okay well i straighten my hair everyday and it has really taken its tool on my bangs even though i use a ceramic straighter. my hair straigher said im just pulling on them too much(they are thin) when i straighten them. ive tried trimming them to get rid of the really fried ends but it seems like they never go away. like right after i trim them they look fried again

they look fine after i straighten them but within a few min then flick out and thats when they look really bad

i dont want to keep trimming them because i know they are just going to get shorter, not better

is there anything i can try on them to make them not look as fried that isnt more than $10

( i dont care if it will kill my hair more as long as it makes it look better)

if you read the magazine seventeen (17),the resent issure (it has the winner of the 17 show on the cover,she has braces) its going to tell you how stars make their hair healthy.But if you cant find 17 any where,oil treatments and also leave in conditioners will be good for this problem.You could go to a salon and ask about it,they would know more than most people on here.Did you no that you could get a reverse perm (so instead of curly hair,they straiten it...it lasts for a loonngg time to because of the chemicals.That might be too pricey though :(,also fruitics has a line for hair like yours.put down the straitener,and find some really awesome ways to style your hair! or maybe your straitener is getting old,so trry buying a new one

Black :pratically any color besides earth tones

i'm moving into a new house and I don't know what
color to paint my room!!!!!! Please Help. All the color quizzes I've taken say different things like I'm purple, gray, green and blue. Is there any true color test where it will really tell you what color you should paint your walls so you won't get annoyed etc. of it. Please I really need help

you know what is cute? Fushia,Turquios,Dark blue,and one white wall,then on the blue walls put silver moons,and get either a white or purple rug,or just hard wood floor,and a loft bed,its all sooo cute!try mixing some colors like the example i gave you to try it out *.^,sorry if i didnt give you good advice,i saw that display on cribs and it was sooo pretty!

I want to create a calm atmosphere for my new room. What are some key elements? placement of furniture, and colors that can help me relax.

either a paradise island theme,or,you could paint your walls a periwinkle blue,or very light blue,get white funiture and a round shaped bed (dont know where to find a round-shaped bed? go to ikea.com,click on where ever you are from,im guessing the U.S,go to beds,but if you cant find the round bed,a sofa-bed if good for a blue room,and if you go to beds >single bed frames>the first one will give you a very cute beach-bed theme!) Oh by the way,if you get a small room,a loft bed [a bunk bed but with out the bottom bed] seems more practical ^.^ lets see...dont like blue? or paradise theme? well, to tell you the truth,blue might make if boring,a light green or even light orange makes it relxing.Accessories,hanging lights and really vintage,or even modern things that focus around the room make it all fit,and beautiful! Lastly,i would find a corner in the room,and make the bed slant out of the corner, (like its pulling you into the room,then get a canopy thing to drape it over) vualaa! i hope i gave you some good ideas ^.^

hey, is there any way of applying eye make-up that make the eyes look:

1.more oval
2.less droopy and more upward slating \ /

also could the way you shape your eyebrows affect this and if so please can i have some tips.

well actually,yes there is a way to make it - 1,2.The 3rd and 4th have to do with the make up on your face,the shape,the features,the blush and foundation..im not exactly sure about 3 and 4 because i never wanted to do that with my eyes :) 1-its all about the tecnique(sp?) in how you use your eyeliner-i tried looking on google,but no websites could be found of how to do this,hey,you can always experiment though! ^.^. 2 is a definate yes. You can buy products to do that,but you want to do it with makeup,so this depends on how you apply eyeshadow i dont know much about this,but i'll tell you what i do know, - ex-it you whant to use eyeshawdow to make your eyes pop(or more awake)--Since you didn't specify your eye color, there are a few rules of thumb. Makeup artist Bobbi Brown has been quoted as saying that you don't want to "fight" your own eye color or draw attention to your shadow - you want to pull attention to your own shade. Thus, lilac, lavender, and hues of brown (such as camel and taupe) will make blue eyes appear more blue rather than a blue in the same shade as your pupils. Green or hazel eyes follow the principle of "complimentary colors;" pinks, deep mauves, lavenders, rich plums, and eggplant shades will cause the green or hazel to appear more vibrant. Brown eyes are the easiest to complement; any color lighter or darker than your own brown will attract attention to your brown, even tints of brown itself. For standout brown eyes, choose shades in blue, steel blue/gray, plum,pink, and eggplant.,which really will make them seem awake,and applying it NOT just all over your eye,but kind of in an oval way,makes them have an upward slant more so.This can also treat the more oval look you are looking for.And its a fact -- Arched eyebrows give you a more awake and upward facial look.remember-your eyebrows define your face.I suggeset get them profesionally done at a spa,and tell them you'd like and arch shape if you have enough eye brow to do it.If you dont have enough eyebrow to do that,pencil always works,and using clear mascara for an eyebrow gel is good to keep it in place so they dont mess up. i dont noe wat to do anymore. my mom is really over protective but she's not at the same time. for example, she will let me walk around @ the mall with people and she won't follow me but when i go home, she sits by me on AIM, and is constantly checking my myspace and adding friends, and leaving them comments and asking people to comment on me.

