Well this is cats nature.
Cats bring you things like
gifts. The reason she brings
them in the yard its like a
present for mom. They are saying
"LOOK MOM! I BROUGHT THIS FOR YOU!
I CAUGHT IT FOR YOU!" basically.
Now, you cant STOP this because
this is how all cats are. They do this.
You can put a BELL on your collar to
try and warn the creatures that it may
be stalking. You can get them at petsmart or
petco. They attach to the collar.
NOW. if she does it again. TELL her youlove her
and that she really doenst need to bring them to you.

Aw, that sucks.
My cat used to do this, too, I think.
The only option I can think of is to get a little garden fence (from like, Kmart or Walmart in the gardening section,t hey're cheap) and this should help keep the cat in.
I mean, it's probably too late to scold her for that, because she probably wouldn't understand, so I'd just reccomend the fence thing.

She's trying to make you proud, she wants you to be impressed. That's what I heard somewhere, like "Look what I got!" type of thing. But it's in their genes, they can't help it... it's in their biology and it's wired into them. Maybe don't let them go outside because if you tap their nose violently/aggressively then they won't understand.
Best of luck

Sidney

I had the same exact problem with my cat just recently! Its a simple answer, figure what time of day your cat does most of her killing, (night or day) and make a curfew for her. Like my cat killed during the night so we made sure he was in by 5:30-6:00 and he hasnt killed anything in a month. Usually rodents and little animals come out during the night, especially if they know a cat is around. Your cat is most likely doing her killings during the night so everyday call her inside and keep her there until the next morning. Hopefully this works! good luck to you and your cat! =)

Try getting her a collar with a little bell on it. That will warn the animals that she's coming and hopefully they will get away. The other option is to just not let her outside.
