i just figured out that one of my really good friends drinks and stuff..and it really sucks because now my whole perception on him is totally changed. is it really that bad to be drinking as a freshman in high school, i mean i know everyone does it or whatever..but its just really sucks to find something like that out about someone you thought you knew..any suggestions on what to do?

You should try to tell him to stop or not do it so often. But if it doesn't work, just remember that theyre the same person they were before you knew they drank.
