Heyy all im 14/f. I`m going to my grandparents house tomorrow until sat. My friend is having a sweet 16 party and said i could invite a guest. i really wanna to go to the party but idk if im gonna no anyone there. so i invited my other friend, and a few days ago we got in a huge fight and im pretty sure shes not going with me now. Now i cant find anyone else to go with after tomorrow I wont have anyway of getting a hold of people cause my cell doesnt work and they dont ahve internet. so idk how im gonna get ahold of anyone especially the girl whos having the party. so i lied to her and said my grandpa is really sick so i have to go help my grandma take care of him and i cant go to the party i promised her id take her outt and make it up to her when i get back but still its her sweet 16 you know? HELP PLEASE!

so what is it you want us to help you with? there's no point to this "problem"...so you lied...what more is there to it? do you want to go to this party? if so, go! make new friends :] as for the lying part, you should've just told her the truth...but it's not like she's actually gonna call and see if your grandpa is actually sick or not. so don't worry about it...

ok i am going to be a freshman and im not even going to try and hide it. i am very freaked out. my older sister says its no biggie but seriously i am a very sesitive person and i cant really handle getting teased or picked on without turning red or becoming insecure about whatever whoever happened to tease me about. and i am going to get lost (we dont get our scheds until the first day).
so does anyone have any advice about what to do on the first day or what NOT to do on the first day? advice with bullies, teachers, or red facedness will be greatly appreciated and rated.

don't worry about it! high school is JUST like middle school but a little bigger. just handle any situation like you would before! it's not a big deal..i mean i was nervous when i was a freshman, but now i'm over it. (i'm a junior now)..as for bullies, there are no "bullies"...just people who crave attention and pick fights because they have nothing better to do. teachers expect more out of you. that's pretty much it. :] everything will be FINE. i promise!!

My best friend is just like me exact! i mean we say all the same thing at the same time and everything! she taly alsome! we do everthing to gether.Do u think well stay best friends?

i always feel so ugly my friends are gorgeous and have boyfriends no matter what i always feel left out or outta place what do i do to gain self respect and a more pretty appearance

lol yeah that's how i feel like all the time too. i guess it's a confidence thing. i'm sure you're not tragically ugly but if you do want a prettier appearance, maybe you should try wearing makeup--it makes a HUGEEEE difference. also, start acting confident...and sooner or later, you'll stop 'acting' and actually be confident--and don't bash yourself like that! be happy and give yourself compliments. i'm sure there's somebody out there that is jealous of you!

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to increase your max. limit of feedback rating points from 250 to 350 (or anything)?

Hmm I kinda have the same problem. What you should do is start talking to him more on AIM or myspace or whatever. Get to know him more and then he will know you exist :]

Hi i went to the doctor but he said it happens to nearly everyone and i shouldnt worry about it. I do not agree with this and have been thinking about changing my doctor but i dont see any point if another doctor will say the same thing. What do you think? I find that doctors well some are not really proffesional enough to find out what the cause behind some health problems are, in my case rapid heart beat. I think it is quiet a serious problem because it has been happening for along time but nobody seems to take me seriously not even my parents. They think i focuse to much on my self and that is what is causing it. I do not believe i do this. I try different things all the time to try and get a balance in my life but nothing seems to work. I do suffer from anxiety i know this could be a big part to play with rapid heart beat but i thought that this would eventually stop happening but instead it seems to be an on going thing which i am afraid will be with me forever. Any advice or good ideas to help with my situation would be appreciated.

Well, I honestly don't know how to help you except to advise you to get a second opinion. You never know what another doctor might say. Also, it couldn't hurt, right? If YOU feel that your heartbeat isn't normal, then YOU should INSIST your parents on getting YOU help. My mom didn't believe me either--she thought I was weird or something until I finally went to a doctor who then referred me over to a cardiologist. Don't let this continue...it might be something serious.

God, I have a real problem. When I first came to Jr. High last year I was myself 100%. I didn't give a care what people thought about me, or who my friends were. Then in the middle I started changing my looks and the way I talked, and I found myself ditching my old friends (who were kind of geeky) to be friends with newer and more popular ones. And it worked! Some of the popular people hang out with me now. But I feel really bad now. Now that im friends w/ the popular kids, I feel like I dont even need my old friends. I even LIKE my new friends more than my old ones. So tell me... am I a total selfesh jerk for ditching my friends? And am I weird for changing myself?

No, you're not weird! I did it too...I felt kind of bad though because I left my old friends behind, but I guess it was for the best. I mean most people eventually grow out of their younger self. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself--but don't totally ignore your old friends. At least wave or say 'hi' to your old friends when you see them in the hallway. Also, you said " I feel like I dont even need my old friends. I even LIKE my new friends more than my old ones." So you see, at least you're happy :] Everything works out.

Hi ive had this health problem for about 3 yrs now and it just doesnt seem to go away im writing about it to see if anyone shares this problem. I dont really want to ask anyone is else because its abit weird, well so my parents think. First of all my my heart beats really hard and fast and then it feels like a really really strong pulse around my body like my veins are are exploding. I know it sounds really strange but its really uncomfortable and happens nearly all the time. You know you can feel your heart beating well i get that feeling around my whole body especially in my hands, it feels like their going to explode. Im sure thats not healthy. Hope someone replys and doesnt think im to strange lol.

