xoxoPrettyNPinkxoxo answered Sunday May 1 2005, 8:00 pm: You have to leave in the earrings for about 6-8 weeks. And don't forget to twist them everyday and clean them with rubbing alcohol or else they will get infected...and you don't want that!
yOor_sOo_FABULOUS answered Sunday May 1 2005, 6:55 pm: When my friend got her ears pierced she had to keep them on from around 6 weeks. You have to keep them in for that long otherwise it'll close up.

Cj answered Sunday May 1 2005, 5:18 pm: you can change them whenever you feel like.
here is how.
everyday: you take out the ear ring and wash both the ear ring and your ear in alcohol.
at any point in time you can swtich the ring.just make sure you clean the ring in alcohol before you use it.just dont leave your ear ringless for more than a few minutes. do this alcohol treatment thing for 1 month.
your ear will not seal back up. and the alcohol prevents it from getting infected. [ Cj's advice column | Ask Cj A Question ]
mmctrue answered Sunday May 1 2005, 5:09 pm: it takes about 6 to 8 weeks for your ears to get used to the earings. So leave them in for about 7 weeks. clean them 3 times everyday so they don't get infected ok.
Teza answered Sunday May 1 2005, 4:55 pm: You should keep them in for about 6 weeks before you change them. Make sure you take it out once in a while to clean the earings so it doesnt get infected. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
JazzY answered Sunday May 1 2005, 4:53 pm: You should keep the earings in for 6 to 8 weeks and clean them twice a day with rubbing alcohol or ear solution if you have any. It's also good to wear studs for the rest of the year or maybe even six months. Thats just what Claires told me when I got my ears pierced. You're welcome, by the way! :)

BabyGurl_1503 answered Sunday May 1 2005, 4:11 pm: I pierce my own ears a lot and my friends and since you asked, you can change them at anytime as long as you do it quick and don't leave your earings out for very long or else they'll close up but you can do it anytime, even on the first day. mrs_radcliffe answered Sunday May 1 2005, 4:10 pm: About 6 weeks. But to keep them open and not going all gunkey twist them around every 3 hours or so it will keep them from sticking to your ear lobe.
feverdancer03 answered Sunday May 1 2005, 3:44 pm: You need to leave them in about 4-6 weeks, and of course clean them regularly with the solution. if you take them out earlier then 4 weeks..you can get an infection. Hope i helped! [ feverdancer03's advice column | Ask feverdancer03 A Question ]
Karen answered Sunday May 1 2005, 3:37 pm: It takes about 6-8 weeks until you can change your earrings, after you pierce them, as a piercer would say. But after about a month, you can change them. Just keep on cleaning your two piercings and a month will go by fast. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
