Last night my best friends parents got into a car accident. Her dad had to spend the night in the hospital because he broke his ribs and lost a lot of blood. Her mom is doin ok, she has internal bruises but is taking everything well. The doctors thought that her dad was going to die, but he made it through the night. Ive never been in this sort of situation before. I dont know what to say or what to do. Please help, i really need to be there for my friend!!!!!!!
There isn't really anything you can say, because you don't want to say the wrong thing. Just let your friend know that your there for her. That's really all she needs.

My house smells really bad.. like dogs. How do i get the smell to go away? I've tried air fresheners like NeutraAir and Febreeze and Oust but none of them seem to work. Is there an INEXPENSIVE way to get my house clean- and fresh-smelling? I'll rate 5's for everyone who tries 2 answer!
get the stuff that you put on your floor like carpet fresh that is strong and smells good and then when you vacum it up the smell comes out or something

There iz this guy that lives in my neighborhood and hes in 10th grade and my parents dont let me hang out with him caz they think hes a bad influence! He is so much fun to hang around and i dunno if he likes me or not caz he would call me every night to sneak out of my house so we could hang out we would talk about everything! and now my parents are back and they found out that i was hanging out with him and they grounded me! what should i do im sooo confused! i rate high!
Try talking to your parents. Just tell them that he's really cool and he's not what they think he is. He's different and if they would just give him the time and get to know him that they would change there mind about him. And if they go along with it, maybe he can come over for dinner or something and get to know your parents so they leave you alone.

okay My Kitchen is all white. My cabinets are that weird plastiky white kind with red handles, the appliances are white and everything. The whole thing looks horrible. The floor is old and disgusting linolium, and since we moved our door to the other side of the room theres sheet rock showing below some of the cabinets.We aren't getting the whole thing done until summer possibly. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make it look not so white? Is there any kind of decorations i can use to liven this mess up? is there any some typical things out there that make the kitchen look any better? becasue really, nothing matches, and looks good.It's just so horrible looking sometimes. I really can't bear it.
You can try painting your kitchen a new color , like all of the cabinets and stuff.If you have a theme for your kitchen you can decorate it with that, like apples for example you can paint come apples on the cabinet. You can also get new cabinet facings. Put rugs on your kitchen floor til you get new. I don't know what to do with the appliances. Good luck. Also if you go to like home depot or something they have a whole bunch of books with ideas of what you can do with your kitchen.

I go away to school and I have a little sister who I dont get a chance to see a lot. This past weekend, I came home but I didnt spend as much time with her as I should have. We got into a little fight and when I left, I didnt even say goodbye to her. Do you think she can forgive me?
I think she might have forgiven you by now. But if she holds grudges and stuff that might be a different story. But when you see her again and she still is upset just apologize to her and maybe that will make things better. But if this is really bothering you than maybe you should call her and talk stuff out.

I have wavy hair that is very thick and very frizzy in humidity. I live in Maine we have pretty humid summers. I am looking into getting a striaght perm in the summer. Does anyone know:
1.) If they have harmful chemicals that are carcinogenic or damage your hair?
2.) If they don't get frizzy even in humidity
3.) How long they last
4.) How much they cost
5.) Anything else about them!

STRIAGHT PERMS DO NOT WORK!!!!! I have very thick hair and my hair is like wavy curly kind of thing. I got one of those damn things and it last for like 1 week and if you ask me I think its pretty expensive for lasting about a week. The lady told me it was supposed to last for 3 months but yeah she was lieing. It does having harmful chemicals and yes they will damage your hair, my hair was fried. Your hair does get frizzy, unless you use like a really good frizz control. They don't last long, they cost to much. It cost like a 130 bucks. But if you want your hair to stay striaght and less frizzy i say get a flat iron, some paul mitchell striaghtening gel and all that stuff. And get some frizz ease or something. It works for me.

