ok so i broke up w/ my boyfriend of 10 months 3 months ago and i was pretty down about it for a while but im pretty much over it now. we stil talk and were friends but i know hes still inlove w/ me because he tells me all the time. besides that when he likes someone he for some reason always compares me to them like shes almost as pretty as u or as smart things like that. i feel guilty b/c i like hearing those things from him b/c hes the only one who seems to think that. i like that he gives me attention and sometimes i manipulate him so i get attention or try to make him jealous. i know its wrong but i dont know why i do it. could it be because i miss him? i also get kinda jealous when he talks about one of his friends that are girls. please help!

My friend always is so depressed. He never has his luck in love. I always tell him we're barely even teens yet and he doesn't know what love is. I always send him links to some good columns o here but he always says he is too depressed to click it. It is getting really annoying. Some of my other friends (including me) talk about how annoy it is and that they don't really know what love is. What should I do to show him this? I rate pretty high.
okay what i think you have a few options here;
A.) tell him that no one you know knows what 'love' feels like and that he will find his love eventually because were styll young
B.) tell him stop being depressed cas hell never find real love if hes depressed cas depression is a turn off
C.) talk to him about how none of you and your friends knows what love is and they will all eventually expireence it
or
D.)explain to him that if he feels sorry for himself hes never going to find ssomeone who he can love forever

Alright..well I consider myself a pretty outgoing person!! But recently people have been telling me how quiet I am! I never realized I was quiet...lol I mean I am EXTREMELY outgoing and crazy with people I know...but if I just meet someone I am shy but sooner or later I warm up to them! I am afraid people will think I am snobby if I first meet them and I'm shy..you know? I want to be able to be outgoing around everyone...not just people I know! Also this is around the same problem...when I am with my boyfriend (if I have one at the time) I am shy too and I don't know why! I could know him for a while but I get shy and quiet! i think you should just relax. i mean when your around new people adn your boyfriend you want to leave a good impression... u cant think about that too much . just stay relaxed and calmn and be yourself!!!

Ok...so i asked a question before and you really helped me so im counting on u again...this one's longer but here is goes...ok so i have this friend right? well he's so sweet hes hysterically funny and just one of the best people to be around....well i've started to like him but i still act the same...like a friend... i don't flirt with him or anything because now my other friend likes him...and it just so happens he likes her and they are going out...well my friend knows that i kind of like him and she never really minded much...but now shes all over me because i made this away message that said call me and then the kids name ...she got super pissed and started saying stuff like i won't talk to you anymore if u keep trying to take MY man and you bitch you no he likes me why you got to have him call you so now i'm like crap shes mad over my away message that really meant nothing....so now tomorrow when we go back to school i dont know what her reaction is goin to be or if shes goin to talk to me or if shes goin to do something serious like punch me in the face cause thats how mad she got with me... you gotta help me bri...i dont no what i'm suppose to do or say to her...she thinks i'm trying to steal her man but im really not...i mean what kind of friend does that?....

I asked a question the other day about ADD and how I should tell people (mostly teachers). Well, I told my mom that I needed to go to the doctors to get checked for ADD. She told me I don't have it...I just want to claim I have ADD (which is stupid...). I just want to know, so that I can fix my problems in school, and if I need medication, I can get it. I told her that things are taking longer to register in school and she said "well, yea, because its harder". When its really not. I have a math teacher I had freshman year. It used to be so easy and his pace was fine...he works at the same pace but now I can't pick it up that fast. He often talks and I get off track (its not boredom...I used to be able to control my boredom and still focus...I can't do that anymore). I lose focus really easily. A lot of times (mostly at school) I don't finish things I start (such as flashcards). My mom said that if I had ADD she would be able to recognize it as a mother. She said she would have difficulty getting me to function. Which a lot of times she does. I'll admit half of that is because I rebell against her, but a lot of times I realize she tells me stuff (not just her, people in general) and I'll look like I'm listening but when she leaves, I'll realize that I don't remember ANYTHING she just said. I often say stuff without thinking...people would say "but you just said yes" and I won't remember saying yes, nor will I remember thinking about saying yes...it just came out. I am around my mom a lot, but I don't think enough to where she realizes I have it. I haven't always been like this. I used to be smart as a child, in reading and all. Now I feel SO stupid, its embarassing. My mom doesn't think I have it, and when I told her, she kind of laughed and said "I don't think you have it" like I was stupid. I don't know what to do now. Now that I've told my mom, and lots of other people and no one believes me. But I keep a lot of things to myself. I might act like I know what I'm talking about (referring to a book or something) but I actually have no clue, because I couldn't focus. If a teen thinks they have ADD and researches it, is it wierd for them to admit that they might have a problem? I think my mom thinks that its something the parent is the one who notices, not the kid...but I'm the one who noticed...
Whats the next step I need to take? Now that my mom thinks I'm crazy....
well you might have it. i think you should talk to your teacher, jsut say 'oh what are some of the signs for ADD because ive been struggiling w/ work and paying attention' teachers will never laugh at you. as for your mom, she probably hasnt noticed your actions. even if seh had she probably wont take you tot he doctors because seh wont want to belive theres anything wrong. so go to a teacher or school nurse and ask about symtoms. then theyll tell your mother and seh cant get mad at you becuse u tried to talk to her.
