I got a sun burn about 2 week ago.It's still sort of red and peeling. I don't think that is normal because it hasn't lasted that long before. Should I go see a dermotologist?

Normally, when it peels it means it's starting to clear up and all of the damaged skin is coming off. But, it is an awfully long time to have sun burn. The longest I've had it was about a week.

If things don't clear up in the next day or two, definitely go to the doctor. They can give you medicine to keep on it and they will let you know if it's sun poison or not.

Wear sunblock!! The sun is now hotter than ever and is causing a lot of skin cancer.

Hello, I am dealing with a woman who is crazy!! She is my Kid's stepmom. The kids are 2 girls 9 and 11 and one boy age 8.
Problem is she is way overly sexual toward my kids verbally. And now sexually. I found out from my daughter today that the stepmom and her father went on a camping trip with their combined 7 kids all in one tent. They had loud motion filled sex in front of the kids while they were supposed to be sleeping!!! My two daughters described it all to my horror. Is this illegal? They have sex with their bedroom door open. Her rules are always open doors, because bad things happen when doors are closed. She told my daughter all animals go to hell when they die.She told them a man may rape you and rape is when they have sex with you , and are sick of raping you and kill you when they are done with you. She talks about their sex life while driving in the car. Her oldest daughter talks openly about blow jobs and oral sex on women and she is 12. They go down the road having open sex talks!!! What happened to singing or talking about the disney channel?The list goes on and on. The woman is a 2 time convicted felon for child endangering and robbery and a 3 time misdemeanor for shoplifting. Their father is now brainwashed by her and hasnt seen his kids in 2 months. I live in a nice home with a wonderful fiance and a perfect home life filled with love. I am afraid that a judge is going to make me send the kids to him eventually . I have custody, he has visitation. Any legal advice? Any pschological input on crazy?? Thanks!!

Take it to court. Seriously. If you could, get your daughter to testify and tell the judge the things she has been told and has heard. The judge will give you full custody and he would make it so when the father has visitation, someone would have to be in the room with him and the kids at all times.

This just doesn't sound safe for the kids to me. No person in their right mind would say those things in front or directly to children that age.

Lucky it isn't me. That woman would be long gone by now....

i asked this question already but i couldn't see the answers for some reason so here it is:

i really like this guy and i think he might like me back, hes been dropping a few hints and stuff but like he didnt flat out say that he liked me... (yet?) we've only hung out like 3 or so times. im seeing him again this weekend at a party and theres gonna be alcohol there. hes not really a big drinker but he does a little bit, and hes friends with everyone who does. this is gonna sound really stupid but my question is, should i act a little tipsy around him? because i kind of want to see if he'll take care of me and stuff. please don't tell me to act myself and stuff its not like im gonna get flat out drunk, im not like that. i just wanna see if he really does have feelings for me and stays with me...which he has before at a non-alcoholic beverage party. oh and like everyones gonna be drunk, so i dont want him to get the wrong impression of me thinking im like a big party pooper, i wanna be fun, cause i am fun =)

I answered this question the last time you posted it. But here is what I said.

First off, guys don't like girls that act dumb or drunk in this case. Don't do that for attention because it could make things really bad, especially if he's not a big drinker to begin with.

Now, when guys throw hints at you that they like you, they really do. When you go to this party, keep conversation going and flirt.

To be honest, he'd probably be more impressed if you could handle yourself at a party rather than being drunk and falling all over the place (or acting drunk.) Not to mention, if he thinks your a "party pooper" because you don't get drunk, he's a loser anyways.

Just have fun! Remember, he likes you for you! There are other ways to see if he'd take care of you.

Well, it depends on if you bought it brand new or used. Most Mitsubishi's are good cars and are good quality. I think it is reliable but like I said before, it depends on the miles it has if you bought it used.

You're 13, you have years to go before you have to even think about sex.

But, just for your sake ;]
It does hurt, REALLY bad. Probably the worst pain aside from giving birth. I don't recommend it.

I'm not exactly sure. There probably won't be any more Zoey 101, well at least not for a while anyways considering Jamie Lynn just had her baby and she probably won't have time.

As for Drake and Josh, Drake is into his whole singing career now, so more than likely probably not.

