Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.

About 15 years ago I was in my grandmother's sunday school class, and she used a piece of equipment and now I teach sunday school and I like to find the same machine if possible but the problem is I can't remember what it's called. I've tried every search that I can think of, but I can find it. Anyway, it was a large rectangular box with a screen like a tv screen, and it used cassette tapes and film strips and it worked sorta like a slide show, there was a little thingy attached to a wire with a button on the end, and the cassette told a bible story that matched the picture on the screen and when it was time for the picture to be changed it would beep and she would press the button. If anyone knows what this things called please let me know. Thanks!

They are called film strip projectors. You might luck across one for a good price at places like flea markets.

i have been dating this guy for a while and i have serious feelings for him. lately we have been arguing a lot and a week ago i broke up with him because i was really upset. i didnt mean it and i told him but he wasnt sure if we should get back together. he told me to give him time to think and i told him not to make it long because it was hurting me and i wanted to know asap. well the next night he said he was really confused and wasnt sure and that there was another girl he liked and starting talking to. he told me he loves me and doesnt love her but wanted to see where things would go with them and wasnt happy how we were doing lately. we promised to do better and he would stop talking to her and we got back together. i know the girl and her brother so i know they havent been talking but this past week he hasnt been the same. he has been acting different, never calling me or asking to hang out (hes done it like three times this week), i dont ever know what he is doing or what he is up to. i dont ever see him that much anymore. im hurting really bad because i dont think he cares that much for me and the other night he sent me a long text message telling me he is so sorry about everything that he loves me and apologizes for not showing his love for me properly. tonight i called him because im so miserable and upset and asked him why he acts like he doesnt care about me and he just doesnt see it. he doesnt think he is doing anything wrong and just says that he just doesnt show his love the way i want him to. he used to i dont understand why he doesnt now. im so depressed because i love him more than anything and i want to stay with him but i feel so crushed because i want him to show me he cares. im not asking for him to call me and see me all the time, im just simply asking for him to show his love like he used to. what should i do? what should i do to help him realize how i feel and what should i do to help change the fact that he doesnt show it anymore..

The longer you are with someone, the more the relationship changes. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. As a general rule, things are never quite the same as they used to be.

Just because he doesn't show you how much he loves you in the same way as he used to, doesn't mean that he doesn't love you actually more than he used to.
Just because he doesn't show you he cares the same way he used to, doesn't mean that he doesn't care about you.

The problem is, it isn't worth fighting over. If it is that big of an issue, then the relationship is pretty much going nowhere.

Why would you go to lengths of invading his personal space/ privacy? To do that would be incredibly violating.
I mean, let's be realistic. Put yourself in his place. How would you feel if he did that to you?
You would be much better off confronting him. If you can't resolve your trust issues together, then there is no point in continuing the relationship.

I know that when you attend dinners, you should always arrive and sit at chair where the hostess has placed a place card with your name, and that your date should always be on your immediate left. What is the proper thing to do if the hostess has left place cards, but your date is not on your immediate left? Of course, referring to myself as the lady, and my date as my male accompiant.

NOTE:
I am asking this question for my older sister who recently attended a dinner party where this situation occurred. She simply sat where her place card was, and same for her date. Was that the proper thing to do?

The proper thing to do is to sit where the hostess seats you. The hostess seats people as to what she thinks is the best arrangement for her dinner.
Not everyone goes by traditional seating arrangements, and to change it up to what you think is best would most likely be taken as you being rude, even though that isn't your intention.

Just go with the flow.

Why should you feel awkward? If you aren't a girly girl, then you aren't. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that- it's who you are.
I'm not a girly girl, either. I wouldn't be happy if I tried to be.
Just be yourself. You don't have to be all flirty and crazy to open up. Don't allow yourself to feel awkward, be proud of who you are, because it is your awkward feelings that keep you from opening up.

Pound it into your head that you are you, and being you is great. Everyone else can take it or leave it.

Just tell them you decided on a different school. When you go off to college, they are going to know you aren't going to your first choice.