i already tried talking to her. I tried talking to her in every way possible. I tried mean, i tried nice, i tried it all. i even tried writing her a letter, but nothing works. im 15 years old and i need my privacy. please help me!

hmmmmm,this is difficult,and talking doesnt work,letters dont work..okay,do you have a cell phone? ask for one if you dont,but if you do,then i suggest talking to your friends on your cell (well,my plan is sprint,free on weekends and after 7:00 pm on week days) so that way she cant figure out what your doing as easily,she does want you to be safe,but god...she cant be like...your best friend and hang out with you friends! so,i'd say,if you havent already,on aim,tell your friends what "pos" which means -person over sholder.That way they know that your being watched.and i suggest maybe putting up a website like bored.com or something like that while your on aim so if you know shes looking just click on the site.Also,if shes right next to the computer,turn the screen where she cant see if you can.Maybe a labtop can be a christmas present?Ask if you can make another desk top,and make a password of it.I think you should get a New myspace and dont tell her it,and delete the friends and things you have on the one she thinks your useing,so she'll get bored of it.This might be weird but maybe..i think you should hang out with her just a little,when your not doing anything,maybe hint to her how you DO NOT want her to control you or your friends! just think though,you'll be driving soon :)!maybe hint that your responsable,and if shes really getting on your nerves,dont just talk it out,but tell her not in a mean way but like "mom !! i just need some time to myself right now i'll talk to you later and tell you how my day went soon okay?" Try asking for a lock on your bed room door if you dont have one already :) It seems that she trusts you,or shes pretending to act like she does,and trys to get info about you on the computer.Or she really is but shes afraid that your not really "going to the mall" and wants to see what your really doing. this is what i say to my mom when she does this to me (example)
My mom:Hey what are you doing?
ME: im online talking to my friends
My mom : Who?
Me: just people from school..makeing plans you know
My mom : What plans?
Me: i'll tell you later or something

if she keeps interrigating you,or silently watches you,just tell her to stop.Also tell her your not trying to be the boss or anything like that,and tell her your going to keep your friends no matter what nothing she does will keep her away.I hope i gave you tips if i didnt tell me i'll ask my sister about this cause thats what happend to her,unfortunatly shes not here right now

hey,if you really,truly love someone,you'll know they love you back,im not going to say "dump him" or " you dont actually love him " or something like that,because,love means so many things to many different people,that..its impossible to really know if they love you or not,i suggest thinking to your self,asking yourself these questions--
Has he told me he loves me?
Does he pay attension to me often?
Can i tell him anything,and can he tell me anything?
Do we hang out all the time,or talk online/on the phone for some time with out being a silent/shy person?
How old are you?
Do you love him enough to call him all the time?

theres so many questions,ask those to yourself,you should find out if he really loves you,or if its just a fling,and you'll maybe relize things you havent yet? im not sure,but hey,try it out anyway good luck and i hope it works out!

I am a good writer and I LOVE writing shor stories. I am 13/f. I was looking for a new topic to write about but no one has any ideas. I like writing about reality... meaning I don't like to write fantasies. For example, I don't write about dwarfs, dragons, elves, etc. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had a summary or something of something yall have heard or something so I can turn it into a story. Hey!! well,something cool might be two friends lives,living far distances away but they both feel like something is missing,or theres another person just like them,there not twins or sisters,but there the best of friends or something like that,maybe add some mystery story of a missing person ex "she was sky diving with me and when i went to go meet her she was never that,we looked for timeless,endless hours and found not even a sent of where she had gone" while the girl actually thinks everythings normal,she landed into an alternate demention,sorry i got carried away,i like interesting things like that,but if you want it to be more real just try to make up a girl soon-to-be atress or famous person and tell how it was or what happend,these all can be about boys also :) ,or also just write a drama-comedy about a girl.I hope someday you become a famous writer! never stop writeing ! When I'm older, I want to go into dancing.
I get this joy out of dancing that I don't get out of anything else, it just makes everything that's going wrong in my life leave me for those few hours a day that I'm dancing.