I haven't heard anything so far but those are my guesses anyways.

okay so school is coming up and i have no job or money as yet. I've applied to over 20 places and none have called back as yet so the job thing is off the list for now. My mother wants me to babysit her friends kid while they go away for the weekend and i'm going to get paid $100.00, But the thing is that we don't have a relationship at all, we don't talk, she's always attacking me physically and verbally and whenever she wants her favours done, she uses me...i want to do it because atleast that's a start for me then my dad would give me some more money on top of that for school shopping but on the other hand; i don't want to do it because she's just using me..like she always does and i would have to ride in the car with her down there and that's gonna be sooo awkward..so would you do it? yes or no? your opinions are greatly appreciated..thanx:)

Well, technically she isn't using you if she pays you to babysit. Considering you could use the money for school, I would do it. But if it bothers you this much then after this I wouldn't do nothing for her. Why is your mother friends with her in the first place if this GROWN woman is attacking her daughter like that? When you say physically, you mean hitting you and stuff? If not, that's what physically means just so you know. But, I would do it if you really wanted the money. If not, I suggest you don't do it. If it was me, I wouldn't do it unless I absolutely needed the money. But then again, money isn't worth being treated like dirt by someone like that.

so my boyfriend and i have been together for 6 months and he lost his cell phone so i have no way of calling him and talking unless he calls me and he goes on AIM once in awhile so its like we go 1- 3 days without talking and it drives me crazy he doesn't think there is anything wrong with that am i being stupid or is there really something wrong with that??

and another thing is he didn't necessarily accuse me but he asked if i have ever cheated on him.. he asked so randomly and i said no i haven't why would you even ask that? and he got all defensive and said hes been thinking about it for a long time and just needed to no if i have.. but it was so weird and then he told me he had to go.. so i asked if he cheated on me and he said of course not and then he just signed off.. without saying by or anything .. and he hasn't talked to me since and that was Tuesday .. does anyone have an advice on what i should do ? or say to him?

It could be something, or then again it could be nothing. If ya'll have been dating for 6 months, then you should be a little more open to eachother than people who date for a month. The facts are, normally when a guy asks if your cheating, he's insecure. It could mean, he's cheating on you and just wants to know if your doing it too, OR it could just mean he thought you were and just figured he'd ask you.

Boys show emotions in weird ways sometimes, but then again so do girls. My opinion, if you only talk every 3 days and you've been dating him for 6 months, something is definitely wrong with that picture. Talk to him about it. Find out what's going on, because you shouldn't be stressing over something that is his fault, ya'know?

im not really sure what promise rings are..can anyone tell me?

A promise ring can stand for anything.

A father and/or mother can give a promise ring to their daughter to stay pure until marriage. It's a promise from you to them, that you would remain a virgin until marriage in other words.

A boyfriend could give his girlfriend a promise ring and the meaning of it, would be for her to stay faithful and true to him. Meaning, you would be promising him to never cheat on him.

I've already spent all of my fall and winter school clothes money, but my mom has an account at Kohl's so we're going to go there.
But I'm tired of wearing the same basic colored t-shirt, hoodie, jeans, and flats or sneakers or whatever.
Thats basically all I bought so far-- BASICS!

Can you guys give me some insight? No store names, please. I'm perrty restricted.
But how do you mix and match different colors and patterns without looking like you..DON'T MATCH?
What do you wear? Please, I feel totally BLAH!

Well, Kohl's does have really cute clothes!

To start off, I'm not sure what kind of styles you like or anything, but here are some of my fashion tips that I enjoy wearing and seeing on other people!

You know the longer shirts that come almost to your knees? Buy a few, then buy some leggings that would match them. Their really inexpensive and they go great with flats! It's stylish and doesn't cost that much, you can't beat it.

When you buy jeans, buy a variety of different styles. Dark skinny jeans are cute with a white shirt and a pair of cute flats!

Accessories are a must when wanting a new look. Buy long necklaces, all different styles and colors to match some of your outfits. When you wear jewelry with plain outfits, it makes it look more OUT THERE.

Instead of buying regular old hoodies, buy the zip up ones. You can wear with a pair of jeans & a cute shirt underneath, and it looks a lot better than a regular hoodie with jeans.

Upgrading your look, can take time and a lot of thinking. When you go into the store, look at the sales papers and see what the models in them are wearing. I did that once, and bought the complete outfit that she had on and it looked GREAT together!

Okay so
Me and my boyfriend are sexually active, but rarely. The times we do have sex we're ALWAYS protected.
The condom has never busted or anything like that... but I have a question.

