Ok well I like this guy, whose name is Frankie. Frankie is a total skater dude, and I’m well... kinda preppy. The only reason I’ve really talked to him is cause he sat by me in a couple of my classes. When I talked to him he was really nice.. and sweet. I finally realized I liked him. I really don’t know if he likes me because he's so different from guys I normally like.. And so different from me. Anyway we had this little inside joke thing where we always like wave to each other outside of this one class we have 2gether... and yea.. He always smiles and waves when he sees me and he is so nice. I mean from what I can tell I barely know him though... it really stinks. Yesterday he switched some classes and now I have no classes with him... I’m really upset. It ruint my whole day yesterday anyway.. I really want to talk to him and just get to know him better. But there are some problems... I’m pretty outgoing but I can be really shy around guys and stuff.... Frankie is totally different from me, and a skater dude... most of his friends totally hate me (mostly cuz I’m a little preppy, and smart).... And most of my friends don’t really know him (and I wont tell them who he is)... and I have no classes with him. He still waves to me though. I need advice on how to like talk to Frankie and like really have a conversation with him or just play around. I’m pretty creative, but with all the problems I dunno what 2 do.... And I’m just not very bold when it comes to guys... please help me find a way to talk to Frankie! (PS. in case it helps, I'm 13) (link)

alright first, change is usually good, if he likes you, even if its just a friend that means if you meet his friends and get past their impression of you now than theyll probably be cool, if you want to talk to him get is aim address or phone #, its not that big of deal, is use to be but this is 2004 everyone talks to eachother, even if they hate they still call them to tell them they do, so dont worry about that, once you call him or im him it wont matter that hes not in your classes any more, just work up from their, your friends should get over it, if you like him i dont see why they wouldnt unless they think their better than him, any way, once you talk to him out side of school you can start to meet him and other whatnot. you should be able to know when he likes you at this point.

I've been doing HTML on and off for about 7 or 8 years now, but I haven't done much of anything HTML related lately. I'm afraid my skills have lapsed over that time. So I want to start up another website from scratch so that I can see if I still got it in me. The question is, over what? I was thinking of a site for my workplace but my boss' girlfriend already has that covered. A site over something I'm interested in may be a little fun, but I'd like to make a useful site people will actually go to. I won't bother making a list of interests because no one will read a site about any of them.
I just need some practice. What can I do? Hell, if you want me to design a site for you I might just do that instead. Nothing too hard, though. And if you ask for too much I'll charge you. ;) (link)

Please, for the love of god, do it properly. In 2004 this means using well-formed XHTML for document structure, and using CSS for all the visual styles. Don't use tables for layout and make sure everything validates and conforms to WCAG accessibility guidelines. If you have no idea what any of that means, then please, PLEASE read up on them before you even considering being a web designer. Um... I read a survey somewhere that said 75% of guys admitted to masturbating. (I don't think it makes them gay if they don't; that's the lamest thing I've ever heard) And, it's perfectly normal. In a school in France, they discovered that if they taught a class on it and encouraged it, the % of students doing drugs and being in gangs went down and they did better in school. Perfectly normal.

I have medium blonde hair and I want to dye the ends purple. Now, I'm worried that this will look bizarre and I'll have to cut it. So, I'm thinking about buying the temporary dye. I have two questions. First, do you think what I want to do with my hair would look weird, or do you think I would be better off putting a few streaks in it? My hair goes about halfway down my back. Second, what is a good type of dye that will wash out in one or two showers? The water at my house is kind of weird (It has a lot of chlorine in it) so I need a dye that won't react with the water and make my hair look weird after I wash the dye out. (link)

Hey, I'm 13 in eighth grade, and this Saturday on October 30th, there will be a Junior High Halloween Dance. I need a costume idea, but I go to a Catholic school, so we can't have "vulgar", "revealing", or "gorey" costumes, as my principal says. I want to dress girly, and I want people to be like "Whoa, that is a great costume!" I'm not sure if this would help, but I have red hair that's down to the ends of my shoulder blades and white skin. Any ideas? Thanks I'd really appreciate it.