Ok i have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My oldest sisteris married and has a daughter who is 2 and her husband has a daughter from a previous relationship who is 6. So im an aunt of 2 and my 2nd oldest sister found out that she was pregnant with her fiance of 6 years. im 14 years old. my sister is almost 5 months pregnant halfway through but she went for an ultrasound one day. she noticed that the baby really didn't move that much so she let the doctors know. her baby was tested positve for spinalbifida which could possibly make the baby never walk. Then she started freakin out and she blamed it on genetics because our cousin has it. so she went to a specialist to find out if the baby had the disease or not. Apparently my mom researched evry symptom that she had with the baby and it turns out the baby has a very rare disease called potters sequence which is where the babies kidneys are to big where they are hard and pushing on the lungs giving no way for a life. the longest the baby can live is probably only a couple of hours. its really tearing my sister apart. and we are real close so its tearing me up b/c she aint talkin to me. What im askin is how do i try to get through to her without makin the situation worse or makin her cry? i really dont know howq to handle this. but i cant just not say nething b/c she needs me she always said i was the best person to talk to. she has always helped me and i just wanna say nething possible to help her. extremaly worried
Well I don't think there is anyway to talk to her about this without making her cry but if you don't want to like come right out and be like I'm sorry and all of that, why don't you buy her a card or something and write everything in there. Let your sister know that your there for her because she's always been there for you. I think thats all she really needs is to know someone that she loves is right there for her.

im 16 in high school this year we had a new history teacher.im dislexic and he always picks on me about it and sends me out of every lesson since september.for reasons that are pathetic like asking questions too loudly.on friday he sent me out of the lesson within 3 minutes.i dont know what to do,i like the subject its interesting but im thinking of dropping it because of the teacher.what shall i do?shall i drop it?pleese reply asap
Talk to your guidance consular or something. See if there are any other teachers that teach history. If there isn't and you just can't stand the class drop it and find somethinge else you might like.

Since it is pretty much the start of winter where I live, it is quite cold. When it gets cold outside, my hands get dry and start to crack and occasionally peel. My question is, is there any hand lotion that would be good for me to use so that it will help prevent from the cracking and peeling? I've used St Ives Whipped Silk and it made my hands start to burn. So if you have any suggestions on a hand lotion to use, it would be greatly appreciated if you'd "share the love". cetaphil works wonders except it has no scents. I like smelly stuff but it keeps your hands mosturized for like a long time. It shouldn't burn because I used it when I had this rash from wind burn and the rash burned and when I put the lotion on it made it feel a whole lot better.

Sounds like somebody has a crush. I deffinetly think that "bob" has a crush on you. Who knows they are guys, they do play games. Just if he is playing games there are soo many ways to pay them back. You can humilate the shit out of them if they are playing with you. And yeah it is okay to talk to "bob" if you are talking to someone else. It's not like your married. Your single and free do what you want. But once you start talking seriously with one of the guys you might want to lay off on one of the guys, that would just be sending mixed signals. i love my boyfriend VERY much, but hes always So down on himself. he calls himself stupid, ugly, and says he doesnt deserve me ALL THE TIME. when i talk to him about it, he says his mom is always putting him down and he feels like hes nothing and he has no future and he feels like hes just going to bring me down if i stay with him. i want to be with him forever.... but its hard to deal with him always putting himself down. he tries not to but sometimes it slips. i really wish i could make him love himself. One of my really best friends used to do this all the time and I finally got fed up with him and like yelled at him. I told him if he was so sick of his dad yelling at him and always beating him up and putting himself down then to prove to his parents that he isn't a worthless piece of shit. I told him that I didn't think that he was a loser and all this other stuff. Maybe you should tell him that. I don't think there is anyway you can make him love himself. Find something he can do that can make him feel proud of himself. Try doing something he enjoys. And everytime he accomplishes something or does good on something congradulate him or something. A friend of mine needs a roommate, and I really want to move in with her because she's got a cool place and I'm sick of living on my own. The problem is that she's got a cat and I'm allergic to cats. The duplex has all hardwood floors and I'd have my own cat-free room, but I'm really nervous about moving in because cats really make me sick. Should I risk it?
Well if your willing to put up the all the allergies, sure go ahead why not. My mom is allergic to cats, and I got a cat and she started taking medicine for it and now her allergies are controlled or whatever. If you really really want to move in there just go to the doctors and see what you can do about it. They will probably give you some pills.

i just figured out that one of my really good friends drinks and stuff..and it really sucks because now my whole perception on him is totally changed. is it really that bad to be drinking as a freshman in high school, i mean i know everyone does it or whatever..but its just really sucks to find something like that out about someone you thought you knew..any suggestions on what to do?

I am 16-f. For a month or so now... i have been having horrible leg pains. Like achey. They hurt so bad I can't sleep sometimes. I was thinking it could be growing pains... but I am almost done growning. (I'm 5'8) and even when I was like 12 and growing... my legs didnt hurt this much. What could this possibly be from and any suggestions how to cure it? (besides the obvious: medicine) Thanks so much!
Is it like a BAD charlie horse? If it is it's because you don't drink enough water. If it's not then maybe you should go to the doctors because my friends has problems like that with her leg and she has to take medicine and therapy.