Is it normal for periods to be 1-2 weeks late every once in awhile? I'm 18 years old... and I don't know I always have scares like this, I guess I'm just paranoid... but I've been getting the faint stomach pains that always come before my period.. but it's just not coming and i don't understand why. We probably had sex either right after my last period came or right before... I can't exactly remember, but either why it was about a month and a week or something ago.

So is this normal?
Please give me all the advice you can.

It is perfectly normal. I honestly, do not know anyone that has a regular period to the point that they know the exact date it comes.

A lot of things can cause late periods. Stress is one of them. Even if you don't feel stressed, you probably are over-whelmed by something which can cause your period to be late.

Don't worry about it, relax. It'll come.

hey omg my mom door got locked when i left her room and the thing is the doorknob DOESNT HAVE A KEYHOLE so noone can enter oropen the door anymore,what do i do!!!!!!! theyre gonna get mad!!

Use a credit card or ID to try to open it. Slide it through the side where the door knob is.

If that doesn't work, just tell her you were looking for something. Make it up, say you were looking for some make-up or something!

I'm sure she will find a way to unlock it & she might be a little mad but just tell her how sorry you are.

Hi, im 4'11 and I weigh 140 pounds.I've been going though depression so I basically just gave up on myself.But now Im going back to school and I have a new job and I really want to lose 20 pounds.What are some good foods to eat to lose weight quickly?

I'm sorry but no one can lose weight quickly, unless your these famous people who can pay thousands of dollars for personal trainers.

Everything you eat, cut it in half. If you would normally have two eggs, two pieces of toast, 4 slices of bacon in the morning.. then eat one egg, one piece of toast, and ONE piece of bacon! Cutting meals in half really do make a difference.

If you get hungry throughout the day and want a snack, eat lots of fruit and veggies! Apples, Grapes, Oranges, Etc.

Also, Grapefruit really does help lose weight.

Another thing is, just excersize! Riding bikes, jogging, walking everywhere instead of riding in a car, really helps.

UGH! My boyfriend does the same thing and it gets on my nerves too. I think that they just run out of things to say or probably forget to call back. He could be either falling asleep, or out doing something and loses track of time! Don't let it get to you, all boys are this way as you can tell.

If it does really bother you though, talk to him and just joke around and say "Thanks for calling me back, loser!" Then he'll most likely say sorry and tell you why he didn't call you back.

I had an affair for a few weeks and we did have sex 1 time. It blew up horribly when my spouse found things. She does not know we were intimate and I really do not want her to know. She is a wreck and so am I. I am afraid that this will kill her - she is a little unstable right now. Why does she even need to know these details? I can carry this secret to my grave. If this were known, I believe we will end up in a divorce and our home w/kids will be destroyed, and I do not want that to happen! It seems like I remember Dr. Laura mentioned once that a one-time affair (not a long lasting one) didn't need to be disclosed. Why burden your spouse with this. Why dump these rocks on them. Its your burden to carry. Help.

I'm not sure of all your circumstances and all of the details, but honestly, tell her. When you get married, it's suppose to be for life. It is suppose to mean your faithful to them. It's not right for you to lie to your wife and make her think everything is okay when it is obviously not.

If you never tell her, it could come back to bite you in the butt later in life. Trust me when I say, it hurts women the most when you lie to them. There could be different outcomes to this situation. If you sit her down and tell her the honest truth, she might forgive you. I do not believe in the statement "Once a cheater, always a cheater." But it is rare for you to only cheat once and never do it again.

If you really love your wife, you will be honest with her. If you want to make things right between you and her, tell her you want to go to therapy for this incident. Marriage counsling would work wonders. There has to be something going on with you and your wife, that caused you to have an affair. Therapists would love to help ya'll work through this.

If things don't go this way and she leaves you, I can't say I'd blame her. Once you have an affair, nothing is really ever the same. The trust will be gone and she will always wonder if your out doing it again. The best advice I can give you, is tell her the truth. Everything happens for a reason, so whatever the outcome is, is whats suppose to happen.

