Cortizone-10 works really well, it's an over-the-counter cream that should be available anywhere with a pharmacy. You can put it on up to 3 or 4 times daily, but I've found that once or twice is good enough, it works really well. Only thing is, it might make your face look a little greasy or oily, so maybe put it on before you go to sleep at night and wash your face in the morning. Hope this helps!

That's a very common problem, unless it's like a /lot/ that comes out. It can be caused by a weak bladder wall or numerous other things, and if you talk to your doctor he can perscribe you pills or other medicine to help it.

Sorry it's so long, but I desparately need help. This is an easy 5 because there's so many things I need help with. Alright, I've asked a bunch of questions on how to get my crush to like me, and it looks like I just need to ask her out! I need some help doing that, though. First: I want a nice special way to deliver it, like they did at the end of Bye Bye Birdie. Can someone help me there? Also, someone suggested writing a poem for her, I suck at poetry, can someone give me tips? Besides, her name doesn't have any rhymes.... Then there's my parents. They've been betting on whether I'm gonna get a crush before my best friends (we're all nerds) and obviously don't know about me and my crush. How can I tell them? Note: I'm a shy person. Come to think of it, where's a good place to ask her out to? I don't really see any worthwile movies out apart from the Aristocrats, which I can't see until I'm 17. So what's a good place? Dinner? And finally, there's rejection. What happens if she says no? I'm a shy person, and I really don't want to have her say no... Hi i am a 23 years old muslim girl from leicester. Nowadays i am recieving numorous witheld number calls and threatening text messages. I have had a relationship with a guy who i have no contact with. First when i recieved the text i thought they were send to wrong number. But it's everyday now that i recieve them. Each one has threatening message like "i will kidnap you" unless i do what he wants. Now he has warned me that he is going to send pictures of my relationship with the guy to my parents. I am very scared and confused and can't even sleep. I don't want my parents to know because my dad has recently had an heart operation and i can hurt them.
Please help me find a solution to this problem as i can't go to the police or tell family or friends.

Honestly, I think you /need/ to go to the police, this is a very dangerous situation. If you absolutely won't, however, change your cell phone number right away. Don't wait, there's obviously someone out there who knows you fairly well, like a stalker. If you change your cell number and still get threatening calls or notice anything unusual in your daily surroundings, /do/ /not/ /wait/ to go to the police. Hope this clears up for you.

Are kilocalories and calories the same thing?
First off, a Calorie is different than a calorie. Note the capitalization. A calorie is the amount of energy required to raise one gram of a substance by one degree celsius. One thousand of these make a kilocalorie, otherwise known as a Calorie, which is the common label on food products. Hope this answers your question.

Completely normal...your period can take up to 3 years to regulate its flow. However, if it's accompanied by cramps that can't be helped with panikiller, or really bad headaches, talk to your doctor, sometimes they can perscribe birth control to help regulate the flow if they think its abnormal. has anyone here graduated early, or is trying to? see, last year i took a class most people in my grade didn't, and will take next year. so i'm already ahead in math for most people in my grade, so i don't have to double up. but i'm thinking of doubling up on a lot of stuff. i might take 2 maths next year as a freshman (geometry and algebra 2) and whatever i need to do to graduate early. so, how do i go about doing this? i'm really not sure. and if you have, how much earlier did you graduate? is it really hard?
the reason i want to graduate early is because i moved here a few years ago (from Florida to Maine) and I really really hate it here. I've tried to like it, and it didn't work. And while you're young, you're supposed to really enjoy it, and this is supposed to be the best time of my life, supposably. But it hasn't been since I moved here. So I just need to get out of here asap. Like, I'd rather go to high school back down in Florida, but my parents obviously aren't going to move back down there just because I want to, so I have to wait until I'm out of high school and everything, I guess. Yeah, help?
I think waiting a year after grad. to go to college is a great idea, a lot of colleges like to see students who have gotten some "real world" experience under their belts. Just be sure that you /do/ go, and don't get caught up in life without school.
I'm graduating early, as well, I'm supposed to be a junior come fall but I'll be a Senior. It was a little tricky for me to finnesse my schedule so that I met all my graduation requirements, but I'm a year ahead in all my subjects anyways, so it wasn't too bad. Usually the only problem with graduating early is that people don't have their math or english credits...but it doesn't sound like Math will be a problem for you and I don't know about English. I decided to graduate early as a sophomore, so I was *pretty* lucky that I had taken enough of the required classes, but since you're going into Freshman year that shouldn't be a problem. You can either graduate at the end of junior year or a semester into senior year. If you want to double up on math as a freshman that's great, but if you're going into geometry anyways I don't think you'd necessarily need to. I don't know how the math classes work at your school, but I was in Algebra 2 as a freshman so I could get into Calculus 2 as a junior...so if it works pretty much the same way maybe you do want to take Algebra 2. Depends on what you want to do in college. Take AP Classes if you can.

