roots start growing back he can buy this stuff they have out now that colors just your roots.

Hi, The roots come through really soon. Its not a really great idea if you have ginger hair because once the roots start coming through it looks awful! So if your really willing to do it them You will need a really dark colour. Search on google hair dyes and see what its comes up with.
