Job

Question Posted Sunday March 26 2006, 12:57 pm

What kind of job can a 14 year old girl get?
I am almost 14 and need a job badly. My parents barely have enough money to pay the bills. I want to help them out. Please no babysitting. [if this helps i live in PA]

How nice of you =].

Be an umpire for baseball games
tutor kids in your neighborhood [most parents pay big money for private tutors in music or education]
Some fast food places hire at 14, try B.K or Macdonalds.

okay well i live in pa too. (pittsburgh to be exact)

i know mcdonals is always highering 13-16 year olds. you can also babysit ( i make $10 an hour doing it its amazing money) along with mowing lawns shoveling snow etc.

also you can check local summer camps. like at the one im my community you only have to be 15 to be a paid counseler.

also local YMCAs higher young teens to teach indoor swim lessons and stuff. if your from my area lemme know i can try to find you soem places

it's kind of limited but you can work at a fast food place, reffing for a sport (my friend did it when she was only 13 & they pay about 70$ a game as my friend said, but you have to get trained), and i think you can like bag stuff at Acme or something. go around to any of these places and get applications. goodluck.

you can be a ref for soccer or basketball. that's usually pretty good money.
you can work at a nursing home doing various odd jobs.
look around in the paper to see who is hiring. <3
