Writing a Story
O.K.
I am a good writer and I LOVE writing shor stories. I am 13/f. I was looking for a new topic to write about but no one has any ideas. I like writing about reality... meaning I don't like to write fantasies. For example, I don't write about dwarfs, dragons, elves, etc. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had a summary or something of something yall have heard or something so I can turn it into a story. Much appreciation.

How about a story about a typical highschool. Since you'll soon be going to one, it would be nice to write what you think a highschool is.

- A girl who has been raped/abused and she can no longer trust men
- Someone who is having family problems, can't escape, maybe his/her mother hits them and they're getting weaker by the day
- A diary of you but exaggerate i.e. make someone up and describe how he looks and develop into a love story
- Two people trapped in a love triangle

Hey!! well,something cool might be two friends lives,living far distances away but they both feel like something is missing,or theres another person just like them,there not twins or sisters,but there the best of friends or something like that,maybe add some mystery story of a missing person ex "she was sky diving with me and when i went to go meet her she was never that,we looked for timeless,endless hours and found not even a sent of where she had gone" while the girl actually thinks everythings normal,she landed into an alternate demention,sorry i got carried away,i like interesting things like that,but if you want it to be more real just try to make up a girl soon-to-be atress or famous person and tell how it was or what happend,these all can be about boys also :) ,or also just write a drama-comedy about a girl.I hope someday you become a famous writer! never stop writeing ! (which i know you wont :) )

If you're into like depressing stories, you could write about a girl that is really depressed and cuts herself, a young gay couple aged 15 and 16 that kill eachother because no one accepts them (This actually happened though).
If you don't want anything THAT depressing and morbid, why not do like a spoof of the Notebook or something? Write about young love, heartbreak, friendship, etc.

Maybe you should write about (this is something that happened to me) three friends and they always get into fights but they always are friends again and they get mad about everything!

How about a story about a collage student trying out for a sport with low grades. Her parents won't let her join if they dont get their grades up. While going to the tryouts she gets in a carcrash. Think of some more stuff to pt into that topic and if i think of anything else ill comment again. Good Luck!

ok you can turn my life into a story but keep me posted on the final copy LOL ok so here goes i lived in the same house all my life then when i was 10 i moved to this small icky town of cows LOL j/k at first it was hard now i have lots of friends i horseback ride and i dance (tap and hiphop)so yeah im not popular, not a geek not wicked skinny not fat im nice to people im in love with all cute guys. i lead a pretty boring life so add a twist to it for me and then IM me Xxrider129 if you need any more good luck hehehe

Writers are observers. Many times a story will develop from simply watching and listening to people.
Exercise: Read through some of the questions on this website. Look for a question that has been briefly and vaguely described. Try to fill in all the missing details, and you will find yourself telling a story.

Wow. Now I know you might not find this appealing, but writing about an everyday highschool girl's life could be highly entertaining. The drama of the problem with the friends, her attempt to tell her crush that she's madly in love with him, the family life.
Use your imagination. It could be terribly awesome. =D
