Its my first time using one and well Im confused. When I put it in is the plastic supposed to come off? Does it feel weird? Can I take a shower with it in? And how long do I have to wait until I change it? Thanks!!
yes the plastic does come off. it might feel weird your first time. (usually it will only feel weird if you put it in wrong, have it in too far, or if its not in enough). yes, you can take a shower with it in. you can swim, bathe, run, play sports, dance, sit, lay, stand, crawl, jump, jog. you can do just about whatever you want while wearing a tampon. as far as changing it goes- well that all depends on the size of the tampon and the flow of your period. you should change it atleast every four to six hours. if your flow is heavier you may need to change it sooner. but like i said that all depends on your flow and the size of the tampon.
if you are confused about anything, read the pamphlet in the box. it will give you answer to most commonly asked questions, tell you how to insert it, tell you when to change it, tell you what size tampon will be good for your flow, tells you the risk of leaving them in too long, tells you EVERYTHING you will need/want to know.

I really want to get my fake nails taken off. Does anyone know how you can remove them other than chipping them off and going to the nail place (not an option as of this moment)?
pour some nail polish remover in a bowl or in the sink and soak your hands/nails in it for a while. perferably acetone. acetone will wokr better but non actone will work also, just not as quickly. it will soften the acrylic and after a while of soaking it will become peelable.
if you dont want to do that, then try taking one of your other nails or a pin or some thing along those lines and go under neath the nail and try lifting them off. starting on the side at the bottom (near cuticles) of the nail is usually easiest. but if you find a way that you think is easier then go on right ahead and do it. (some people might think this is a painful way of taking them off, i how ever have never had any troubles doing it this way. it was just a suggestion though.)

all depends on your situation. if you are still attending some sort of schooling, then you can still be on your parents health insurance. if you are an independent 18 yr old and are own you own, not attending school, and have a job, you need to your own health insurance. hope this helps.

Ok, I'm 15/f and I was with this guy for 2 months. Well he starting trying to pressure me to have sex with him. And I know this probably sounds stupid but I really wasn't ready to go that far. I know that a lot of other girls have had sex but I just wasn't ready for it yet. So anyway one night we were hanging out and he started to ask me to have sex with him again. I said no and I tried to explain why and make him understand. Well he seemed to understand and I thought that everything was ok. He brought me a drink of water and then I started to feel weird. The next thing I know I'm waking up next to him and now I'm pregnant. My friend said that he probably gave me a drug or something so I would have sex with him. I really don't know and I don't know what to do now. Did he rape me? And what should I do about the pregnancy?
yes honey, he raped you. it is known as date rape. he most likely gave you a datre rape drug. you need to consult your parents and le tthem know what happened. you should also call the cops and press charges against him. you need to file a report on him. one thing you should also do is go get tested for the drug he drugged you with. so if you really do go through with pressing charges and you will be able to take this to the courts, then you will have evidence that you had been drugged. also you might want to get checked for std's while your at all of this. who knows what he could of had. as far as what you should do with the baby, that is 100% your decision. sit down and discuss it with your parents and let them know what you want to do. let them know that you need them there to help support your decision. if you are against abortion, and you arent ready to be a mother, give him/her up for adoption. if you still want to have the baby around, but not have the legal custody of the child, then maybe you could talk to your parents about adopting him/her. as the mother of the child, you can have the say as to who you wish to give him/her up to. if you go to an adoption agency and tell them you wish to meet with the people or family that is going to adopt them, then you have that right. (atleast in some places you are granted that right). so you might want to check into that. you can abort the baby, carry him/her through nine months of pregnancy then give him/her up for adoption, or you can carry him/her through nine months of pregnancy and keep him/her, raise him/her, and bring him/her up. if you decide to keep the baby, maybe your parents could help support you and the baby. also try to get child support off of the father and his family. because he is not 18 yet, the court will either rule his parents to pay for him until he is 18, or the will rule him that he has to get a job to support you. if they rule that he will have to get a job, they will give him so much time to find one and start working. if he fails to comply with any rulings the judge makes, he can be locked up for it. it is possible that he will not be locked up for raping you. if this happens he will be sent to sex counseling where he will have to put in so many hours. and yes, this happens. i have seen it before with one of my friends. just thought to let you know ahead of time that this sort of thing could happen. it is a possibilty that it may happen, not a guarentee.
babe, i am sorry you had to be put through all of this. it is a terrible thing to go through. bt it happens to alot of girls. most arent as brave as others. most girls think that it was something they did and that it wasnt that big of a deal. others may be just too afraid to say something. and they end up letting the guy get away with it. just be brave and stay strong for yourself. you can do this. and when you do, will will feel better about this, knowing that you will have done something about it.

Yeah.. its a papsmear. and it is an exam given by a gyno. it is just to check and make sure everything is ok with a female. it tests to make sure you dont have any abnormalities such as cervical cancer. it is such a sample of cell that they get from the cervics. they get the sample and test it. doesnt take long to have done... less than a minute for your sample. you should get this exam atleast once a year. It drives me insane that he doesn't like me. I love him so much, no matter what I say. Even when we argue and I say I hate him. Deep down, I still love him. I wish these feelings would go away, I really do. I feel like I'm too young, and I don't really know what love truly is. But all I think about is him. I can never get him off my mind. Every song I hear reminds me of him. I just can't take the fact that he doesn't like me, and knowing that I can't have him makes me want him more. And just whenever he talks to other girls, it makes me jealous that it isn't me he's talking to. I try to make it stop, but I can't. I don't even want to like him because I know it will never happen. Which kills me. People say it's just a crush. But a crush isn't like this, I have had many crushes before and this is NOTHING like those. I care about him more than I do myself. Which is pretty bad. i am in a similar situation right now. i cant have the person i want and it will prolly never happen. the difference between my situation and yours-- is that me and him talk (all the time), we are friends(actually pretty good ones too), and even though we both like each other in some ways, it will never end up us together. i know how hard it can be to want to be want someone that you cant have. and trust me, it does usually always seem to make it feel like you want them even more because of that fact. but babe, the truth is.. you cant make him like you. im sorry. it isnt that simple. the only advice i can give you is to just be friends with him. atleast you'll have him in your life as a friend, rather than not having him at all. i know it may be hard to do, but in the end it will be worth it.
