ok i just bought Curling shampoo and i think most of you have seen the commercials...and well it said leave like 5 min and stuff like that so i followed all the direction but still i have no curls in my hair. is it just my hair or is the product just plain sucks?
and is there product that works? to curl my hair. other than perms and curling irons and hair rollers. i mean like curling hair spray ?? do they really work??
Most curling shampoos, hairsprays, etc. are for use to make it easier and healthier to curl your hair, not to actual have the product curl it for you. You still need to use an iron, curlers or rollers.

Sometimes the paypal e-mails don't get to the admin for some reason. If it's been over 48 hours then you need to click on the "Make Suggestions" link and ask her to activate your account. Please make sure that she has received the payment first by logging into your paypal account and check your account summary.
If it still hasn't activated in 24 hours, then there's a good chance that she is out of town for the weekend and that it will activated on Monday. Personally, I had to send her a not to activate my account a couple of days ago after two days of waiting and she immediately activated it. But like MFS said, she could be out of town and you'll have to wait until Monday.

I have a 1990 Ford Probe 4 cyl. non-turbo w\Mazda 2.2 motor. Help!!! I just paid $900.00 for valves and head job. After getting the car out of the shop it has no power (bogs and has no get up and go at all). It uses an extreme amount of fuel and it has a strong fuel smell as well as back fires. It drives like this for the most part but once in awhile it will kick in long enough ( a few short miles) to make you think it may be running better then, Wham! It goes right back to it's no power, cutting out, and runs like ---- self. Can you please point me in a direction I can maybe get this problem fixed. Being a single mother of 2 I can't continue this game of nickle and diming me to death, this car has broke me yet I can't afford to buy a different one. Please, any advise appriatiated.

It seriously sounds like the shop that you took your car to is responsible for these problems, whether they are directly or indirectly, especially with the work they did. If I was in your shoes I'd take the car back to the place where you had it serviced and yell like mad. That is if it is still fairly recent.
If you waited months from the service date, there's the possibility of the service station refusing to fix the problem and/or charging you to get the problem fixed.

Right now, there is thunder and lightning outside and my dog is freaking out. He is a 2 year old Shih-tzu. I'm trying to calm him down by talking to him and cuddling him but he just keeps shaking and panting and crying. He is shaking so bad it's making this hard to type. Does anyone know of a good way to calm my dog down a bit more? I feel so bad that I can't do anything else for him. =(
I have the same problem with my chihuahua. I find that a room that is very quiet, like a basement room or middle room with no windows, is somewhat helpful. Cuddle the sweet baby up in a blanket, or if he doesn't like that, throw it over your head and make a tent for the both of you. Then all you can do is hold him, pet him, talk to him, try to take his mind off of it and hope the storm passes quickly.
And I know you feel stressed when this happens, try to be as calm as possible because the little guy will pick up on it and become more agitated.

yeah i went to our softball/baseball fields for the WHOLE day today and i have the worst fricken sunburn on my most sensitive shoulder right now and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! it hurts WICKED bad! is there anything else to put on it besides aloe or burn cream because that isnt doin much right now! There's hundreds of things that you can do for a sunburn. But to relieve the pain of a really bad burn I find that rubbing apple cider vinegar over the affected area relieves the sting and burning sensations. Make sure to keep it well moisturized using actual aloe vera and/or vitamin E ointment. And as DangerNerd suggested Noxema works wonders as well. Make sure that when bathing that you use lukewarm or cool water, hot baths or showers and make the burn worse.

ok well i missed up my toe nail(the big one) about 3 months ago and about 3 weeks ago the nail fell of and now it has grown half way. is there a way i can make it grow out more before graduation. i am going to get it a pedicare but i dont know if i can put a fake nail on it or not. can u plz me???
I don't know if they do faux nails on toes, but it would be worth asking about at the spa or salon that you are using. My best advice would be to keep it well moisturized. Water is the best way to get your nail to grow back faster. Try soaking it for a half an hour each day and then keep them from drying out too much by using lotion. Also, keep your body well hydrated and be sure that your diet is rich in Vitamins A, B-Complex, C, D, E and iron, calcium, zinc, sulfur, and the essential fatty acids.
The truth of the matter is: a fingernail takes six months to grow completely back and a toenail takes a full year. But I hope that you can find a quick solution for your graduation.

