Why is it that because I have a 24-inch waist and wear 00 pants, that I'm a stick with a drawn-on face? I know that this is a dumb question, but I was reading the responses to a question, one of the users used that phrase as if really thin people are just an empty shell and that hurt my feelings...

That wasn't something intended to hurt your feelings. It's simply saying that girls who are too thin - which you're not - are annoying sometimes because they starve themselves, then all the boys like them.
I'm even smaller than you. I have a 20-inch waist and I have to put darts in my 00 pants and wear a belt to make them fit. But I'm also reallyyyyyy short. I'm barely 5'0'' tall; so being 87 pounds won't hurt me at all.
But I know girls [personally.. very well, in fact.. even related to some] who are 5'4'' or 5'5'' and weigh 85 pounds. That's hugely underweight. But the boys love them because they're so tiny and thin. Those girls have boys hanging at their legs. And to prove my point, one girl that I'm related to, she's 5'5'' and weighs 88 pounds. Her boyfriend hugged her and broke two of her ribs. He wasn't a big kid either; he was really small.
Girls who are small are not "empty shells." But the guys who only look at girls who are tiny, and never give curvy girls a chance.... well, they think like empty shells.

Look some people just get carried away. It's ok if your skinny, as long as your naturally that way, and aren't doing harmful things to yourself to get that way. Just like I think it's ok to be fat, everybody's beautiful in their own way. I think it's horrible that "fat" people are told that you need to be a size 4 to look beautiful, and I also think it's horrible that "skinny" people are either told to keep getting smaller, or to gain weight. It's crazy, strangers expecting us to look one way or another. We're human beings, and we're beautiful no matter what size we are, keep that in mind. People that hate on skinny people are caught up on this state of mind that society has build that says we have to be super skinny, and they obviously aren't. So they bad mouth them because they can't get that small. It's nonsense, and this is coming from an overweight person who is happy with the way they look.
Keep doing your thing girl, don't worry about anybody else. :)

Dude, you are beautiful don't listen to fat mean people, and guess what I am fat so listem to me. I really don't know what people's problems are, its weird guys either like skinny girls or fat girls, so all the girls start to fight on who got the guys, if that made sense. Sorry for their stupid comments. I am fat and if someone calls me fat, I just tell them, thanks I knew that, its no big deal because I am obviously fat, no big deal, but when people pick on skinny people its just dumb they can't help it, they are naturally like that like you, you are not a stick with a drawn on face, don't listen to people. Obviously that person thinks it's all the skinny people's fault. He/she thinks that we're putting our skinny weight into chubby girls faces. It's not our problem. And it's not their problem that they are chubby either. They aren't the only ones that have problems too.That guy has problems blaming people just because they are a different size then other people. I'm not saying im super skinny. I'm 5'2 , 15 years old, and weigh 105. I guess i'm average. But I have a friend named Katie & she's diabetic & SUPER SUPER skinny i swear, she's like a "stick". She doesn't like being THAT skinny, but these dickwads at our school have to tease her about how skinny she is & that if you trip her she'll break into pieces. But she doesn't take shit from them. Because she's happy with the way she looks sometimes. Shes an amazing person & people think she's anorexic. And that pisses me off when people can't see past the apperance.
What i can tell you is that you can't take shit from people like that. They have no conceince & just like making fun of people just because they don't look like that. They're bastards & need to stop playing with themselves.