How do you give good advice? Should you include personal experiences or would that make things confusing. What are some good tips when you want to give somebody advice, like things you should make sure you do? I like to give advice and help people, but I'm not always sure how. I rate 5's for any answers - please help me out on this. Everyone should help so that anyone who reads can get better too. Thanks!
Add personal experiences and say what you feel, but practice a little discretion, don't say something hurtful or potentially harmful to the other person. Sometimes, though, it takes honesty. Make sure you put thought into the question, and the possible outcomes if someone takes your advice. Just think of what you would do if you were in the situation, or if you /were/ in the situation, make sure you tell them what you did and what happened. If you made a mistake, let the person learn from that, and suggest something else. If you have no experience or don't know anything about what the person is asking, don't leave advice, let other people answer it. Read other people's advice before you give yours, it can help you build suggestions and gain new perspectives on the problem and possible solutions. Just tell it from your heart, sincerely, like you mean it, and it will be good advice. Hope I helped!

I know exactly where you're coming from. Truly. If you feel that you guys are supposed to be together, you have to tell her in person. Tell her how you feel about her and what makes you feel that way...the things that she does that you like, and why /you/ feel those things. Maybe don't use the word 'love' right away when talking to her, you don't want to freak her out by being too intense right away, but talk to her more and get to know her passions, her fears, her everyday life. You can't necessarily make her love you, but you can try to show her why 'she's the one.' Trust me, as much as this might seem scary, you don't want to miss your chance. Okay, I'm sorry, but this is going to be REALLY long.
I was at summer camp last week, and i went with a bunch of my friends. We were having oodles of fun, and there was this guy there that i have liked for EVER! He lives near me and i see him alot, but he has never acted interested in me before. Now, at camp on...Tuesday, during the night game he sat next to me (on a loveseat) and started to poke my knee. So i poked him back. then he took his elbow and dug it into my hip so i jabbed him really hard in his side....it was kinda funny. Then he took his hand and kept putting it on my knee. I wasn't comfortable with that so i kept pushing it off but he wouldn't stop. Then on Wednesday he asked me to play tetherball with him, i so won. then we played pingpong, and i definitly lost. Then on Thursday it got REALLY weird. First I was in crafts and he was in pingpong. Those two games are in the same room. He lost in pingpong so he was sitting down. He called me over and told me too sit on his lap. I did not!!! Then I sat next to him in the chair next to him. He asked for my hand and i said "why" he said he wanted to see somthing. So i held out my hand. Then he just started holding onto my hand and stuff. I was really uncomfortable with this. After that my team and his team were assigned to go to the pool togeather. So while we were at the pool i did NOT want to go swimming. He kept splashing me and trying to push me in, and i was in my cloths! Then i got sick of it so i just jumped into the pool, cloths and all, and dunked him. Okay. He kept holding my hand all day and stuff and on friday, I was really uncomfortable with it. Then on friday everyone in camp catchs him making out with this girl!!!! Now i dont know what to think!!! I dont want to yell at him or anything, cause he is going through alot of problems and he has always been able to talk to me about them and no-one else. So i dont want him to think he cant. what should i do!!!!????
He was probably getting some kind of sign that you didn't like him, since you weren't holding hands or sitting on his lap and were basically giving him signs that you just wanted to be his friend, and he moved on to another girl. I would suggest talking to him and telling him that you like him a lot, and you have for a long time, but you weren't ready for anything physical and just weren't comfortable with it at the time. Ask him if he was just flirting with you like a friend, or if he likes you as something more, and why he would kiss the other girl if he likes you. Make sure you tell him what you said here - that you want him to feel like he can come to you for help with whatever he's going through and you don't want anything between you two to end that. And be sure to tell him that you're not yelling at him, and it's his choice what girl he likes. I hope this helps!

