I didn't know what to put this under. My mom and I want to help out with the tsunami disaster by sending $, but my mom doesn't think it'll help. Like it won't be enough. What do you think? Should we send the money or no?

a friend from school died about 3 weeks ago from cancer. now one of my close friends has cancer too. its making me so incredibly frustrated and upset and angry and so worried about my friend all at the same time. i need someone spiritual to please give me a new outlook on all of this, because right now i can't stop praying and questioning why the hell things like this happen.

i hurt my wrist playing volleyball about a month ago. my dad told me it was sprained and it would stop hurting in about a week or so. but my wrist has been hurting for a month. i can't do pushups or lift anything without it hurting. what do u think i've done to it? i rate high!
ok I sprained my wrist to and it hurt for a month so no worrys! What you should do is take some cloth or if you have that special cloth to wrap around wounds and stuff or just a towel or somthin wrap it around your arm and keep it still! dont try to move it or use it as little as possible. If the cloth doesnt work go to any store like cvs pharmacy or wallgreens or walmart or somthing and ask for a hand cast its not a real cast its a black or wat ever color they give you thing that goes around your arm/hand and it is velcro and it really helps so my advice is to do that feel better soon!
Okay , I like this guy, and he just told me that he likes me too, we have a problem. Me and him arent sure if we should start dating because Im friends with his sister, and his sister will NEVER buy the fact that me and him were dating...and we wouldnt be able to tell our parents because we wanna have sleep overs and stuff, but i mean we dont plan on doing anything at the sleep overs, we just wanna see each other because we live an hour away from each other, but anyways, my question is, should we date behind his sisters back or tell her with the fact we both know shes not gonna buy the whole thing...???

forget about his sister and parents for a min. and think to yourself is this a good idea? Is he the right guy for me? am i ganna do somthing wrong if i date him? and file out the goods and bads. What I like to do is put his name on a pice of paper and put a line in the middle of the paper on one side write all the good things about dating him and on the other side write all the bad things about dating him. Listen to your heart. Sit down and talk to your friend/his sister. I have a twin brother and I know it gets hard when people start dating him and there my friends but you have to think hes happy and hes making somone else happy tell her that. Well the best thing to do since you already told them witch im still suprised that they are still hitting on you! If she is your best friend talk to her she will listen tell her that shes not the girl for you and I hope that you will forgive me. For the other girls try to do the same and dont worry boys/girls come and go but friendships are forever! You have to ignore their flirting if you love your girl then you wont let her go. She will be hurt if you flirt with those other girls and i know that its really hurts. Listen to your heart and dont let go of your girl.
I hate reading. We have to accumulate so many points per quarter.Like we read a book then we take a test on it and you get points for the book depending on how many questions you got right on the test. But i hate reading. I don't like any kind of books and i think ive already read all the books in the library! Maybe not..but still..i hate reading! Does any one have any tips on how to like reading? Or any good books to suggest? and our quarter 2 cut-off date is jan 7th..i have no points!! i need to get 13..any tips on how to get my reading done?

