well, when i was dehydrated, i threw up a lot, and it was just like yellowie stuff, it wasnt food or anything.

you get dehydrated when you dont get enough water.

A person's body is made up of, approximately, 75% water. An average person should drink at least 8 to 10, 8 ounce glasses of water per day. This needs to be good healthy water not polluted, bacteria or parasitic laden water. Your health depends on it.

Some Symptoms of dehydration or lack of water are:

Tired and wanting to sleep in the afternoon
Always hungry
Rough, dry skin
Sudden weight loss
Dry mucus membranes
Weak irregular rapid heart beat
Rough dry skin
Lack of energy, fatigue
Low blood pressure
Rapid and shallow breathing

Some Symptoms of long term dehydration or lack of water are:

Premature aging or wrinkled skin
Aches and pains.

Some Causes of Dehydration Symptoms are:

The use of Diuretics or other medications that cause loss of fluids.
Over exertion without the replenishing of fluids
Hot, dry or windy climate.
Consumption of Coffee, Soda Pop or Alcohol.
Chlorination, fluoridated, high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) water. (See Salt Water below)
Salt Water - Do you know the main reason you shouldn't drink salt water from the oceans of the world? It's because it dehydrates you instead of hydrating you. R.O. (Reverse Osmosis) systems where designed to take the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids like Salts) from salt water and turn it into good drinking water for the sailors on board ships and submarines. It is widely used today to rid our water of harmful TDS and other elements harmful to our survival. It has been able to reduce harmful elements from 92 to 97 percent depending on the substance. Having pure water can greatly reduce the risk of symptoms of dehydration.

There is another major concern with our water that was never clearly seen until lately. Water has a dyne level, that is to say a level of viscosity which allows it to be absorbed into materials that would have the same or lower dyne level. If you put a drop of water on a piece of wood it might evaporate before it is absorbed into the wood because the water's dyne level is too high for the density of the wood. This is the same thing that happens in the body. The body needs the level of water to be 45 dyne in order for proper absorption. Most water is 70 dyne or more, therefore the body has a hard time absorbing water. There is a solution. For more information e-mail crownmaker@hotmail.com with Dyne Level in the subject line or fill in the form below. This solution greatly helps prevent dehydration.

Some helpful hints for the Prevention of the Symptoms of Dehydration:

Drink water before going to bed
Drink water first thing in the morning upon waking, even if you don't feel like getting up. Keep a glass of water by your bed.
Fill a pitcher that holds about 8 glasses of water and be sure and drink one everyday
Don't drink things that will dehydrate you like Pop and Coffee. (Yes I know this is a hard one but it's got to be done.)
Drink water before and after athletic events.

Add the product, mentioned in the previous paragraph, to your water to decrease the Dyne level for better absorption. This product is great for Athletes.

See Also Cleenflo Computerized technology to purify your water.

Water will always help to make you healthier but you also need proper nutrition. Along with the product for water mentioned above there are four other products that I have discovered that will drastically change your life for the better if given the chance. What are some of the ways the products, I'm going to tell you about, will benefit you even if you don't have a major health problem? This is an easy question to answer.

They can drastically increase your I.Q. As you cleanse your body your I.Q. will increase. My I.Q. increased by 21 points the first time I did a major cleanse.
They will Strengthen your immune system and help prevent sickness.
They will keep you looking youthful longer and protect you against harmful Free Radicals the destroyers of good health.
Give you increased energy and stamina.
Help prevent depression by riding your body of harmful toxins.
Make you feel more alive and happy.
Help make the stress in your life seem trivial.
And Many other things too numerous to mention.
Also, if you have any Major Disease you never can tell what they might do for you but I do know it will all be good and it will increase your awareness (I.Q.) so that you can make better decisions..

my sister get s dehydrated all the time. usually you'll start to feel dizzy, or like you cant stand up, or you can move a muscle. if you dont get enough water in your system by then- then there's a huge possibility you could black out. not tryin to scare you- but its definetely best to drink as much water as you can stand in one day. wherever you are, and whenevr you get the chance.

Some symptoms of dehydration are:
Muscle weakness after sweating, vomiting or diarrhea, and possibly muscle cramps.

Some things to do:
Drink fluids, especially sports drinks like Gatorade (replaces lost electrolytes)

If replacing fluids and you're still feeling badly see a doctor.

You don't always feel thirsty when you're dehydrated (but when you DO feel thirsty, you're almost *certainly* dehydrated).

One easy test to see if you're dehydrated is to (gently) pinch the skin on the back of your hand into a fold. If it springs back into shape quickly, you're probably not dehydrated. If it stays in the pinch-shape for a while, you should probably drink something.

Some other signs of dehydration:

- Weakness
- Dizziness
- Palpitations (feeling that the heart is jumping or pounding)
- Confusion
- Dark or orange-colored urine
- Sluggishness, even fainting
- Inability to sweat

Remember that just because you don't feel thirsty, that doesn't mean you're not dehydrated.

It's also a good idea to remember that coffee, tea, and most soft drinks are diuretics. That means that they make you pee more, extracting moisture from your system. So when you drink a soft drink, you only get about 1/2 of the hydration that you would get from drinking the exact same amount of water or a sports hydration drink.

By the way, alcohol is also a diuretic. Which isn't surprising, since everyone knows that beer makes you pee. :D