I'd say French maid, but I once went to a Catholic Middle School dance, so I'm guessing that's a "no". You should go as a 60s British Mod. With a short(ish) skirt, a long jacket that is only a bit longer than the skirt, knee high boots and a newsboy cap. (all in mostly black and white, of course) With pastel lipstick and dark eyeliner. I think that would look pretty cool.

i need to get a halloween costume for halloween but my mom wont buy one and she wont take me somewhere to buy one! i don't really want to make my own costume because nobody will help me and i can't do it by myself without it looking really bad! i don't know what to do!! Last year, my mom was the same way, and I really can't sew. So I just found a short black shirt, a black shirt, a pimpin' hat and knee high boots, threw on some red lipstick (all this stuff I already had in my closet) and went as a hooker. Lol. I looked okay in clothes I already had, so I solved that problem. (That doesn't mean you have to go as a hooker or anything. Lol.) If that's not something you want to do, then keep bothering your mom about it. I for one, would really rather not look bad in something I made myself. (I have no sewing talent whatsoever.)

well this is mainly just if your ready and what YOU wanna do... i can't tell you whats ok or not.. b/c thats all your decision.. but i do think that if your having any doubts then dont do it. I would sit down and think about it for a long time by urself..defenatly dont do it just b/c ur boyfriend wants too.. And also member that once its gone.. its gone forever.. just make sure your not gonna regret anything!!!!

Ive done that for halloween put temporary hair color spray from a can from a halloween store. Wear a mini skirt, and TIGHT shirt that has no words. Make the colors bright and fun. We did lime green tanktop, with a hot pink skirt. Fishnets always are fun, with heels or boots, wear lots of makeup and bring a purse. And voala barbie. Thats what we did.

Well, if you want to help him with his Engrish skillz, then you should ask him to teach you a bit of his own language. It's only polite. Just spend more time with him and things will go about like they're supposed to.

Hey, I am a helper for my church's sunday school class. The class I teach is made up of 4th and 5th graders. Well one of the 4th graders suffers from a disease, I dont know what its called..But he cant really focus on things. Its sort-of like ADHD but worse. So anyway, instead of him listening to the storys and doing crafts hes out of control. Sometimes I have to get his mom so she can calm him down. I told her that I would play with him while the other kids listened to the teacher every sunday. But I dont know what stuff we could do. Does anyone have any ideas? I also have to keep him quiet...so I dont know. I was thinking about coloring but hes a boy and I dont thinks little boys like to color. Thanks and I will rate:) (link)

i take walks after dinner

Okay, well, to lose weight, you really want to focus on cardiovascular workout for about 20 minutes a day, three times a week. Or, you could go for everyday, if you want. Sit ups and squats are more for muscle building, and will only make you heavier, because the more muscle is heavier than fat. Running first thing in the morning before breakfast is also good. If you get the Playstation 2 game Dance Dance Revolution, it has a calorie burning part to it and it's a lot of fun. Don't skip meals, either, because that's not healthy. Instead, change what and the amount you eat. Be sure to eat lots of vegetables and fruits and some grains because carbohydrates give you lots of energy. The proteins that come from meat not only solidify at a temperature close to your own body temperature (which is what causes artery clogging) it's also fuel that is quickly used up, leaving you sluggish and tired.
So, to sum it up, cardiovascular workouts, and healthy, smaller meals and you should be good.
Also, it's not very healthy to lose any more than about 2-3 pounds a week. Slow but steady is the way to go.

EVERYTHING I use makes my skin dry. I eventually went to a dermatologist and I now have 5% benzol peroxide stuff that doesn't dry out my skin if I use it just once a day in the mornings. It's prescription, so maybe you want to look into something similar? I don't think it costs that much, either. :D

As a thirteen year old, there are not many job opportunities for you. Most places will want sixteen-eighteen year olds. If you know someone from your church or something, you could mow lawns, or baby sit, etc. That's honestly about all that's open to you.
