Ask me questions, and i'll answer them. I'm smart so usually I`ll know the answer. I`ll tell you the truth, like almost every person with an advice column does, so don`t be suprised. I love my friends & family, I just love life, but don`t worry it took me a while to get here. My life isnt perfect & i've had a lot of deaths. I have a good perspective on things, usually if you ask me a question i've already been in that situation. I know life is hard & i know things suck but i also know that life is amazing too.
If I tell you to just buck up and do it, I really mean it & i'm not just saying that becuase i don't know what else to tell you.

well, i'm 15 and i'm definitely not having sex before marriage. me and bf are sure of that and are strong with our beliefs.
but for me, i'm little lost on some things. i would just like to be a little bit smarter with the subject.

1st - is ejaculation (for both guys and girls)good or bad? is it gross? does it get on anything?

2nd - what are orgasms for? what do they do? why do people always ask about them?

3rd - what is "popping the cherry"? is it bad? is it something to watch out for? does it hurt?

4th - and when i am married i'm a little afraid to have sex because a lot of people say it can and can't hurt and girls can always can get pregnant. is there anything to really be afraid of? what is there to really watch out for?

5th - how well do condoms work? would condoms work everytime we would have sex?

Ok so i might be a little crazy sometimes just being myself.. but does that mean i don't deserve a boyfriend? I'm 16 years old and i've never kissed a guy, gone out w/ a guy or anything.. it's not that i don't want to ... it's just that i guess the right guy hasn't come along. I've had 2 major crushes and thought for sure the last one was the ONE but.. that's a long story.. In the end im still single. What's wrong w/ me? I mean im decent looking.. i have an awesome sense of humour and have ALOT in common w/ alot of my guy friends and stuff. I don't know if just feel like a reject...

It sounds like you're focusing on one guy too much. Open your horizons and flirt and become interested in a lot of guys so that you have options and more chances to get a boyfriend. Everyone gets a boyfriend sooner or later so just when you don't expect it.. you'll find out a guy is interested in you and vuala, you have yourself a boyfriend. Be patient, and be yourself. Everything will turn out just fine =)

normal boys, not the player types, they like a girl who they can laugh with, talk with, someone who has a "sparkling personality." They like a girl who isnt shy and knows how to flirt. You have to be good looking too, but you don't have to be amazingly beautiful becuase your personality can make up for what your lacking.

ok my ex bf who i broke up with about 2 months ago, has recently asked me out. He said he loves me and he needs me. So he asked me out again today and i rejected him nicely. I told him that I wasn't ready for a bf again and he said ok. But now he is telling everyone that he is going to kill himself. I feel terrible, its all my fault. So I feel pressured into going out with him again. But then I can never break up with him cuz he will kill himself, so i will have to like be with him forever. WHAT SHOULD I DO!???

What you need to do is sit him down and have a talk. Ask him if he's really serious about killing himself or if he was just kidding. Make sure to get the real truth & don't do it on the phone or online becuase you can't see his facial expressions or body language that tells you he's lieing or telling the truth. If he seems serious about it, contact an adult. The school counselor, his parents, whoever would be able to take action to save his life. If he's just joking then you have to let him down easy, definitly don't feel pressured into going out with him & be responsible about it! hopefully he gets the help he needs & good luck! =)

It means that her life is bad, well she thinks it is, but she isnt going to let it get to her like other peeople do and she thinks that people who do let it get to them are crazy. She is gonna tell everyone to stop blaming other people for why their life is so lame. & in the beginning its saying that she doesnt have all the stuff the communist has so she is stuck watching tv and doing unimportant things.

EDIT: ha ha, a communist is someone who believes in communism, which is the belief that everyone should have the same pay, land, exc. It makes for a classless country. It sounds like a great idea but usually governments who practice communism are corrupt and don't care for the working class but rather for upholding their own power. It started in Russia and is still practiced in some countries such as China.

Ive never wore a tampon, ive tryed so many times, but i cant get it in.
I wear pads, and its summer and i want to wear a tampon. I tryed the mirror thing and toilet but its hard. Any other ideas, ( and the box instructions dont work great either)

Also how can i make it cleaner when i wear pads.

