i'm so stressed out about track!

i even missed school because of it today ( and my headache )

i'm a runner && at practice i do fine! its like not really hard but i sweat, ya kno.

but heres the thing, i'm not mighty super fast ( sign ) nor can i run like miles at a time.

its really stress-ful because i'm like average at everything. so yesterday i went to throwing. i'm so frusterated! i can run a mile fine in like under 12 minutes but i CAN'T run a quarter mile under 2 minutes. i'm so ahhh..

please give me like advice, encouragement, or sumthing. i was supposed to have been signed up for an event already, but i'm not. meet is tomorrow @ 4:15

I am assuming you are running for your school. Therefore, at your age it's more important to have fun! Which event do you like the best and enjoy the most? Sign up for that one. If you focus on one area you will get better and better at it.

Yep, it sounds like you'll get it pretty soon. But it could be a few weeks. Bring pads to school and go to the bathroom regularly to check it make sure you don't have it.

i would like to know the approiate age to wear make.. can anyone tell me if so how much make up. and is it true that it ages your face and it will get ruined faster then an average person would age because of make up?

I started with make-up at twelve with just mascara and lip gloss. So I'd say around 7th grade you can start wearing make-up. Make-up won't ruin your face unless you don't take it off.

does diet soda really stunt your growth? i drink it a lot and people have told me it stunts your growth. is this really true?

No but diet soda is extremely harmful if you drink too much. The chemicals they use to make the soda sweet without sugar is very bad for you. It can possibly even cause cancer (scientists are currently testing it on rats). But, this won't happen unless it's the only thing you drink.

my eyelashes are kinda short and straight.. so if i curl them, how can i make them look longer and thicker?? any good mascaras or tricks that work well?

Use a volumizing mascara. I use one from Avon and it looks great.

Yes, you can wear tampons in the ocean. It's really idiotic how people say you'll get attacked by a shark by wearing one. If you are in like five feet of water a shark won't attack you. It's too shallow for them to swim there. Yes, sharks are attracted to bloo but you'll be safe. It doesn't increase your chances of getting attacked by a shark unless you're like 100 yards out or something.

My computer won't let me on Iternet explorer(i'm using mozilla firefox though) or anything like My doncuments, control panel etc. when I try to click on these things it pops up "windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" then it says send error report or don't send i clikc send but it doesn't really help. what could I do to make this problem go away? could it be from were i keep my computer on 24 7?

Do you have cable internet? If so keeping it on 24 7 isn't good. Actually, it isn't good to keep your computer on 24 7 anyway. It's easier for viruses to get into your computer. It's a possiblity that's what happened. Turn you computer off for a while and make sure you shut it down every night.

heyy yaa..okay so i have this friend right and she annoys the heck out of me!!! She is just sooo annoying. Anyways we have been in many fights before and they have always started because she did something mean to me and what did i do yea i forgave her but i really dont want to. So today right she made me this scrap book of me and her for no reason she just did and it was so gay! Her mom can't decide who you have to be friends with. If I were you I'd aviod her. She's a bitch anyway =]. When she talks to you try to be curt (vocab word!!!). If her mom tries to force you to be friends with her AGAIN get your parents to stop her. Because she has no right to do that.

Is this appropriate attire for a morning wedding?

To be honest, weddings are usually a bit more formal than what you have chosen. Like dresses the whole nine yards. I'm not sure how formal the wedding will be so this may be OK, but ask someone that you know is going wether they think you should wear a dress or not.

im in choir at school and on the announcements they said that everyone in choir had to go down to the choir room. so we did. and we found out that our choir teacher is leaving after the end of this year to go get her masters and conduct colleges! she was crying when she said it and we all cried too. she is the absolute best teacher. shes so understanding and we all love her. she is more than just a teacher

how can we show her how much she means to us and show her that well miss her SO much?? DONT say stuff like having everyone sign a card or buying flowers. thank you!

How about you write a song and sing it to her. Or pick a meaningful song and sing it to her. Get everyone together from the choir and have "secret meatings" where you practice the song and stuff. I'm sure she'd love it.

If I were you I'd give it a few days. Have your broken up with people right away in the past? Then you don't really know how it turns out with the people you like. Have you gone on and were still unhappy? If this is the case then break up with him right away.

To make something bigger:
< font size=67 > (or whatever number you want).
< font color=blue > (or whatever color you want).

Take out the spaces between the < > but leave the spaces betwenn font size and font color.

my friends have been bugging me about how i have been taking 6 - 8 advils a day. they think i have really bad headaches because i tell them that. but sometimes i take them just for the heck of it.. my friends think that one day i will o.d. but i told them i wont. i also said i stopped taking them, but i havent.. i just dont want them to worry.. do you think im addicted? i dont, but i was wondering what you all think.

Well, no one can diagnose (sp?) you over the computer but it sounds like you might be addicted. Let's do the math to see how much you are supossed to take compared to waht you are taking.

There are 24 hours in a day. I'm just going to say you sleep for eight of them. So you have 16 hours left. You are allowed to take 2 pills every four hours. Therefore, you should only take 8 which you do.

However, by taking them everyday you will grow a dependency on them. And I have a feeling you have one. I advise you talk to your doctor so you can get some help.

im going to dye my hair tomorow and i need some tips (im doing it myself not at a salon)

how can i get it to last longer.. it always seems to fade comepletely out within a month and im only aloud to dye my hair every 6 weeks so it looks stupid

and it says to not wash it for 24 hours.. if i wait 48 will it look better?

and im going to giant eagle to get my dye (they have like loreal, revlon, etc)

is there any brand there that is better than another?

and does sallys sell hair dye and if they do is it better than what i would get at giant eagle?

By not washing your hair the day before it'll look better. Just like curling your hair if it's dirtier it will stay longer. Possibly, it would last longer if you waiter 48. I'm not completely sure but it's worth a try. Sally's would probably have better stuff, since it's a beauty supply store.

Alright, I'm 13. I've been getting my period for about 6-7 months and it was pretty regular. Well, the time's passed for me. I was supposed to get it about a week ago, but I never had sex (and don't plan to for awhile) so I don't know what's going on.