Ok my freind thinks hes gay. How can he find out? His and my best freind who is a girl, oh im a guy, well anyways she has liked him for a year and 2 months and he was thinking hes gay but, he finaly told her for sure that hes gay! and she got super upset and started cutting her wrists she is really emotional! Why should he have to prove it to anyone? If he says he's gay, then his word needs to be trusted.
Besides, why on earth would a guy lie about something like that?

im thinking about getting my tongue pierced but i dont want my parents to find out so i need a tongue colored pink so it doesnt stand out. does anyone know where i can find a tongue ring, i prefer a plastic ont or something thats not metal cuz im alergic to certain metals but i dont know which , can anyone help?

The metal barbells are titanium. You have to use the titanium barbell until you get it changed to a shorter size. You have to have a longer one at first to allow your tongue to swell.
Your parents will likely notice. They aren't fools, you know.
And I also wanted to say that I agree with not being able to get it done without a parent present.
Here in Kansas, you can't even walk in the door until you are age 16, and between 16 and 18, a parent must be present, ID in hand.

im getting a pet hamster thats a girl with short yellow/tannish/white fur. i havent ever had a hamster much less a pet before. what are things i should know about hamsters and taking care of them n stuff? and how do i convince my parents to let me get my first pet? btw im 13. cause theres this girl in my class and her hamster had babies and the hamster i want is a girl and is now about 3 months old. shes giving the babies away for free along with free cages she has.. though I might want to get my own cage possibly... from Petco? idk where they sell that stuff. and do hamsters need any shots or anything? do they bite? what do i do if mine gets sick? how can i tell if its sick? how do i know if its healthy? um and also im not sure what to name her if my parents let me get it. give me opinions on the names i have so far and/or add more names

A hamster who is handled by their owner will be friendly and loving. If they need shots, that's news to me.
You can get nice cages at Petco, Petsmart, anyplace like that. They love wheels and such, so get one with one attached, or room to put one in. They like to pile bedding in them at times, so you'll have to check for that and keep it cleared so they can get exercise.
If you get a cage that doesn't fit a wheel, don't fret, because you can buy hamster balls. These are small plastic balls that you can enclose them in and allow them to run around on the floor.
They like tunnels to run through and hide in, and love their exercise.

How does a dog act if had got poisioned or he had distemper?
Please tell me whats going on with my dog, I don't know whats going on, cause he's showing signs of distemper or he had gotten poisioned.


Yesterday he was inside (he's an outside dog) and he was laying on the floor, and I was going to shut my door, so I said "move twix" and when you say that, he will get up, but it took him a minute, and he walked through the kitched and he was wobbling, like you'd be if you was drunk, and well, we put him out, and he ran to the water bowl and got something to drink really fast, and then, he layed down, and was foaming from the mouth, and the next day he was moaning a little bit, and he wouldn't move at all, it's like he was paralyzed. Well, a few hours later my dad came home, and looked at him, and tried to pick his head up/body but it's like he was dead but still alive, like he couldn't blink or anything. It was like a coma. All he was doing was breathling loudly, and slower&slower. The weird thing is, before all this happened, it was the morning time, he was running around, and he looked perfect.


Well, just a few hours ago, he died. Did he get poisoned, or bit by a snake maybe, or did he have distemper?
If he had distemper, should we bleach our whole yard? Cause we have other dogs.

The best thing you can do is take your dog into the vet and have him examined. If he did happen to have something like rabies, they can only tell from examining his brain. (Before getting to the stage that causes death, there is a stage where the dog is aggravated and mean.) I know you surely hate to think of doing that, but if there is rabies going around your neighborhood, people need to know.

I couldn't find symptoms on poisoning, because there are many types of poisons. The vet can tell you through testing what killed your dog. At least then you would know and know what to do from that point.

ok well I really really really like this girl and I really think I love her. I went out with her for 2 months and we broke up a month ago from today. I was soo happy with her. All i had to do was be next to her and I was happy, as long as I was wit her I was happy. I only see her at school and I see her possibly once a month outside of skool =/ so its been a month but since that day that we broke up she hasn't gone a day with out kissing me. We are pretty much friends with benefits. She always gives me a kiss before leaving skool and she told me that she was thinking about goin out with me again. The same day before she told me that, a girl came over and ummm... she jerked me off and I just touched her 2 parts but over her clothes. After the girl left I didnt even like how I felt afterwards. I felt weird every time I kissed her.
