well..i'm guessing there are different versions. when i played, everyone sat in chairs in a circle. one person goes first, and goes up to someone of their choice, sits on their lap and puts their arms around them and says, "Honey, if you love me, please smile!?". Their goal is to keep a straight face. If they accomplish this, then the person has to sit on another person's lap. If a person does not keep a straight face, it's their turn to sit on someone's lap!
hope i helped <3 ]
Its when a group sits in a circle and then the first person who decides to go picks a person and then tries to make that person laugh by saying "honey if you love me, smile" and you can say it however you want. Its kinda fun actually.

GO up to the person. Say 'honey if you love me smile'. If they dont smile, you rub yourself all over them until they smile. Doing the dirtiest things you can possilby do of course! ]
it is a game where two people are sitting looking at each other. and if you like/love the person your lookin at then you smile. but the object is to get someone real random you dont like to be the one infront of you. you sit there he/she does stuff to try and get you to love as they say the line : honey if you love me, smile. there objective is to get you to smile while yours is to keep a straight face. try to keep a straight face whoile replying with the line: honey, i am sorry i dont love you.
hope this made sense and helps. ]
from what i remember a person sits down, and the other person trys to get them to smile by doing fun "things" and saying honey if you love me smile ]