theres this friend I have.. she hates being fat.. she gains weight really quickly.. recently shes been purging.. I tell her the stuff that can happen from doing that and i want to help her stop.. shes been doing ok but she made herself throw up again on christmas and boxing day cuz her parents made her eat alot and she didn't wanna screw their xmas up for them.. I want to help her but i really dunno what I can do for her now...she doesn't listen to what I say about what could happen to her health cuz shes sticking pens down her throat and stuff.. her parents force her to eat meat and she hates meat so she wants to throw that up too.. please give me advice on what I can tell her to help her stop or what I can tell her to tell her parents to be more understanding about her being a vegeterian without letting her parents no what my friend is doing.. thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I think you should tell your friend that she needs to stop making herself through up thats discusting! Tell her parents that she wants to be a vegitarian and that they should be open to her opinions! And tell your friend to tell her parents to. If she want to lose wieght tell her to eat healthier and to walk every night or somthin what i do to lose weight is that i have one junk food day during the week and im only aloud to have like 2 junky thing that day and the rest of the week im eating healty and not eating deserts and stuff maybe that will help her! best of luck to your friend and happy happy holidays!
To get down to it, I'm a 15 year old girl and a 22 year old guy likes me. I've known this guy for a few months and have become really good friends with him. I didn't know he actually had a crush on me till a few weeks ago. This guy is really nice, very sweet, he always cares about me. He always wants to know how I feel and how he can make it any better. He calls me practically every night. He trusts me and I trust him. We've talked about our feelings for eachother... I used to not think of him as anything more than a friend, but now I think I am starting to like him more. We see eachother at least once a week, usually with groups of other friends but I have been alone with him a couple times, once to his house. He has never tried to pull anything on me... he respects my boundaries, yet he shows he still cares. My parents don't like that I even talk to a 22 year old guy on the phone. If they ever knew I wanted to go out with him, they'd freak. I'd like to give him a chance, but I don't know if it's worth hiding from my parents and the fact that he's so much older than me makes the possibility chances of it working slimmer. Any advice on what I should do?
Prove to your parents that hes a good guy! Age doesnt matter in love. If you love him then you can date him. it doesnt matter my parents are 15 years apart and that didn't keep them away from loving each other. Talk to your parents and im sure they'll understand they were deeply in love once and im sure they'll crack sooner or later. Best of luck!
So my mom and my dad fight constantly and they are kind of alcholics...I always find myself crying myself to sleep and wishing that i had different parents...But neway..one night my dad locked me and my mom out of the house and it was so bad that my mom had to call the police on him....I have never done nething to my dad to make him treat me this way....This may sound horribe but im actually terrified of him...What should i do...please i need advice really bad bcuz this is something that has been bothering me for awhile and i never really had the guts to talk to ppl about it......HELP!
I know you thinking how stupid for me to tell you this but, when i had problems with my dad when my parents were getting divorsed they sent me to a theripist. It helped alot and know me and my dad are the best of friends. Maybe you should talk to a school conseler or ask your mom to go to theripy i know it sounds like crapy advice but it really helps. please help me. im 14 and when i was 9 my mum left me and i was left with my dad but my dad blaimed me and he started hitting me and then he has been taken to court but he wont get sent to prison because i cant give evidence because i cut myself and im 'suicidal' so they say im mentally unstable what shall i do i want to die and im scared.
Call a relitive/friend and call a child protection center. They will help. Im sure that your family will be willing to take you in. It's not right for your dad to do this to you. I so sorry bless your heart.

My friends and I love hanging out together. We usually meet up at the same place, go and get a milkshake or something then go back to someone's house. The problem is, we're getting bored of doing the same thing all the time. It's winter now and we live in England, it's freezing so we can't do anything outside. Neither of us have much money so we can't go bowling or to the cinema. Does anyone have any ideas of things we could do together? There is about 6 of us.

me and my best friend have been great friends since 8th grade (were both in 12th now) so we've been friends for pretty much 5 years. i love her to death and i dont know what i would do without her. Were seriously inseperable. About a month ago she met this guy. All of a sudden its like she's dedicating her time to hang out with him EVERY day. I mean all three of us do hang out sometimes but i dont really like it bc i kinda feel like the 3rd wheel. Her ex boyfriend just told me that he likes me but i told him that i only like him as a friend. i told her that he said he liked me and all of a sudden she asumed that i liked him too and now she is mad at me. the reason they broke up was because she was lying to him and cheating on him with this guy she is with now. The guy she is with now wants to get an apartment. He said i could move in if i wanted but i dont want to because i cant afford it but i dont wanna loose my best friend to him because i lost her once before and i was miserable. Well today i left this guy a voicemail saying mean things and everything to him which i shouldnt but he is really rude to me. He calls me a slut and everything. i've told my friend this but she said well im falling in love with him and all that. I really dont wanna loose my best friend at all! i dont know wut to do and its killing me inside. I tryed to talk to her about it but she doesn't wanna listen to me at all. She told me a few weeks ago the only reason she is with this guy is because he gets her w/e she wants (he got her a diamond ring...a $500 stereo and lets her drive his new car and she doesn't have her permit or license) i dont know what to do!! someone please help!! since this is long ill rate u a 5!!! thanx!!!
You need to give her a lil space im sure shes going to miss you soon. Thats wrong of her to date somone just because he gets her whatever she wants. If you guys are best friends you can talk to him about it you guys are like sorta brothers in a way. so talk to him tell him you do like him and let him know you dont want other people to know. Always be open to him cuz it takes a minute to find somone an hour to appretiate them a day to love them and a life time to forget them so dont lose this one!