I think everyone probably has this problem when they first try to get it in, well i did at least, Make sure you try this when your perid is heavy so it will slip in better and hurt less when you take it out. This may sound gross but feel around with your finger to see where the hole is. Once you find it, place the tampon at the opening and push parallel to your tailbone. The number 1 rule is, if it hurts, your doing it wrong. You will definitly know when it goes it and it won't hurt AT ALL. Good luck though =) & it does take some patience. When you wear pads, change them often and get bigger ones for when you sleep becuase the blood slides down becuase your horizontal. Wear a tampon on heavy days & when you go to the pool.

honestly, if he hasnt done anything about you liking him (asked you out, wanted to hang out with you exc.) & he wanted to know if someone else liked him then it doesnt look like he likes you in that way. There are plenty of other guys out there though, and maybe J just doesnt know you enough or likes someone else, there is still hope with J so don't give up if you really like this guy, but otherwise, just move on.

Well, I wouldnt go as far as saying he "likes you" but he is definitly interested in you which means he could potentially like you in the future. You should start talking and flirting with him more and if he seems interested, don't be afraid to show that your interested too. Ask him to hang out or call him one night just to say hey, trust me it works.

Friday, the guy I've liked for about a month and I hooked up (as in made out, NOT sex!) Anyways, he's really hot and popular and stuff, but he's the WORST kisser in the world! if you think he would get offended and it would be awkward if you just straight out told him that he sucked at kissing, then you can look up how to kiss online, print it out, and stick it in his locker or leave it somewhere where he would see it and read it. Make sure he doesnt know that you left it there =) hopefully this kid takes the hint! ha ha.

I worry about everything way too much, but esp. one thing. BOYS. theres this 1 guy that i didnt even like and i found out he likes me and now i act all different around him. Your scared becuase your self concious. With this guy that likes you, all you have to remember is that he likes you for a reason right?
All you have to do it be yourself and relax. He should be the one nervous, since you know how he feels about you but he doesnt. Think about what you do when your on the phone with your best friends and then try and think about talking to him in that kind of way. Tell him funny things that happened that day, or ask him about his day. If you really get cramped up on things to say ask him a question so he can do the talking.

my cat keeps killing animals outside, and bringing them in my yard. shes killed four different things just this week and brought them in my yard. my mom hates her, and i threatening to get rid of her. how can i stop her from doing this? keeping her inside isnt an option, sooo.

I had the same exact problem with my cat just recently! Its a simple answer, figure what time of day your cat does most of her killing, (night or day) and make a curfew for her. Like my cat killed during the night so we made sure he was in by 5:30-6:00 and he hasnt killed anything in a month. Usually rodents and little animals come out during the night, especially if they know a cat is around. Your cat is most likely doing her killings during the night so everyday call her inside and keep her there until the next morning. Hopefully this works! good luck to you and your cat! =)

i have 2 dogs and they are both boys. they keep licking each other's tongues like they're making out and humping each other. the one always tries to mount the other. and to make it worse, they're brothers!!!! are my pets gay?? or from west virginia?? help what should i do?

Ok, me and my friends together make a group of 10 people exactly, I've always been the queit one who's sort of left out, on of the girls int he group is really nice and her birthday is coming up. I had this great idea for a birthday presemt but couldnt buy it alone (too expensive) so i got one of the other girls in on it, then one after one they all entered the pool and it's now a group present, and they're all kinda taking over and im so afriad that in teh end she wont even appreciate it or y'know.. i know it sounds selfish but i really wanted her to know it was from ME and that i put time and effort in to it, but i cant tell her since we're all paying for it together, and its from us all, you know.. i just kinda hate it. I wanted it to be a special gift and now its not. Should I just forget about it? Or do i have anothe option? Remember: im the quiet one of the group so i cant really say anything to them

When you get the present all together volunteer to be the one to wrap it and bring it to the party. Make sure this girl sees that you brought it and also try and be the one to present it to her. If your friends insist on doing it themselves remind them that you were the one who came up with the idea in the first place.

and i've tried basically everything.
certain dri. and that new stuff by secret.
doesnt help. nothing does.