Ooh I had this problem a couple of years ago. I felt my heart was beating A LOT faster than it should...so I went to a cardiologist and she found out that I had a leaking heart valve. (I don't know if this is your case, so please don't assume you do.) Anyway, she prescribed me some medicine that I took for about three years--and now my heart beat is normal and I don't have a leaking valve anymore! :] so my point is, you're not weird and you should DEFINETELY go see a doctor.

Well, there's light, regular, and super.
They should only be left in 6-8 MAXIMUM.
You should use the right absorbency according to your flow...like if you have a light flow, don't use super!

abercrombie clothes is GOOD QUALITY. seriously, they last for a longgg time. i'm not even kidding. people buy their clothes because it's cute-they are really durable. I always think..you pay for the quality--and i know A LOT of people hate this store--but it actually isn't so bad. all of my clothes there have NEVER ripped--and the "paper thin" shirts are sheer--and they make those EVERYWHERE. also, ALLLL clothes shrink in the laundry eventually--so idk why you're just applying this to abercrombie.

I started using Acne Free about 5 days ago, and since then my face has been itching like a beast. Has this happened to anyone else? It's started clearing my face us, but it itches so bad and dry patches are forming! My moms making me stop using it, is there anything else thats just as good? (Not ProActive, we can`t afford it)

wowww STOP using it! lol it's not suppose to be like this. Try using Clean & Clear--It's affordable AND effective. I lovee it. :)

hey i need to know if u could have a baby in the sims 2 for ps2.....If could then tell me.......

1.Unlock love heart bed.
2.Then, come up with the guy (make sure the couple is in bed)
3.After a couple of minutes, a sign comes up saying "accept or forget".
4.PRESS ACCEPT!
5.After all is done, the woman will get out of bed...look at her belly.
6.Each day it will grow.. It will take about 4 days (in sim days)
7.Then, after those days, your screen will automatically zoom to the woman. The woman will make weird noises... After a tiny baby comes out, another sign will appear.
8.It will say:: Congrats! It's a Boy/Girl.
9.Name the baby..It will start to age as well as the adults that made the baby.

Neosporin?? No, no don't! That will just cause bacteria to enter it (like the person below said)..and idddk isn't neosporin for cuts and scapes and stuff? Look, there are instructions on the box and to make things more comfortable, use Tampax Pearl (but the cardboard one is fine too). Otherwise, don't put anything on it! They're made to go in easily and fit in comfortably.

I'm not one to wear a lot of make-up, at all, but I've decided that some once in a while wont hurt. Right? Well, if I was going to put some one I want it to look good and not like I don't know what I'm doing. I would just like to use some eyeliner and some mascara, but I want it look really nice. There's this girl that keeps calling me her best friend and she constantly clings to me. She's an ok person and I think of her as a friend who'll I talk to once in a while, but in no way do I consider her to be my best friend. She's a nice person and I don't want to hurt her feelings, but how do I get her to leave me alone?

Aww. She probably has little to no friends. That's pretty sad. If I were you, I wouldn't tell her to leave you alone-That would make her feel horrible. Just keep being nice to her but try detaching from her if you really do dread being her "best" friend. --But please don't tell her to leave you alone--imagine if one of your best friends tells you that they don't want to hang out with you just as much anymore...Wouldn't you be hurt? I know I would.

If you really just want to get away from her, don't tell her, but try to slowly detach. If she passes you in the hallway, smile & wave. Don't keep leading her on, because eventually, you'll explode on her, and she will be extremly hurt.

Okay the past days I've been thinking about this. There is this one guy that I REALLY like but I don't know whats better having a frienship with him or have a relationship with him. I don't really know whats better. He likes me but my fear is that I might someday lose him and I don't want to lose him NEVER want to lose him. So I need you guys some help here.

You should have a relationship with him because if you don't, you're always going to wonder what would've been.

I mean, assuming you're a teen, you're going to want to have plenty of relationships before you find "Mr. Right". I think what you mean is--You don't want to get hurt. Well I'm sorry to tell you this, but sometime in your life, you're going to get hurt eventually.

Anyway, back to your question, you should go out with him. Take a risk & you never know what may happen. Who knows? He may be the love of your life OR he may just be a guy that passes through your life and makes you stronger.

Jesus, I just got back from the Spelling bee. I had been studying like a fiend the night before (From 4:00pm-10:00pm), I had the whole Paideia memorized, and I was almost sure that I would be headed for Washington D.C. in a few months. OMG! GODDAMNIT! It was the first round, and they gave me a really easy word, and I completely forgot the word. The word was "notary." Isn't that an easy word? I bet everyone here can spell that word. I just blanked out on that word and forgot. They rang a little bell, and that signified that I was the 4th person out on the 1st round. I suddenly remembered how to spell the word when they rang the bell, but it was too late. I lost.

All of that hard work----flushed down the toilet. If it weren't for that stupid word, I know I could have won. I have never lost a spelling bee in my life. I need to talk.

Anyone who at least tries to make me feel better gets a 5

Hey, you can't change the past. All you need to do now is to get over it. Really, it's so easy. I mean, I know losing feels like CRAP..but what can you do about it?
Go shopping & buy yourself something pretty!
Reward yourself for attempting. This will be a funny story for your kids later on.
Laugh about it..I mean, at least you weren't the first person out of the first round!--That would suck. haha
