I only really have two guy friends.. one is my boyfriend.
My boyfriend would dump me if I tried to have sex with him -- which, since I believe in abstinence, I wouldn't do -- but you get the idea. He appreciates it that I don't want to have sex, and I appreciate it that he doesn't want to either. [Doesn't want to = until after marriage]
My best friend is also a guy. Hahah... There's no way that he'd even consider having sex with his girlfriend. He's fourteen and not allowed to think about having a girlfriend. Maybe when he's sixteen he'll get the girl, but then he might be afraid to do anything more than hold her hand / hug her. Which is perfect.
There's a guy who will suit your needs.

If you get SBC Yahoo! DSL, you will simply have to go to http://www.aim.com/ and download AIM and signin with your current ScreenName. I have Bellsouth Fast Access DSL and use AIM... several of my friends have Bellsouth too, and use AIM, but my grandfather has a dial-up service (I forgot which one.. but it's not AOL) and I can use AIM down there. Your dad will only have to pay for SBC Yahoo! DSL.

Yes, you can. Contrary to what the other people said...
You have to have a different program though. The one I reccomend is Gaim, though there are others.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be fit and healthy, in fact, it's good to want to be fit and healthy - no matter what your sexual orientation or gender or age or height and weight is.

Ok well I just gauged my ears, theyre 18s I guess? That is what the person said. So I was wondering what that meant? I don't understand the differnce. And also, why are they so small?! Normally they are huge and when I told the guy I wanted to gauge my ears he gave me these. Somebody help I am really confused.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question... but I'll go for it anyway.
When you get your ears pierced (normal earrings that you can buy... anywhere) they're 18 gauge.
When you want to get larger, you should get a pair of sixteen gauge earrings. Then fourteen, etc. I'm not sure really the difference in the width, probably no more than a milimeter or two, but that's a lot for a hole in your body...

i was just wondering what people think of glasses. do you find them nerdy or attractive? i have to wear glasses fullo time and i am wondering if contacts are the way to go or should i wear glasses but i dont want to seem like a four eyes freak. any inputs are appreciated. (link)

Glasses rock.
Although I don't personally wear them... I have a sister who does. She's worn glasses since she was two years old. She is now nine, and has contacts. She regurally switches between glasses and contacts; she doesn't really have a favorite.
Some people look really good in glasses. There's a guy in my homeschool group who bought glasses, popped the lenses out, and just wore the frames. But the glasses looked really good on him.
I did the same thing; popped the lenses out of some glasses, and wore them to my church's Fall Festival.
It's all up to you. If you think you look "nerdy" in glasses, try contacts. But contacts have a tendency to get expensive, after a while, and they can irriate your eyes. You can't wear them if you have an eye infection, and they make your eyes hurt if you're tired. So, if you choose to go with contacts, keep your glasses on hand.

This is obviously up to the parent / guardian.
I know girls who were allowed to begin dating at eleven; but I feel this is much too young.
I was allowed to have my first boyfriend when I was almost fourteen. It was two months and one day until my fourteenth birthday when my current boyfriend and I were given permission to begin a relationship.
If you are a concerned parent; I applaud you. Too many parents do not care about their children's "love lifes" and the child gets knocked up after a few months of unrestricted "love."
If you are a concerned brother / sister / kid, I applaud you for taking control [or being concerned] about something as important as this.
It really depends on the child's maturity level, his/her background of dependancy, emotional security, and how well s/he can say No.

Sure, sure, call me prude. That's ok. I don't care... because the word prude comes from the word prudence, which is something to be admired in women.
You would do well to have prudence.

Having prudence doesn't mean that you can't kiss. It simply means having tact and grace in practical situations. You don't have prudence if you're rushing through everything, staying up all night studying for a test you've had weeks to prepare for, having sex with your boy-/girlfriend of three weeks, etc.
I know someone who didn't get her first kiss until she was eighteen. You have plenty of time.
Like you said, you want it to be spectacular.

Don't worry about it.
It'll come in due time. Rushing it is only worse.

Well...
If you really think that a relationship with your best friend will mess up your obviously good friendship... then maybe you should wait a while before talking to him about it.
My boyfriend [of 9 1/2 months] was my best friend before we started going out. I realize, of course, that sometimes it doesn't work out the way we want it to... but obviously you get along well with him. He's your best friend!
Ask him... if he likes someone. If he says "No..." or says Yes, but won't tell you who, then... there's a possibility that he's afraid to say something.
I loved my boyfriend before [WAY before] he even knew I liked him. And though you might be skeptical, I know what love is. And I loved him. I loved him enough to sacrifice my own feelings and put his first.... but that's another story for another time.
If you're afraid that it'll mess up your friendship; then wait. See if your attraction lasts for a set amount of time [two months.. six months.. whatever seems right for you].
You could tell him that you're attracted to him, but don't want to pursue a relationship outside of friendship because you don't want to lose his friendship.
You could... ask him out and hope for the best. This, of course, is not what I would do. Some guys don't like girls who make that much of a first move... some do... but doing something like that gives you a great chance of being hurt, rejected, and losing your best friend.
My suggestions...
- Think. Hard. A lot. Think about what you feel for him, and if you're ready to pursue a relationship, and if you could see yourself with him five years from now.
- Wait. At least a little while.
- Observe. Watch him carefully, notice his faults and strong points. Write these down, and think about them.
- Question. Ask who he likes... if he likes anyone... what he thinks about you... what he likes about you [as a friend]... what he thinks his strongest charactaristic is, and what he thinks his weakest charactaristic is.
And if you're sure you want this, then tell him that you like him as more than a friend, then go from there.

