Ok so I am 13 years old and I want to start babysitting. I'm not sure if there are laws on how old you have to be (I live in England.) Is 13 old enough? How would I go about it?

I'm thirteen and I'm a mothers helper. Theres deffinitly not a law! Just make a bunch of flyres and put them in like younger kid schools and shopping places.

When ever i babysit for this one family, they never pay me until weeks later. Im kinda shy to ask for it..but what should i do?

Hey, just be like to the mom or whoever and be like im saving up for a sweater or shirt but i dont have enough, i hoped i could get babysitting money.

It may be but, if you bring a bunch of fun games and things to do then i think it'll be ok. I babysit for a 3 yr old and she lovedddd the puppet i showed her, and i made up an obsticle course for her. Bring coloring books and crayons!

ok me and this girl are pretty good friends i mean we've done sleepovers movies went to a bat mitzvah together and went trick or treatin together!! well shes jewish and im not well newayz she recently sent out her invatations.... but im not invited! i mean i thought we were friends after all of that but i guess not! i almost cried but i didnt because i found out at school! but newayz ya! and when i ask her about it she just acts like she doesnt hear me or anything! it makes me so mad bc she invited people she barely knows and then she doesnt invite me! what shud i do!

You should call her up on the phone and if she doesnt answer you or hangs up then forget her! Shes not worth it if shes like that. If you really need to find out wut her deal is send her a letter or try to get her face to face talking to you.

2day my family and i(14) found out that my older sister (27) has a tumour down there, and is supposed to be haveing surgery in a week. after that they will be putting her on keimotherapy(sp?) and well if none of those cure her, she will then only have 1 more year to live..im so scared of loosing her!

Just think about the positives, how much fun things you did/do together, and all the memories that you shared. Exspeacially how much she loves you as a sister! She will always be in your heart! And she might live longer then a year.

Well depends, if its for younger kids go with a disney movie like beauty and the beast, cinderella, snow white etc, if its for older kids then hmm well in my school we did annie, wizard of oz, sound of music, greece, charolottes web!

My exbf chris and I broke up 5 months ago. I broke up with him but heres my problem WE GO TO SCHOOL TOGETHER. He hates me and I honestly dont knw why. I am completly over him and I used to want to be friends with im but I just gave up. Everytime I see him in the halls I get this funny feeling in my stomach. IDK what it is. I am not gonna lie I still care about him, and its like he thinks that its a crime if I care about him. He is sooo mean to me and I try and be nice but it ends up bitting me in the ass. What do I do? Well you shouldnt completely ignore him unless he is being mean or whatever.maybe you get a funny feeling because you still think about your relationship and what not. I think its good that your being nice to him, because it shows that you are a good person.

Okay, here goes. My best friend and I have been friends for 14 years (We're both 19 now). We've always been there for eachother, always were together, etc. But about 3 months ago, I introduced her to one of my other friends, and then she completely changed her lifestyle and appearance (as in the way she dresses, acts, and stuff) to be just like that person and she's not the person I used to know anymore. Our friendship started getting weaker, so I changed my style to be like hers, and our friendship got to the way it used to be again. But about a month ago, I didn't like my "new lifestyle" so I changed back to my old on, and now our friendship got weaker. I've tried as much as I can to bring it back, I talk to her and try to fix our friendship, but it's not working, she gives me the "sorry attitude" and then blows me off. Now we're hanging on by a thread and it seems the more I talk to her, the farther we grow. I know this is because I introduced her to that person (her new best friend), and I'm starting to regret that deeply. They're inseparable now, and I'm feeling so awful because I just lost my best friend of 14 years to this. Now they spend every waking hour together and I mean nothing anymore.

Friendship gets really hard when your older. Dont blame yourself for introducing her to her new "bestfriend". If she doesnt want to listen to you about how you think you should fix your friendship then your better off without her. I know it will be really hard to, but you might want to make a new friend, and she will be sad that she lost a great friend like you!

i've been kinda cutting myself...it was kinda stupid at first but now it's serious. my life is kinda like crap rite now. grades, family, friends, and love...all that jazz. sometimes i feel like i just randomly wann cutt myself. i hate it. i know there is other ways to work it put but i don't wanna talk to my family and i've already talked to my friends. please help me and don't just pick on or make fun of me...really answer this question.

That would be messed up if someone picked on you. The best thing you can do is go to a counselor, in your school, he/she will keep everything confidential if you dont want your parents to know. Try looking up some websites bout treatments.

I'm a 13 grl and I'm really self concious about my body. I always think I'm fat but my friends say I'm not.. But I think they r just being nice.. I've thought about becoming anerexic. I know how it hurts ur body and stuff but I dont care. I've eaten less in tha last few days. Am i becoming anerexic? How do you know if you are?

