xXxpinky615xXx answered Friday October 15 2004, 4:12 pm: You're not SUPPOSED to be but that would be called depression. About 90% of all teens eventually have depression. I for one had it for a year and a half and I was always depressed, crying, I was cutting myself and attempted suicide. If things really aren't feeling right to you, talk to your school guidance couselor. If you answer yes to 6 or more of these questions and you've felt like this for more than two weeks you could be depressed.
1: I often feel sad and anxious
2: I feel worthless and/or guilty
3: I'm easily irritated
4: My appetite has changed drastically.
5: I don't enjoy things I used to like to do.
6: I have little or no energy
7: I sleep too little or too much
8: I have trouble concentrating/making decisions
9: I have violent outbursts/trouble with self control
10: Some people think I'm loud and obnoxious
11: I skip school or have dropped school activities
12: I often have headaches or other aches.
13: I use alchohal or other drugs to help me feel better.
14: I feel helpless to change my situation.
16: I think about death suicide or harming myself.
Mercy_x_Me answered Friday October 15 2004, 3:05 pm: well yeahh teens are usually rele depressed but it shouldnt be all the time. I think you should get a psychologist before things get out of hand and you rele just dont feel good about ne thing anymore. I know im really emotional and stuff but it shouldtn be ALL the time. Try talking about your problems with youyr friends and get some stress out through music, it helps me soo much just listening to my favorite cd gets me from crying to dancing and being rele stupid... (lol like funny stupid). I think you should get a therapist tho.
orphans answered Friday October 15 2004, 12:55 pm: Yes. Yes, all the time. It's teen angst and it sucks and I hate it. A lot. And it's normal.
If you think that something is really, really wrong with you, then you should talk to a doctor about it. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

But that's normal, it's most likely just a phase you're going through, it'll pass with time. Just hang around with people who make you happy& have fun!
