Drinking as a freshman?

Question Posted Tuesday November 2 2004, 10:21 pm

i just figured out that one of my really good friends drinks and stuff..and it really sucks because now my whole perception on him is totally changed. is it really that bad to be drinking as a freshman in high school, i mean i know everyone does it or whatever..but its just really sucks to find something like that out about someone you thought you knew..any suggestions on what to do?

Everyone does not do it ~_~ Why dont you talk to him and tell him what a jerk he is being by drinking. If he blows you off hes just not the same person he was before and you should forget about him.

Well...I know what you mean...I started drinking before i was a freshman and my close friends dont really like the idea. You should try to tell him to stop or not do it so often. But if it doesn't work, just remember that theyre the same person they were before you knew they drank.

Drinking is not a bad thing.. If he starts doing it ALOT and gets mean or dumb when he drunk just stop talking to him and wait for him to come to you.. otherwise i dont think you should worry about it drinking is really normal in highschool.. hope i helped =]

That is really hard. You should talk to them. Tell them the consequences of drinking and stuff. then I bet that they would understand. Good Luck!!