I used to be self consious of my body and my friends tell me that im not but i dont konw, i have also thought about annerexia and i know that i will never do it. You shouldnt do it, have you been trying to eat less or are you just eating less? Sometimes i eat less then usual but i dont not want to eat im just not hungry.
If your annerexic you will not eat any meals during the day { i've heard} just remember that anerexic is a serious eating disorder disease and you can get really sick. The only thing to do to " get skinnier" is to go on a appropriate diet. Just member that it doesnt matter wut you look like on the outside it matters bout the inside!!!

Dont say that you need to be a better daughter, cuz you probably are a really good one! Just talk to you mom sitting down and ask her why she yells at you and if she yells at you for asking that or doesnt answer you then thats wrong, then maybe you should go to a counselor in your school.

Im in student council and we have elections for officers (pres, vice pres, secretary, treasurer) tomorrow. I kinda wanna run for vp but my friend wants to do that too and i don't wanna run against her becuz i don't want to run against a friend. I could possibly win but i don't want to do that to her and if i don't get to do my job with the class officers (not student council officers) i'm gonna be mad. We decided that we were gonna nominate each other, but i'm not sure i want that responsibility that comes with the job. I don't want to run for any other positions because i don't quite think i can do those as well. On the other hand, if i don't run, i can still do my job as a regular student council memeber and hang out with my other friends. Should i run for vp or just not run at all? plz help soon. the elections are tomorrow.

Thats the same thing that happened to me, i wanted to run for pres,but my friend was, then i would wnat to do vice but another one of my friends were and it came to treasurer and once again another friend was so i ran for secretary adn unfortunately lost but if you feel that you would do a good job then you should go for it! Make sure you tell ur friend that whomever wins it wont change your friendship. Good Luck Hun!

okay.. my b/f gave me a condom just in case we went a little too far one time.. and i kept it in a little compartment of my purse that no one really notices.. well when my b/f was over today.. my mom washed that purse! and i walked in the room.. and the zipper for the area was unzipped.. but the condom was still there!! ahh omg! what could i say to make my parents think i'm not having sex?! please answer this! i'll rate 5's to anyone that answers!

Well I have this friend. He is really nice and I can be honest with him about almost everything. The problem is there is this one thing I'm not sure I can be honest about.He thinks my other friend (one of my bestestest friends) likes him. I asked her if she really did and she said no. I know I have to tell him so he doesn't get hurt by asking her or something but I don't know how. Any tips on how to break it to him? Should I really tell him? I'll rate high. Just tell him straight up that she doesnt like him, not in front of people and i think you should do it in person. He will probably really apreciate it comeing from you and not some weirdo lol. Your a really good friend thinking of your friends feelings.

ok so my bf and i have been dating for a little over two years now, and i always have trouble thinking of things to get him for his birthday/x-mas. his birthday is new years eve, so i need two things to get him. he's not the typical guy, like sweaters and cologne are not the type of things that he would like. i got him a wallet for graduation, picture frame last year, so none of that would work, and he already has a really nice watch. any, ANY ideas would be GREATLY appreciated...thanks a lot...i'll rate high!!

Maybe if you registered a star and you can get a telescope and show him the star that is just for you and him! { i got that from a movie lol}. Also ingraveing his name on a necklace or something. Maybe if he's a sports perosn get him some sports stuff.

Dont do it yourself even if you have sterilized stuff. It will probably get infected if you dont go to a professional.

I just got my period in July sometime and i use pads but i have her people say that tampons are so much better and LESS MESSY. but i am SOOOOO afraid to use one because just the thought sickins me. I'm asking people from experience....does it hurt the 1ST time.

Well i dont use one but if your not ready to use one then dont. Usually you dont have to use one when you first get your period. I've heard that tampons are pretty easy to use. If your not sure of how to use it ask your mom or read the box.

Okay, about two weeks ago, I told one of my really close guy friends that I liked him. I thought I did because I knew he liked me ALOT too.. He would do anything for me, etc, so I thought that I liked him too. So I told him. But now Im seeing that I really dont have those kind of feelings for him at all. I feel horrible because he seems so happy now because he thinks I like him back... I dont know what to do :-/ I really dont want to talk to him about it because its really messed up.. any advice on how to handle it without talking to him? Thanks in advice.

I used to like my best friend guy a while back ago,but then i didnt. though i never told him until we decided that we didnt want to be friends ne more. I think that your friend will be fine with it just tell him that you see him more as a friend and not a guy friend ne more. And dont feel stupid!
