There's this boy I've liked for a long time, since Bush won his 2nd term (I'm 13/f, by the way). Over that time, we've become pretty good friends. Yesterday, he asked me who I liked and I wouldn't tell, because I didn't want him to know. Especially considering the fact that he just got a girlfriend (he's also 13). Then he kept begging and nagging and kept saying that he wouldn't tell anyone and that he keeps secrets well (I know that for a fact, but still I didn't want him to know). After a while, I decided to tell him, because if he kept it up, he'd find out eventually because if it seemed that I sincerely didn't want him to know (even though I've trusted him with other stuff), the truth would be very plain. So I told him, and I said I was sorry. He's really really nice, but I'm really worried that he thinks I'm an asshole. I don't know what to do! I've never liked anyone in my whole life. Do 13-year-old boys usually think their friends are assholes in this kind of situation? How can I stay friends with him? CAN I still stay friends with him? This is long and will most likely get rated down, but I don't have anywhere else to get help! And I know that problems of a 13-year-old aren't as important as questions asked by older people, but this IS an advice site, and the site IS open to 13-year-olds.

I dont think that you should worry about it to much. Boys are pretty simple for the most part and dont get worked up over that kind of thing. If he wanted to know so bad, he cant get mad at you for telling the truth. He might even like you back! He probbly just feels a little bit uncomforatable around you now(guys get like that sometimes)but im sure he will get over it soon and move on. Hope it works out for you.

Ok, my name is Adrianna and i'm fifteen. And I (Obviously) need some help. See, people at my school think i'm a poser. And it really pisses me off. Because I have NEVER talked to any of the people that call me it. So they base it all on the way I dress. Call me crazy but, I have always bought things based on if I liked them or not. So I shop everywhere. Hot topic, Abercrombie and Fitch, JCPennys, hell even the thrift store if I really like it. So like, I want people to understand that i'm not trying to be something, i'm not trying to be a "Punk" or a "Prep" I could honestly give a shit less. I understand that not everyone is going to like you but, it really upsets me that people don't like me based on the clothes I wear. I don't know what to do. I want these people to just stop.


Ugh, I know this is stupid and cliched. So bear with me.

I know what how your feeling. Basically, its just a part of high school, people start to label others. Why dont you try and start talking to some of the people that call you a "poser". I think that if you are nice to everyone and dont get caught up in the drama, then things will work out. Usually as people start getting older, they get more mature and will not be so judgemental. TELL ME WHERE TO BEGIN! School starts in 2 days now... I cant set myself to just pick out an outfit. I love all my new clothes... just cnt pick! trust me, its not as big of a deal as you think it is. i started high school last week and nobody really made a big deal about it. i would suggest that you just pick the outfit that you think is the cutest on you and go with it.

I just bought these destroyed jeans..my first pair! and they are really cute!! but the problem is..I'm a afriad that when I put them in the washer, and I wear them out, the frayed part will rip and there will be a big hole in the "frayed" part..can someone help me..if they've had experience with destroyed jeans..can you please tell me how to care for them and what eventually happened to the frayed holes? thanks

turn them inside out and then wash them seperatly on hand wash. the wholes will just fray more, but it looks cute like that anyway. hope that works!

ok i dont tan at all, So i have tied like almost every tan creme or spray i can think of. and i ve turned orange..does anyone kow of any tanning stuff that works, i dont care how much it cost!!

jergens tanning lotion! its like a regular lotion that you put on right after you get out of the shower but it gradually gives you a tan. it looks really natural and you see fast results. i use it in the winter. hope it works out

well the other night i was at my friends house and i was kinda sad becuase my friends wouldnt do anything me or my friends sister wanted to do so me and her sister went downstairs and i said something i shouldnt have and now i dont mean it i wish i could take it back and i want my friends back does anybody have any advice to give me and i told them i was really sorry and didnt mean it thanks

i know how your feeling. i have been in this situation a time or two. the best advice that i can gove you is just to talk to her and be completely honest about what you said. then just tell her how much her freindship means to you and that she doesnt have to forgive you. over time, i'm sure that she'll forgive you and you guys will be freinds again. i hope that it works out for you.

I have really short nails.. i get really nervous and so i bite them. i want to grow them out for school but dont know how because i will end up biting them so does any one know how i can stop. and grow them out. thanks i rate 5's for good answers.

try spraying really strong perfume or nail polish remover on them. neither taste good and it makes your mouth dry so you wont want to bite them anymore. also try chewing on some gum. that will calm your nerves and make you not bite your nails.

umm...yes tanning is bad for you. tanning beds are even worse for you. so if you have to tan, laying out is better for you. dont worry about it though, i tan all the time and i havent had any trouble yet

cache has really pretty dresses. there kinda expensive so if your looking for something a little more inexpensive, dillards has really cute dresses. also charolatte russe has some cute dresses that are appropriate for weddings. good luck shopping!

hey! i bought some bronzer in the compressed powder form, but i dont know how to put it on!! everytime ido its bltochy and looks soo bad! how to i apply it evenly and where do i apply it? thanks!

ok... well it helps a lot to be wearing foundation, but you dont have to be to make it look good. with powder, you have to be sure that you use a tiny bit or it gets blotchey. take a blush brush and wipe it on something so tt all the excess comes off. then start at your cheek bone and go down and then just brush the rest of your face a little bit with it. dont over do it. it looks good when you put blush on your cheek bone over it. try it, it should work out. hope i helped some.

what are sum good eyeshadow colors?

well what eye shadow you wear depends a lot on what your complexion. but on most people, pink looks really good, like a nuetral pink with some shimer. also light brown looks good on a lot of people. try putting a paler coler all over you eye lid to bring out your features and make it stand out. just try out some different colors and see whats best for you. hope that helped!