ok there is this church- it's REALLY close to me, and it's the church all my friends go to. They also hold a youth group there- also where all my friends go. But my problem is, my family hates the preacher and preist, and they hate us. But i REALLY need religious guidance, and i thought it'd be cool if my friends were there with me. And all my friends went to summer camp -- without me! lol, see the camp was held by the people from the church, and my parents wouldnt let me go! So they have all this fun at camp and they know SO much more about God than i do.. so to tell the truth, i really have no idea who/what God is! I cant read the bible because (to me) it makes no sence!! too many big words.. lol. I want to go to a church.. I REALLY do, it's just i feel like my friends will have more to talk about without me. And i dont want them to go to a differnet church, because that would be selfish. I love God, I do! BUT WHAT THE HECK DO I DO?!?! I rate high!
Talk to your parents seriously, it's unusual for a young person to have strong convictions about wanting to find their faith without their parents' guidance. Tell them that your friends go there, and you'd like to share in the faith with your friends, and grow spiritually with them. Give them a chance to tell you why they 'hate' the preacher/priest, it might not be something irrational or something you shouldn't look over, but hate has no place in Christianity anyways. Suggest that they let you try going to the Church for a few weeks, and then if they feel that you're not having an experience they think you should have, you won't go anymore. If they still don't let you, find another church. However difficult that may seem, if you really want to get to know God and be a Christian, you shouldn't let this stand in your way. Hope this helps!

okay 7-12 in our school is in highschool.. and im goig in 7th.. and im kinda scared ill get confused and stuff and i wont know where to go (ive been going to this school since 2nd grade but i dont know the highschool that well) please help me and tell me your experinces of your first day of highschool
lol, on my first day of high school, I wasn't even there! My family was at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells ;) But I'm guessing that's not what you needed. Seriously, don't panic. It's really not a big deal. As to finding your way around, I discovered a little trick. My high school, and every other one I've visited, has room numbers like 324, which would mean 3rd building, 2nd floor, 4th room. It's an easy little trick to finding your way around by room numbers. If your school isn't like that, I'd just go there sometime before school starts with a couple friends and just run around and find all your classes and lockers and stuff. Helped me before I went to high school. And if you ever get lost, just ask someone where to go, they'll be nice and tell you :). Teachers usually are lenient for about a week with being late to their classes because they know new students are trying to find their way around. Hope this helps, have fun!

My friend Alex told me he didn't like his girlfriend Katie anymore. I asked why and he said it was 'cause he hadn't seen her all summer. I was like "well that's okay, you guys'll get back together at school." The later he told me he just didn't have feelings for her anymore (still summer). I told him he hadn't seen her and to just wait 'till school before he broke up with her or anything like that. Then later he told me he took his other friend's advice and broke up with her. At first he said Katie took it well, but then later Alex told me she IMed him saying she was gonna kick his ass at school. Now he's pissed off at ME for, in his words "not telling me clearly enough what to do." BUT I told him not to break up with her! How do I make him realize it's his own fault and not mine without just... well... accusing him of it being his fault? I RATE VERY WELL!!!!
Tell Alex that he shouldn't be relying on you to make /his/ relationship decisions for him, and even if you did give him advice, it was simply /advice/, it was still up to him to decide whether to take it or not or what he wants to do. He should have his own mind and not simply be waiting for someone to tell him exactly what to do and how to do it. Just tell him that he took his other friend's advice, but it sounds to me like even though he's suffering from the consequences, he still made the right decision. If Katie's going to "kick his ass" when you guys go back to school, it doesn't exactly sound like the relationship was very firm. Just tell your friend it's not your fault, it was his decision, and he'll come around. Hope this helps!

