it is bad for you, but its not as bad if you wear sunscreen..tanning beds are just as bad as being outside..just wear sunscreen if you get burnt wait a couple days before u go back so u dont get skin cancer

yeah they are both bad for you because of "harmful UV raise" which cause skin cancer.. but i don*t care i do both of em. However it also causes wrinkles and sun spots over time too! hope i helped, xoxo chelsea

umm...yes tanning is bad for you. tanning beds are even worse for you. so if you have to tan, laying out is better for you. dont worry about it though, i tan all the time and i havent had any trouble yet <3 hope that helped!

uhm -- tanning isn't bad, at least i don't think -- bur if you go into tanning beds too much, there's a chance of skin cancer! be careful!

Well no tanning isn't bad for unless your in the sun for way too long and you dont use sunscreen. Otherwise it's not harmful. The same goes for tanning beds. They cause you no harm unless you go everyday.

Actually; tanning beds can be worst than tanning outside. There 3 different kinds of UV (all are bad), when you outside your in open area, with other stuff floating in the air that break up the UV rays, also you have combination of all three type of UV. When you’re in a Tanning bed, however you’re getting the full throttle of just one of them.

yes they are both bad for you tanning from the sun can give you cancer and so can tanning from tanning beds..but if you really really really wanna do it go for it..no ones stopping you..but there is a rist for cancer so be carful

Well in the long run it can cause cancer, but other than that, it really isn't all that bad.
You can always try googling it, or you can ask jeeves, that guy is cool haha.
