Hi i went to the doctor but he said it happens to nearly everyone and i shouldnt worry about it. I do not agree with this and have been thinking about changing my doctor but i dont see any point if another doctor will say the same thing. What do you think? I find that doctors well some are not really proffesional enough to find out what the cause behind some health problems are, in my case rapid heart beat. I think it is quiet a serious problem because it has been happening for along time but nobody seems to take me seriously not even my parents. They think i focuse to much on my self and that is what is causing it. I do not believe i do this. I try different things all the time to try and get a balance in my life but nothing seems to work. I do suffer from anxiety i know this could be a big part to play with rapid heart beat but i thought that this would eventually stop happening but instead it seems to be an on going thing which i am afraid will be with me forever. Any advice or good ideas to help with my situation would be appreciated.
Liam

You never know what another doctor might say. Also, it couldn't hurt, right? If YOU feel that your heartbeat isn't normal, then YOU should INSIST your parents on getting YOU help. My mom didn't believe me either--she thought I was weird or something until I finally went to a doctor who then referred me over to a cardiologist. Don't let this continue...it might be something serious. [ mn731's advice column | Ask mn731 A Question ]
