Just try putting some nail polish on & then when you get nervous or anxious, chip the nail polish off. There are other things you can do too, if you want some more tips leave a message in my inbox & I'll get back to you! Hopefully that helped.

Hi hunni. My friend used to have the same problem. I read somewhere that biting your nails is like licking a toliet seat. Ew I know! If that doesn't help there is a special finger nail polish called Thum I believe. It has a spicy taste that is gross.

i bit my nails for 12 years and this is how i stopped...
1.use a hardener, it makes your nails strong so they dont bend and break easily and it helps them grow
2.on top of the hardener put on nail polish, it taste nasty when you bit it and if it comes off it'll get all over your teeth and then people will laugh at you.
doing this has stopped me from biting my nails and they grow fast now!

OK so I bit my nails for many years so I can understand totally where you are coming from. I tried everything such as the yucky nail polish and really hot sauce. Nothing works. Those were like dessert for me. What worked for me is I gave myself some type of reward for every 30 days I could go without chewing on my nails. I chewed on gum and pen caps but I didn't bit my nails. I was so excited about actually having nails for once in my life that my rewards were things like nail polish and manicures. I kept a log of my success in Excel and I kept it every day. I hope that this helps.

try spraying really strong perfume or nail polish remover on them. neither taste good and it makes your mouth dry so you wont want to bite them anymore. also try chewing on some gum. that will calm your nerves and make you not bite your nails. <3

If you can get fake nails..You wont bite them as much an even if you do its fine..Your nails will grow longer under them..an by time school starts your nails will be longer..If that doesnt work just make sure you always have something else to cheew on like gum or something instead of biting your nails stick a peice of gum in your mouth