Go to your doctor and ask for a prescription deoderant. There are certain kinds that you apply during the night and you dont sweat for 2 weeks. I'm not sure what the name is but you have to get your doctor to prescribe it to you, which im sure he will. good luck =)

Okay so my one friend keeps telling me that my other friends ( who doesn'treally get along with me anyway ) is calling me a whore behind my back. My one friend is standing up for me but she says that my other friend is saying that im a whore because my boyfriend of 7 months and i make out during movies - i understand yeah maybe she doesn't want to see it but the thing is his dad hates me and we can NEVER see each other and thats pretty much the only time i can do that with him its getting really hard ! i just want to know if i really am a whore for this or is she just being lsfijsdlf ?

Personally i don't think your a whore. Sometimes it can be hard to look at someone else doing it so maybe she just feels uncomfortable. She might also just be jealous that you do that with your boyfriend and she doesnt [ unless she does ] I doubt this girl is a good friend so don't pay any attention to her. Shrug it off and she will eventually stop. Some people mature later and wont go as far as other people so it's really just a matter of prefrence. Its not her fault she thinks thats weird but she still shouldnt be calling you that. Don't let her make you feel like one and just forget what she says and live your life.

My dad died in febuary and he was a drug addict but really trying to quit before he died, he never wanted me to turn to drugs but I did
And I did before he passed.

and one time I was about to do drugs and I was walking down the hall to the bathroom and my dads ghost appeared and started walking towards me and he gave me this face like kinda sad because he didn't want me to do those things.
I fell on the floor crying my eyes out and I feel so bad about everything and how I still didn't stop after that happened.

I can sorta relate to this question becuase my dad died too. I think that your dad was probably trying to tell you NOT to do drugs. Use his death as an example to know what happens when you do drugs. if he was still here he would definitly not want you to do them. so dont. they ruin your life as you probably know becuase you saw your dad go through it. just.. DON'T DO DRUGS.

theres this guy in my 7th grade class this year (I'm 13/f by the way) and from the beginning of the year he's been nice to me. we didnt even know each other till this year and he thought it was funny how when me and a couple other kids like on the first day of school rushed in the clasroom (homeroom) to turn on the lights, i accidentally pressed the "private/public" button on the wall and for the rest of the day we couldnt answer announcements. when our teacher said it we burst out laughing since we knew i did it. since then he's always been like.. lets just say spontaneous. hes short but he's pretty popular and athletic and funny, too. sometimes when i didnt want attention he'd give me it anyway and would make me laugh.. though sometimes it was awkward because i didnt know how to respond. like this time he was like dancing around me in the hallways and all i did was smile! grr! i wanna show how funny i can be too and not just be like.. whatever about it. i've talked to him before but he's the type of person with like good comebacks.. haha he makes interesting convos but i dunno why i cant be entirely comfortable talking to him. i mean i can talk to me other guy friends well. i guess its cause hes so outgoing and popular? no i dont like him as a crush and he doesnt for me either. like today when he danced around me like a couple of the other popular kids (i know its bad to label, but im like middle-popular.. i hang out with basically everyone whether they're popular or not.. just as long as they're fun to be around and stuff) were laughing kinda loudly.. he was with them before.. so i wasnt sure if they were laughing at me or something. so.. yeah. weird situation. cause we were just walking back from lunch and they were still in the hallway when i came (i finished lunch late.. long line) by myself. like the guy im talking about is always like that.. i mean its funny and nice.. but i dont know what my problem is about it. why i cant just let go and stuff. maybe im afraid sometimes of being outgoing with outgoing people.. its easy to be outgoing around shy people.. but i guess it just depends on the person. im just so confused! i hope i dont seem like boring or anything to him cause im really not. and well.. i dont know if he's just trying to be friendly or like bullying me. he doesnt seem like the type to be bullied and im not the type to be bullied.. ugh i dont know what to do. is it bullying? is it not? how can i get good come backs? etc???

Yeah this always used to happen to me. I don't think he's bulllying you becuase he wouldnt dance around you and give you alot of attention like that if he was being mean. He sounds like a nice guy and you sound like your nervous around him becuase he's really intimidatingly funny. This used to happen to me all the time. I can't really tell you what to say but just kid back with him. Push him away and roll your eyes in a joking way if he dances around you again. I used to be just like that until i just thought to myself that i am just outgoing and funny as they are and i can be comfortable around them too. Sometimes having your friends around you helps too so if you see him and wanna talk to him tag a friend along. Hopefully you can be yourself around him next time =) good luck.