I have so much going on, and this is making everything worse. About a year and a half ago, i started going out with this guy Alex. I liked him ALOT, he was my first kiss! So obviously, you keep thinking about that moment that you first kissed someone, also he was my first true boyfriend. I was about fourteen, or about thirteen. at that time. I am almost sixteen now. I constantly think about Alex. We broke up because at my young age, i didn't know much about relationships then. Making it the fact that he was my first true boyfriend. We would talk on the phone EVERY night for HOURS. When i say hours, i mean HOURS. about 4 or 5 hours. then i would have to wake up for school about 3 hours after we hung up. i didn't care, i loved him. I was texting him about 7 months ago, He said he missed me so much and that he thinks his current girlfriend is a bitch [sorry for the bad language!]. And that he also thought about me constantly, and kinda wanted to dump his girlfriend for me. I was so happy that i was in tears. After that, i got a boyfriend about a week or so later. He got really mad because he hated the guys. I dated that boy for about six months. Then we broke up because he cheated on me, but thats a different story. I texted alex about.. a few days ago, he is still with his girlfriend, having family problems, etc. Now that he knows my number, he texts me all the time. But his girlfriend effing hates me. She wants me to die. So he has to go behind her back and talk to me. I told him how i really felt, that i was in love with him, and that i thought about him all the time. And that i wanted him back, and that i was really sorry for not being the best girlfriend. but since he has a girlfriend he couldn't really say anything to that. He just said "sam would fucking kill me if she saw that i was talking to you, i don't want to risk it". But i said dont even put me in your contacts, your under meghan in my phone, no one will find anything out. I offered for alex to come over because i haven't seen him in about 2 years now. He was scared i was gunna try something, but i promised him i wouldn't. But i wouldn't do that to him, i know how cheating feels! He can drive, hes turning 17 in may. I'm turning 16 in December. I really love this boy, so much. I think about him all the time, I cry for him, I listen to "lips of an angel" [that was our song] every night. I look at his myspace constantly [his girlfriend blocked me on facebook] Last night, he brought up our past relationship, saying why couldn't i ever hang out or why didn't we ever do anything? i said because i was young, i didnt understand a relationship. But the thing is, his girlfriend is ruining him, she smokes, she got him into smoking, and drinking and driving. I really want them to end their relationship. The right thing to do here, is just talk to him. He obviously knows how much you care about him and how much you miss him. But just let him know how much he has changed since he has been dating her and that it is definitely not healthy for him.

I know how hard it is for you, but by dating the other guy, didn't help the situation much either. Why would you do that if you had just starting talking to him again?

If 'Alex' really cares about his girlfriend, then don't ruin that for him. If he's happy, you should be happy even though it is killing you inside. Just be there for him whenever he needs to talk and let him know you're not going to be lead on.

It sounds like ya'll would be good for eachother, but you should try and make him realize it. I hope everything works out!

So I've known this guy for 2 years, And he started to have a hatred for me, because I was kind of a whore in 8th grade when he was in 10th grade. I went out with a lot of people. And he still didn't like me till I got into high school, and then finally I started to date one of his good friends and he still talked shit about me and didn't like me, and didn't like what I stood for and all that shit. He said I was annoying and didn't like me.

So this happened, : I always was interested in him from the first time I met him, I thought he was just amazing. So randomly this summer, a couple days ago, I'm going to be a junior and he's already graduated. I got his number from a friend and texted him randomly and told him I'm "Natasha" even though my name is Jacky. And he didn't even know that. I sent him pictures of me over texts and he said I was cute as hell and stuff like that, and he didn't know it was me Jacky. He thought I was Natasha. So we started talking on the phone and texting a lot, and getting to know each other a bit better. And he says he's interested in me and so am I.

So we hang out this one day at midnight. I come to his house and he's all smiling and shit when he sees me. We get in his friends car and we're sitting in the back talking and shit, and we get really high. It was a lot of fun and he starts making out with me and we're driving around. He still doesn't know I'm Jacky, the girl he hates, he thinks I'm Natasha. So we cruise around town, and then we get back to his house.

We have sex. It was really amazing. We were so high and it was so good and he was so amazing. He still thinks I'm Natasha. But I'm not. I told him I'm Natasha because I thought if I told him who I really was, he'd reject me. So I'm playing this little game with him, it might not be mature, but it's actually kind of smart.

So later on, he finds out from a friend that I'm Jacky. And he says that he knew I was. And now I don't know what's going on, if he's interested in me still or what's going on. I'm really confused, and I don't know what to do, or if I should talk to him or not. I still really like him and I want to date him. What should I do? What's going on? Please help me.

Well, if he knew you were really 'Jacky' all along and went along with it, then he probably liked you the whole time. Sometimes guys express their feelings in odd ways and by him teasing you and saying he didn't like you, probably just meant he did the whole time.

First things first, ask him straight up if he's still into you. Let him know that you have always liked him and wanted to get close to him, but you knew he hated you. Therefore, you chose a fake name.

If you meant as much to him as he means to you, then he will tell you right then and there.