I've stopped going out as much and being on the street most of the night just so I can stay home and dance and I want to do it professionally but if I want to, the best thing to do is start early, right?

I've been dancing on my own ever since I can remember but I have no possibiltys of going to classes because they're too far from my town and too expensive.

Is there anything I can do?
I won't be able to do anything with my dancing skills if I don't go to proper classes.

hmmmm,well,you could get some agent to help you find places that they are looking for people to dance,what im doing when i get older is going to an acting/singing collage where my abilities can be seen to some directors and even famous agents!yes,try to start as early as you can!! talk to all the people you can find,try out for everything,so even if you dont get the part,people will know your name,its hard to do but keep trying,keep trying no matter what!!

im not sure if there still playing but i know they didnt break up.. Blue Oyster Cult..love there songs..also maybe nirvanna,there is a rock station on the radio right? classic rock? and i have comcast so if you look in where they have the music stations (well..its in the 500's in massachusetts,but i dont even know if you have it,or where you live :p) but they're might be some stuff there. Try looking on your tv for channels like that.Also there is -- Van Halen,Boston,Heart,and Yes. maybe you could look into those also,good luck!!

what is the best kind of straightener?

ive had 2 different brands and both of them have at some point stopped heating up (the light goes on, so i know the power is on)
the first kind i had was a ceramic tools and the second was a vidal sassoon.

any ideas why they keep dying on me? and suggestions for a good ceramic straightener?

I use ceramic conair and it never dies on me,its really good. Maybe the outlit is to good,because that happend to me and my dryer,and the outlit didnt work good. but if not i really have no clue! sorry :(

My friend played a joke on me and I know she was kidding..but I took it too seriously.I yelled at her in class..and then she was trying to talk to me after school but I ignored her and got in my car..I feel so horrible but I'm still mad..What should I do?

okay well like my friend (lets call her Kelly), well i though kelly was my best friend, and she was for a few years, but she knew other people in this other town and started hanging out there ALL the time and met this girl (lets call her linda) and linda and kelly became like BEST FRIENDS .. and now kelly barely like wants to hang out with me and like when i ask kelly to hang out she avoids the subject and then a day later i find out she avoided the subject cuz she already had plans with linda.
but sometimes i ask her to hang out first before she has any plans but then linda asks her to hang out AFTER i asked her and she said to me .. "sorry i cant go" and she hung out wit linda.
and now i have no plans for halloween this year cuz i got in a fight with my other bestfriend and now kelly is spending halloween with linda.
no one cares about my feelings and people push me around and i have no confidence and i cant really stand up for myself so i just kinda let people walk all over me.

Well,just becuase she wants to have friends with other people isnt bad..but still she shouldnt be doing that to you.I know its hard to tell her,but you have to try!If you only have those two friends,i'd make sure you become friends with the one you had a fight with.This is weird cause i feel like im ur friend that is hanging out with linda..but i would never do that to someone.Who knows,maybe linda and her were best friends for a long time,and still are or something.Yes,still consider as one of your best friends,you know she is still your friend shes just meeting new people,maybe you should to but still keep friends with her.

I bet maybe 1 girl doesnt like you,,and then those girls that didnt go did turn on you because they are following the girl that didnt like you maybe?Or maybe they were fake,they could be pretending to like you.Thats what happend to me,thats how i can tell real from fake now.keep your other 12 friends,maybe test the girls that didnt go to see if they care.what i did was maybe not ignore them,but not talk to them for about 2 days and see if they talk to you first.Try getting to meet new people,and be really nice to people,like new people.Be out going and fun around the new people,but dont forget about your other 12 friends :p.The girls that didnt go to the party will soon realize how much they miss you and how good of a friend you are!!But when they do,dont ignore them,be nice.maybe bring up a conversation (example)- You :So what did you on sat-sunday? I am much of a procrastinator, & I have this biology test tomorrow. I didn't start studying yet (its 8:45 PM) & I am so bad at studying and remembering things. Does anyone have any good & helpful study tips? Thank youuuu.

ok, what i do is try to think of things that i know i can remember,and try to combine it with the thing i have to remember.

One Thing i Have to remember for my states and capitals test of the united states --

Capital - Cheyanne

So i think...Cheyanne lives in Wisconson..and i did that to all the states. so maybe for biology..try to do something like that!

Rewriteing notes really helps,becuase when u write something,you remember it better.Flash Cards are awesome also :),Self quiz your self as well.And,stay up no later than 10:30,because good sleep is what you really need also to prepare
