Colors Colors Everywhere
i'm moving into a new house and I don't know what
color to paint my room!!!!!! Please Help. All the color quizzes I've taken say different things like I'm purple, gray, green and blue. Is there any true color test where it will really tell you what color you should paint your walls so you won't get annoyed etc. of it. Please I really need help

I don't know about any tests, but since you are unsure of what color you like or what would be best for your room, you sound like a cool color person. Cool colors make a peaceful atmosphere.
Warm or bright colors, especially in a bedroom, could make you get annoyed and restless. It depends on your personality though. Decide your favorite color, then see if it would be apropriate for a bedroom. After that, create a color scheme that compliments your wall color. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

you know what is cute? Fushia,Turquios,Dark blue,and one white wall,then on the blue walls put silver moons,and get either a white or purple rug,or just hard wood floor,and a loft bed,its all sooo cute!try mixing some colors like the example i gave you to try it out *.^,sorry if i didnt give you good advice,i saw that display on cribs and it was sooo pretty!

hey there, one of my friends painted her room lime green, purple, pink, and light blue. it was really cute and she got a bunch of stuff from urban outfitters, i sugest you check it out cuz the stuff they have is so cute for rooms and stuff, well hope i helped

Are you a really happy and energetic person? If so, paint it something bright. Like I'm that type of person so my room is bring orange with bright things. If you are the calm type, you could have lavander, olive greens. Then try to match things with it and make it the way you like it.

Think of what kind of mood or atmosphere you want your room to have. If you choose a darker color the room will, well, it'll be dark. Pastels are the way to go. A yellow pastel, I think is the best color for a room because it really brightens everything up. If you don't want your room to be quite so happy, a blue or purple pastel would probably have a very calming effect. Green would look good if you have a lot of green stuff in your room, like a green blanket on your bed or a green rug, but otherwise it may look kind of funny. If you're not sure, I'd go with the light purple or blue pastel. That'll look really good. I hope I helped and good luck!

well i dont really know any sites off hand but you should pick a colour that reflects off of you . for example : if you want your room to be calm and tranquill, then maybe go for a soft blue or light aqua and lavender . but if you want a more loud and volumized room go for a bright yellow or hot pink . its up to you and its all on what you want . have funn with your new room !!
