A friend of mine with very, VERY, ginger hair is thinking of dying it his hair black. We agree that the colour would suit him, but what product should we use to make sure it's fully covered?
And how long would it be before the roots started to show and he'd have to re-dye?

It looked good except now it's fading back to her orange color. But I guess any hair color would be good to do it with. When his roots start growing back he can buy this stuff they have out now that colors just your roots. [ xo_underneath's advice column | Ask xo_underneath A Question ]

Its not a really great idea if you have ginger hair because once the roots start coming through it looks awful! So if your really willing to do it them You will need a really dark colour. Search on google hair dyes and see what its comes up with.
