acne + pro-active
ok i just got pro-active and i was wondering how long does it take 2 start seeing results?
and everyone always tells me such good stuff about it.. but has it NOT worked for anyone?! has anyone had any bad experiences with it. thanks!!

I use it too and it's done pretty good for me i mean it's just sumtimes i don't remember to put it on and then if your inconsistnent it doesn't work as fast because your not using it alot. Just out it on on mornings and nights and it will definately help i mean it can't hurt!!!

If you're allergic, which it sounds you are because if it hasnt worked yet then you're probably allergic. So, it will only make matters worse.
Hey, if alll else fails. Play connect the dots on your face and have it made into a tattoo. See if you can make your name or something. Something that will last you, and you wont get sick of.

ya i went on it & the problem with proactive is that it works for the acne already there mostly and it dosent completly eleminate acne. I went on acutane a 2 years ago for about 8 months i took the pill once a day & it worked I havent had another pimple since not even on my period & i have really oily skin also.

Yeah, I'm like the only person who it didn't work for, lol. I used it a few months and it didn't work much. It did a little at first but after that, it stopped. If you have acne, cut a lemon in half and rub it on the acne. Then wait like 5 - 10 minutes (it will burn, trust me lol) and wash it off. It works though. My face is alot clearer because I did that, and use Noxzema (I think lol) face wash.

It depends on your skin and how it will react to Proactiv. For me, I saw results in less than a week but for others, it may not work for them or they may not see results for weeks.
I have never had any bad experiences with it but my friend has. She used Proactiv for a few weeks; it cleared up her skin but her acne came back.
For most people, Proactiv does work but like I said, it depends on your skin.

I have Klear Action which is basically the same thing, and it usually takes about three days. But use it a few times a day, and follow the instructions. I find it causes severe flaking, so I usually stop and use something else (bag balm, specifically, for infections). It's very effective though and there are no real drawbacks except that Proactiv is pretty expensive. Klear Action can be found at any drug store or grocery store and is a lot cheaper, and like I said it's the exact same thing. Basically the only bad experience I've had is that it makes your skin dry...if that happens, it says on the package that you should stop using it for a while. I think it also caused me to get a few more zits, if that happens definitely stop. And don't depend only on Proactiv, you should wash your face with soap and hot water, use Mudd masques, bag balm works near-miracles, just put it on the acne every night before bed. It's awesome.

proactive just bleaches the blemishes or zits... then when you get older you might get discolorization on your face or bloches of bleached skin

pro-active is really good! you should start to see a difference in like at least 2 weeks. i use it and it keeps my face really clean. but the repaing lotion stuff burns if you put to much on. :) hope i've helped.

pro active is CRAP it eritated(sp?) my skin. i used the stuff for like 5 months and it just got worse. the shit dosent work get your money back.

That's funny how every one is spelling "Proactiv" as Proactive. Yes, it is spelt as Proactiv, check the web site ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)). Lol, sorry. Just had to mention that because I thought it odd that people using it wouldn't know how to spell it.
ANYWAY. At first, I didn't really use Proactiv regularly. I used it like...once a week and sometimes I'd forget and eventually I just forget completely. I didn't see any results in my pimples, but that was understandble because I wasn't even using it regularly. lol. But then I started using it everyday. Believe it or not, I felt like it had given me results even after the first day! The more I used it, the less pimples I had. For different people it varies because we all have different skin though, so I can't say.

I tried it once, it didnt work for me, but everyone has different skin types so it might for you. The time it will take to work depends on how bad your acne is, usually about 5 weeks to lil over 2 months. Maybe less. xox.

I had a bad experience. Everyone is always ranting and raving about how it's such a wonderful product, but it made my skin worse. I used it for <b>two months</b> and I didn't see any difference in my skin. The only difference I saw was I was getting more pimples. It really all depends on you though, it has seemed to work for alot of people but I guess it just doesn't work for everyone.

well i use proative. it didnt show any results at first. but a week or 2 later i started seeing somre results. so it does take some time keep trying because im hoping it does somming to.

i just got pro-active like 3 days ago lol. im kinda wondering the same thing; like how long it takes to see results, but im already seeing a *little* bit. Some of the acne that i had before is going away... sorry im not much help! >_<

Okay my stephanie had horrible acne... key word *HAD*.. well it took a couple days maybe less then a week for her to actually see results.. but i guess it could not work for certain people.. but just try it til you arent satisfied with the way your skin looks... much luv dez x0x0

I don't have acne, So I have never tried it.
Tons of people including celebrities use ProActive, So I am sure it works!