I have looked around a bit myself for the following question, and I will only take serious answers.
I would like to ask for links to text documents regarding revelation, and all the signs pointing to the return of Christ, and the end of the world, so to speak. I need info on the Anti-Christ. Some people believe he is already born. Some believed it was Hitler. Some believe G. W. Bush. I want opinions on this also.
For example When Israel becomes a state of its own, after that generation passes, Christ will return.
This is not exact quote....Obviously. However I need info of this nature. This is one of those signs. I need as much text and documents as I can possibly get.
Second, I need as many opinions from every perspective as possible. I.E. Atheists (I don't want "God doesn't exist. Don't worry about it.") I want reasons and such as to why you don't think it exists. All Beliefs are wanted here.
From what I have gathered, the Bible states after all signs are completed, Christ will return, and people get into Heaven, and the likes of this nature. The anti-Christ will be born. Do his 7 year business. Things will fall apart. Hell will be on earth, and so on. Most of the signs are done, and the end is near. What do you all think about this? I want as detailed answers as I can possibly get. I myself think the end could very well be soon. If you want to talk with me on this outside of advicenators, you can do so. I was raised as a Christian, but often believed in different parts of many religions such as Hinduism, Paganism (which is not devil worship, it is simply a religion which is based in the belief that the earth is sacred), and most recently, thought of converting to Judaism. I have studied most religions in depth, and have come out with the belief that they are all different philosophical perspectives of the same thing. So I call myself an Agnostic. Here is what I think. The Bible used to be separate writings by various people who believed they had found the answer to life's existence. All had found some higher power in their lives, something that gave their lives meaning. Let me share an anecdote that I learned. Catholics and Lutherans were arguing over the Vatican and the Pope in an English class. It was very close to being divided straight down the middle, and the teacher came up with a solution. She placed a plant in the middle of the room, between the Catholics and Lutherans, and said "This is Fred. He is all-knowing, he is God. He is your higher power, your absolute truth, your meaning to life. I would like you all to draw Fred." Everyone drew Fred. When they had finished, the teacher said "You have all drawn Fred. Yet not one of your drawings looks exactly alike." Case and point. One clever student said "If we took a photograph, Fred would look the same." To which the teacher responded "Would he? You are all looking at him from different points, or, in the case of your higher power, from different backgrounds, upbringings, and perspectives of the world." I think this is the most important anecdote that has gone into building what I believe. I believe that each person must seek out his higher power, his absolute truth, and the thing that gives his life meaning. For each person it will be different, if only a little. My higher power has more to do with humanity than with an all-powerful God. If there were some Great Soul, I would think of it in the Hindu sense of Bramah, or in the Jewish sense of that God being shattered into tiny particles of light, each of which makes one soul on earth. Collectively, humans, and the living, breathing earth, and it's harmonious celestial dance throughout the universe, and all of the intricate workings of time and space, are eternal, and have meaning. Collectively, we are able to produce an answer to life, and it is all ideas come together, it is all human emotion, all passion for life, all human experience, conglomerate into one soul, which we become a part of, and our ideas perpetuated through it, when we die. The essence of life; thought, ideas, a soul, love, emotion; none of these can simply cease to exist when we die. We cannot create Artificial Intelligence because we do not yet understand the nature of what makes this ability to form ideas and to learn, but I do not think that it can simply cease to exist when we die, I think it must become a part of something so much larger. I used to think that we were prisoners of our own minds, but now I believe that we are simply limited by our perspective and our understanding. I believe that your mind is only limited by how far you can travel in it, and how many ideas and perspectives you can take in. I believe that true wisdom comes in the /want/, the /need/ to seek out some higher understanding. For that, I think you are wise. Okay, so I just briefly outlined my philosophy on God, Religion, and Life, and reading over it, I think I see a new perspective within my own. God exists, but not as a ruler sitting in the heavens watching life go on underneath him. God /is/ life, God /is/ love, God /is/ humanity and all ideas mixed into one.
Also, a note on your Anti-Christ. I do not think Hitler was the Anti-Christ, because the Anti-Christ could not teach the world so much. Think of what we have learned from him: The danger of unfounded prejudices, the knowledge that this must never happen again and what we must do to ever prevent it happening. The danger of ideas and the ability to convince the masses of them in conjunction with brilliance, for Hitler was brilliant. He came along at the right time with the right message and the right means to achieve what he wanted to achieve, power, and he did it. Truly evil though he was, he was brilliant. I also do not think George W. Bush is the Anti-Christ. He is doing what he believes is right, and is doing the best he can to guide his country through difficult times. I do not believe that he is solely after oil in Iraq, although I note the pattern throughout history that whenever America starts a pointless war it is always with the reasoning of "making the world safe for democracy." The world is as safe as we can make it, we cannot possibly eradicate all evil. We cannot possibly make absolute peace until all people are united under one government with one common goal and common beliefs, and that is one of the most dangerous forms of conformity. I'm rambling. I've told you my philosophy on life, and on religion, and on the Anti-Christ. It is simply my viewpoint, take it for what you will.
One last thing, about Revelations. I do not know very much about it, but I would like to draw your attention to a passage in the Koran, passage 9:11. It says something like "And the snake (symbol of middle-east) shall invoke the wrath of the mighty eagle, and there shall ensue such a great and terrible war as has never been seen by the likes of man, and it shall eradicate hatred and evil, and shall strip the land and create balance. And after the war has taken its course, there shall be a period of great peace throughout the land, and once more a Kingdom of Heaven shall be on earth." This sounds very much like what is happening right now, and as all the three religions claiming a common patriarch in Abraham (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) have predicted similar things, and all seem to point to this time period and the events that are happening now, I believe that they are coming to pass. I hope this helps, and I feel thoroughly drained after thinking this hard about my own beliefs ;). Anyways, hope to hear from you sometime again.

