Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. Thats not the kind I have, so I'm not sure if my advice will help, but I didn't see any previous answers, and well, here goes.

Has she tried calling voicemail? Usually what I have to do is just call voicemail, after listening to my messages (or if I have none) it'll give me other options, one will be "if you want to work with your personal greetings system... then press ..." I press whatever number they say (3 for me I think)
Then they give me more options and it says to work with your recording (or whatever) press... (I think 1 for me) then I record it, hit the pound key, listen to it to make sure it sounds good, and hang up.

Sorry if that doesn't work for your friend, but I hope it gives you some ideas.
Also when you get a cell phone, they usually come with instruction manuels. Look through the table of contents to see if it has anything on voice messages and stuff.

I know this doesn't help much, but sometimes if I don't know the answer I refer people to someone who might. And if Mackenzie doesn't answer this question, then you should definitly ask her. She's good with stuff like that. You should see her xanga, it's really good!

Other than Jansport, what are some good brands of backpacks? I'm going to have a lot of big books and binders this year and I need a bookbag that will last me all year without tearing or the zippers breaking. Thanks.

I did have one bookbag that lasted the whole year (shocker for me) but I don't know that brand. Anyway my mom said if I wanted a could get a new one even though my other one was good, just in case something happened. I got a columnbia and it works pretty good. I know LL Bean has nice book bags too.
I suggest making sure you have an extra, because usually my bookbags break in the middle of the year and stores are sold out so you get stuck with either another crappy one, or you don't get one.

I usually pick my nails, not bite them, so I don't know how to stop that problem myself. Anyway, your question was biting, and I know exactly how to help you with that.
There are certain lotions, and nail polishes made to taste horribly, you can get them in clear or in colors (clear if you aren't into painting nails, or even if you're a guy, and color if you like painting your nails) But the nail polish tastes horrid, my friends mom bought her some, and I used it, never do I want to bite my nails again, unfortunately, instead of biting I let them grow uut, then I pick them, I wish I could stop that haha.
But there are lotions, and polishes and all sorts of stuff to make your nails taste bad, just wear it all the time and you'll eventually be cured!!

Nope, you can't get pregnant.
There would have been very small possibilities, but since you said he wiped his hands, then really it's maybe a 1 in a million chance.
If there's no sperm on his hands than you can't have gotten pregnant.
The only way to get pregnant is if sperm gets inside your vagina. And you said he wiped his hands, so I guess you aren't pregnant.

It's just discharge. Every girl has it, and I'm not sure if it ever goes away. Maybe when we're like 50.
All you need is panty liners. They are thinner unnoticable (like as in you can't feel them) versions of pads. I'd reccommend the deoderized kind, so your "down there" doesn't smell gross haha. My mom used to say deoderized stuff down there messes up the natural chemicals of your vagina or something like that, so that would be something you'd have to ask your mom.
But next time you go to buy pads or tampons, consider buying a box of pantyliners.
Also, they're good to wear while you wear tamopons (if you wear tampons) that way if you ever have a leak you're still safe!!

I've been home for the last week and it is so boring!! I'm home alone from when i wake up to 11:30. What can I do other than eat, go on the computer, read, and watch TV because that is what I've been doing. So bored! My summer is wasting away!

You can go swimming, you can go to movies, or the mall.
You didn't say whether you had any friends around to hangout with.
You can find a job, whether it's just regularly babysitting, or if you're old enough, then a place close by, like walking distance if you don't have a car. Or if you do have a car then it wouldn't matter.
Where do you live? Like around me there are awesome amusement parks such as Wet and Wild Emerald Park which would be a great place to go during the summer (and it is a super fun place, and only $20, or at least thats how much it was when I went) I also have Carowinds which has a water park and just regular rides and stuff.
But maybe near you there's like a six flags? Or a beach, or a lake to hang at? Heck maybe you live near disney land or disney world in Florida or California.
I bet if you put some additional info you'll get better answers from others, but since this is all I had to work with, all I could come up with was calling up friends for mall or movies, of going to the mall or movies by yourself (not much fun, but better than sitting around the house) going to an amusement park close by, going to a lake or beach close by, getting a job, just going to the neighborhood pool (if you have one)

Yup, I've read it, more than once already!!
I finished it the day after I bought it haha.
Well I am a Harry Potter freak, and I'll admit it, and so of course I liked it.
I didn't like what happened towards the end, but the book was amazing. I can't wait for the 4th movie, and the 7th book to come out haha!

First of all i wasn't sure what to put this under for a category? But i figure it sort of makes sense.. Anyways.. when i read answers to posts on here at the end of some messages it will say "& Hearts" or something like that.. i was wondering if that is supposed to mean anything particular?

It makes a heart, like a small black one. It will show up on your column if you were to do it, but it doesn't show up on the main pages because someone used some type of html and it screwed up the main pages, so now html doesn't work on main pages, but it does on columns, or at least some of the html does.

Anyway, it just makes a heart, just the html screwed up so it won't show up on the main pages.
