Yes, find an icon or layout you like, usually try and find something like a sold color that you wouldn't mind be reapeated becuase it comes out in a lot of little ones not just one big one, know what i'm saying? then go to Column Settings on the blue bar on your left under the heading where it says Welcome,_____(your username) Once your on the column settings page, paste it into the Page Backround Image (URL).

Not really. All you can really do is mess around with the colors until you find some that you like, and you can add a background. There's not a layout code like on myspace/xanga.
To get a background go to an image hosting site with as www.tinypic.com.

find a picture you like
upload it to tinypic.com
and copy and paste the URL into the
"background image" box :]