ok so my tonsils are huge and my troat is red, i already have big tonsils uut thye are really big it not strep, it stings a little bit when aswollow ive been risning with salt wter every hour but thta doesnt help, any suggestions?
Talk to your doctor, you could have tonsillitis or any of the more serious infections that are associated with it, such as viral meningitis. I doubt that the latter is the case, but talk to your doctor right away just in case. When I had the same thing happen, my doctor suggested that I have my tonsils taken out because they were so huge, and I did, and it's helped SOO much, like I haven't had anything since. Hey guys, this is gonna sound really retarded, but I'll ask anyway. Well it started when my brother asked me if I'd read the harry potter books and I said no, they're really stupid. But then he convinced me to read them, and now I'm on the 5th book. I really like them, it's kind of funny, because I always thought they were stupid. But anyway, I'll get to my question. My best friend likes them too, so we wanna have a harry potter party. I know, we're so stupid! So does anyone know what we can do, other than watch the movies and stuff? Anyways, I'm hosting an HP party at the library where I work, and here's what I'd suggest. Sort your friends into Houses, and then do HP trivia, to win house points. (It would work with just two people, more is cool, but with two you can have a Gryffindor/Slytherin face-off :) ). Discuss your best prophecy theories, if you haven't read the 6th one yet, and theories on Snape...he's one of the most important characters, I like your shirt ;). Also, you'll /never/ guess who the Half-Blood Prince is. Well, back to the party. Make snacks that are related to the book. Cockroach clusters are good, (carmel, chocolate and pretzels mashed together), licorice wands (licorice), go to the page in Prizoner of Azkaban that tells you all the sweets that Honeydukes has, and use your imagination. :) And there's always those Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans...vomit and Horseradish flavored ones are NOT for the weak stomached. Wow, I just thought of something really funny. I live in Southeast Wisconsin, and we're the only people that use the word "bubbler." Everyone else refers to it as a water fountain...lol :). Glad we could clear that up :D
