I can see where you're coming from - it bothers me when people (kids) throw around the word "love" without really knowing what it is.
However, age cannot determine how mature a person is. That's why I say age is a state of mind, not being.
At the risk of your thinking I'm a know-nothing kid who thinks she knows love and doesn't, I'm sixteen and I truly beleive I do know what love is.
When I was fourteen, I thought I did - but then, you have to experience what it isn't to know what it is. You've gotta have something to compare it to. It's like - if we didn't have depression, or sadness, we would never know what happiness was.
Please consider this before coming to the conclusion that everyone who uses the word "love" when they're at a certain age means "lust" instead. Snappishness and bad spelling is not a way to get people to agree with you.

If you're looking for broadway songs...
"On My Own" from Les Mis is great for an alto. Eponine sings it, if that means anything.
Also, I reccomend "I Dreamed a Dream" Fantine sings that.
That musical has a lot of good songs for altos.
Let's see...Hmm...Jekyll and Hyde - I reccomend "A new life" or whatever it's called...If you're actively involved, you probably know what I'm talking about. Lol
You could probably get away with singing something from Rent, too, if you want something with a more rock feel.
Get a musical theater anthology - anywhere they sell music, they should sell that kind of thing.

I don't think you ever REALLY know whether it's just a hobby or you really want to be a writer. I mean, writing to me is a hobby, but I'm working on my third book, along with tons of short stories.
As far as learning more grammar, the best way to do that is to just write. Both my grammar and vocabulary expanded when I started really writing. School, loathe as I am to admit this, actually helps with the whole grammar thing.
If you want to learn how to publish your writing, get a copy of Writer's Market. It's a guide to publishing.

That's perfectly normal - you're one of the lucky ones. Mine used to last for 5-6 days >.<
3 or 4 days is about the length your period should last once your cycle regulates itself.

Guys that think a lot of people are hot tend to be a little fickle...just a warning.
If your friend does that whole "I-don't-want-any-guys-to-like-you-so-I'm-gonna-make-them-like-me-instead" thing, and you've confronted her, there's not much else you can do except to make her realize that the way she treats you is really kinda bitchy and that she needs to stop. She may realize this on her own.
As for the guy, it's totally understandable that you don't watnt to push him. You said he didn't respond, though. If I were in this situation with this guy, I would ask him what was going through his head because I like people to respond when I talk to them, lol.
If you want to leave it alone, it's totally up to you. He may approach you - you might want to wait awhile, then remind him.
The decision is yours, obviously.

I would track this guy down and ask him what was going through his head. He told you he thought you were hot. You told him you thought the same thing, then told him you liked him and he didn't respond?
That's cheap. I'd ask him "hey, remember when I told you I liked you? Yeah, what was going through your head about then?"
But I tend to be blunt. ^_^
If you want to take a more subtle approach, try telling him again and see how he responds.
I wouldn't just forget it. It would be driving me crazy!

Some guys are really turned on by kissing or nibbling on his earlobe. Some aren't. You can try it - you'll find out quickly if it turns him on or not. ^_^

Wow, you don't want to lose that much weight that fast! That's dangerous.
Eat right, work out, and you'll probably lose some weight, but not 20 pounds in four weeks...
I had this health issue and lost four pounds in less than two days - I felt like CRAP. Not fun.
Eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Drink a lot of water, excercise - walk, run, etc.
Be patient - you'll lose weight - maybe not as much as you want, but you will lose some.

You're perfectly normal. We all worry about the way we look - some people just worry more than others.
I'll go through days getting compliments, or after hanging out with my boyfriend, and think "gorgeous" when I look in the mirror. There are also days when I look and think "eww..." and want to change every little tiny imperfection that I find. (Those days, I find loads.)
I know I'm normal, so you must be too if you worry about little imperfections - I think we're all perfectionists at heart about our bodies, especially girls.

If things he's saying are bothering you, you need to approach him about it. Tell him it bothers you when he calls you sexy, or cutie, or whatever. He might just be trying to get you to smile, or whatever. You gotta talk to him about it, though.
If he doesn't stop once you've talked to him about it, tell your mother.
I say go to the root of the problem, then detour if you can't get through. ^_^

My original plan at the beginning of my junior year was to stay away from guys, and be single for the rest of high school. Needless to say, that plan died when I met my boyfriend, whom I will have been dating for 9 months on the fourteenth.
I had originally planned to wait for marriage. That plan died, too. I agree with you that sex should be something special you share with the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with, which is why I let my original plan die. I think of sex as the ultimate expression of love, and needless to say, I love my guy with all my heart, and we're planning to stay together as long as we're not sick of each other (We joke about this because his three other girlfriends got sick of him and guys usually get sick of me after about two months).
So, I agree and disagree. It is possible to find the person you're going to stay with for the rest of your life in your teens. I'm sixteen - I believe I may have. Just thought I'd put in my two cents. ^_^

Never, EVER change yourself for a guy. If he's gonna like you, he's gotta like you for who you are, not who you're trying to be.
Just be yourself around him. Talk to him, flirt with him, do whatever you want, but DON'T change.
Chances are, if you're you - and you're likeable, which you probably are - he'll notice you. Don't try to GET him to notice you...let him. He'll figure out that you're cool on his own.

Yes, the reason sex is painful is because when insertion occurs, the hymen is ripped. It's like tearing a thin layer of skin (which is what the hymen is). That's also why girls bleed - its like a cut, but more of a tear.

I'm sorry to tell you that there's no way to get a guy to like you. If he likes you, he likes you. If not, well...maybe he'll see the light. Maybe not. Guys are really iffy.
Your best bet, since you've already tried this guy out and the relationship ended, is to move on and look for a better possibility.
BUT, if he does like you and wants to try it, go for it.
If you're the nervy type, you could easily tell him you like him and you'd like to fill the position mentioned in his profile...^_^
That way, you could get things in motion and find out what he's thinking.

Next time a guy stares freely at your boobs, snap your fingers in his face and tell him he should be talking to your face, not your tits. You've gotta assert yourself, babe. If you don't, they'll just stare at you all they want.
Also, when you get older, guys will be a lot more mature about this kind of thing and they'll actually talk to YOU instead of your body.
Young guys are awful about that. (No offense, guys)

Alrightie, if you have a really fast metabolism, which you appear to, chances are you're gonna have trouble gaining weight. Don't worry about being so skinny. Revel in your littleness...lol.
You may bulk up later, you realize. You're only 14.
If you're really WORRIED about it, though, get your doctor to check you and make sure everything's okay.
If not, relax and be patient...^_^

At the end of a weight-loss thing, you may plateau out - get stuck at a certain weight for awhile. Just be patient and don't do anything drastic. That weight will probably come off slowly.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of guy friends...most of mine are guys. I only have about five really close girl friends. It shouldn't matter whether they're guys or girls, as long as they're good friends.
Girls are hard to befriend...lol 'specially if you're a girl yourself.
Maybe your mom should talk to your guy friends - get to know them a little. That would probably help with her perceptions.
