Yesterday my friend pierced my ears. I was wondering how long I have to leave them in before I can change them? Thanks! (link)

My boyfriend (22) and I (20) have been together for over two years now and we've celebrated many holidays together. For my birthday, he got me a Dooney and Bourke purse and for Christmas, he bought me a Tiffany's bracelet! He has bought me many gifts that I have loved, and I thought this was great, because he knew my taste and what I would like!! I recently found out that his mom has been telling him what he should get me for these holidays. It kind of hurts my feelings because it makes me feel like he doesn't know me very well at all. He just goes to his mom to find out what he should get me. I have a feeling that someday, she's gonna pick out the ring he should propose to me with!! I hate this!! I want him to pick out this for me himself!! What should I do about this? (link)
well..... i think that hes asking his mom because he wants to get you the perfect gift and for you to not get mad at a crappy gift. but i'm sure he will pick out the ring.... he'll probally pick something good and big to impress you

I currently attend a small private school and am going to a huge public school for high school. I'm really shy, and worried that I won't make any friends. Does anyone have any specific tips for friend-making without being annoyingly outgoing? Thanks! (link)
You'll fit in just fine just think...your not the only new person the same thing is currently happening to me just make small talk find interests and you'll do fine

GOOD LUCK

Go for it! just hint on to him about your number or something just be with a friend and say don't forget to call tonight or something like that maybe taht will remind him and get a light going

My mom grew up in a family of singers, and currently I am also learning how to sing. This isn't the fun, free western pop music, but rigid Eastern music with a lot of rules and tone and pitch regulations. My mother is so attached to this Eastern music that if she's blaring this music in the car and I'm trying to do homework, if I ask her to turn it down she completely blows up at me. I don't really like this kind of music, but my mother has already told me that I cannot quit. The part I really don't like is when my mother starts to help me practice at my house with all the drills and stuff we do in class. She gets ticked off because I "sing the music mechanically- you need to put more life into it." I am in chorus at school and I simply adore it, but my mother won't let me switch to Western music. Is there any way I can get her to see my light or to help me cope with hearing this music everywhere I go? (link)
Well...did you ever tell your mom that you don't like Eastern music? That might help your situation a little bit...but maybe just sit down and talk with her and tell her that Western is the way you want to go and taht you know you will succeed in it