My dad said to delete the quarantines... That's what he told me, and that's what he does. Both of our computers are fine. We both use Ad-Aware and Spy Bot : Search and Destroy. I think deleting would be fine.

Animals.
I mean cute, cuddly animals. Not something that's... well, the girls will think is "icky."
Here's my ideas.
A brother and a sister get a puppy for their birthday [or just for the heck of it]. They name the puppy -----. They play with the puppy... blah, blah, blah. The kids take the puppy to the park.. the puppy gets lost.. kids search all over for the puppy. Finally they find the puppy with some puppy-dog friends.
Yes, it sounds lame... but little kids will love it.
A world about animals who go to school. Ya know, kittens, puppys, frogs, hedgehogs etc. going to school.
A little boy [or... girl, I guess] is at his uncle's house and gets to ride on a horse; and finds a lamb and gets the lamb home to its mom.
Basically, anything that involves a young child, pictures, and cute animals will work fine.

Well... ironically, the docs say to stay away from caffine - sodas, sports drinks, coffee etc., but Midol has caffine in it. What's up with that?
Pills : Aleve, Ibuprofen, Tylenol. I've never used Midol or Pamprin...
Take a hot bath.
Place a heating pad on the cramping area.
Walk for fifteen minutes or so.
Ride a horse [if you can]. This is my favorite. Not only because I love to ride, and love horses, it really helps the cramps.
Basically, any exercise will help the cramps go away. Swimming is good, but I understand that right now - in the winter - it's probably hard to go swimming... ;-)
Eat warm foods. Not spicy - that doesn't help me, only makes it worse - but warm rice, soup, etc. Fruits and veggies [all the time, of course, but especially now]. Lots and lots and lots of water.
It helps me to sleep either without a pillow or on the floor.

It's different for different people.
If I blow-dry my hair, it takes 45 minutes, and it's super, super frizzy and harder to straighten.
To me, it's easier to take a shower earlier in the day (like 6:30PM, 7:00PM-ish) and let my hair dry naturally then straighten it around 10:00 PM; or take a shower whenever and get up an hour earlier and straighten my hair in the morning.
I have a guy friend though who blow-dries his hair; and it makes his look nice. Of course... his doesn't need to be straightened.
I have a female friend who blow-dries her hair and it is straighter and less poofy.
It's the exact opposite for me...
It just depends on your hair. Experiment and see which works best for you.

That wasn't something intended to hurt your feelings. It's simply saying that girls who are too thin - which you're not - are annoying sometimes because they starve themselves, then all the boys like them.
I'm even smaller than you. I have a 20-inch waist and I have to put darts in my 00 pants and wear a belt to make them fit. But I'm also reallyyyyyy short. I'm barely 5'0'' tall; so being 87 pounds won't hurt me at all.
But I know girls [personally.. very well, in fact.. even related to some] who are 5'4'' or 5'5'' and weigh 85 pounds. That's hugely underweight. But the boys love them because they're so tiny and thin. Those girls have boys hanging at their legs. And to prove my point, one girl that I'm related to, she's 5'5'' and weighs 88 pounds. Her boyfriend hugged her and broke two of her ribs. He wasn't a big kid either; he was really small.
Girls who are small are not "empty shells." But the guys who only look at girls who are tiny, and never give curvy girls a chance.... well, they think like empty shells.

I think to be an "Experienced Columnist" you must've answered over 100 questions, and have a higher rating (probably 4.3+). I really don't know for sure, it's something the site automatically calculates for itself, probably. I read through the FAQ, and there's nothing about it. If the limit is 100 questions, though, I think that's too few. You can answer 100 questions in three days....

That depends...
It depends on how wisely you spend your money, what kind of income you have, where you live, what expenses you have, if you have a family to provide for etc.
If you're looking for a more sound financial position; try eliminating the things you don't need. Instead of eating out, make a sandwich. Instaead of shopping for $50 jeans, go to Wal-Mart or the Thrift store. If you have a family, and kids, don't jump to buy them every new toy that they yearn for. Don't waste money on silly things that aren't needed.
I guess I could answer more easily if you gave more information...