Even though you may be apart for the summer, is there a possibility of you writing each other? I would suggest sending letters to each other either by snail-mail (U.S. Postal Service) or even e-mail. Letters and cards are a great way to let him know that you are thinking about him and letting him know you still care. Another great way to keep in touch is by Instant Messaging if that is at all possible.

This guy who's friends with my ex really likes me. I told him I just think of him as a friend. He calls all the damn time and whenever i do pick up, he tells me, "Hey i was going to come over to your house today." Practically inviting himself over...i thought...wow..so i have no say in it at all
I told him i was stepping out and hung up.
But later on he called 8 times and the next day he showed up at my house, looking for me (so my brother tells me) while i wasn't home.
This has been going on for a week now.
The constant calling and coming over to see me and leaving me messages on the machine about wanting to "spend time with me" and "date me"
IT NEVER ENDS!!! I was wondering what anyone else thinks i can do. Anything that means he'll go away!!!
Tell him straight out that you don't like him that way and that you're not interested in dating him. Don't worry about his feelings because you need to get the point across. Worse case scenario tell your parents what's going on and see what they might suggest.
Personally, I'd tell him: "Look, you're a nice guy but I just got out a relationship and I'm not interested in dating right now. And even if I was looking to date I wouldn't even consider you because of the things you have been doing lately. (list the calling, the showing up at your house, etc.)"
It's really creepy and my suggestion, if it gets worse, talk to your local law enforcement and see what kind of stalker laws there are in your state and how to go about using those laws to your advantage.

Just be upfront and honest about it. Tell him since summer is coming up and that you won't be seeing him that you think a break would be in order and not because you dont like him anymore. Explain that you want to remain friends and that when school starts back up you will re-evalute your feelings.

It will not be permanently blonde. Worse case scenario is that the temp color won't fade or wash after three months and you have to grow your hair out to it's natural color. The only problem I see you having is getting blonde being a brunette. Dark hair doesn't take a lighter color well. If I was in your shoes I'd have it done professionally, that way they can answer any questions you may have and there's no chance of you, a family member or friend messing your hair by using a boxed color, especially if this is your first time coloring.

I met my husband through a personal ad, not online but it is similar to your situation. All you can do is be safe and cautious about it. Don't believe anything the guy tells you until you meet him face to face and really get to know him. When meeting him for the first time make sure it's in a public place and preferrably with a friend present.
As far as your friends go... I certainly wouldn't keep him a secret, but I wouldn't tell them anything about it until I know for certain that there's a true relationship there, for example after you've actually met and realized that he's real and that the relationship might work. You might have a different relationship when you actually meet then the one online. If your friends are true and they see that you have taken precautions when meeting this fellow then they might understand and come to accept the fact that you met online. I know that they have these concerns because the internet CAN be a scary place. Besides, if they don't come to terms after you've been dating this guy for awhile, then it shouldn't really matter what they think as long as you're happy and safe.
My personal opinion on online dating: be cautious, be safe, know what you are doing at all times, and never expect things to be real until after you've met the person in real life and get to know them.

There's really nothing that you can do, other than to encourage your friend to seek out help. It's her choice that she isn't talking to anyone about it. I will be a senior now in highschool and I have no clue what I want to go to college for. Its summer and I dont have a job, all my friends and my boyfriend have summer jobs. I don't want to be stuck at home all summer bored to death. I have been looking for a job but my mom is so picky she wont let me have a job at a fast food restuarant and some other places. How can I figure out what I want to with my summer and my life??
It's normal to not know what you want to be. I'm 30 and still not sure. *wink* But as far as summer jobs go, that your mom might approve of, there's retail (Sears, Kmart, Home Depot, etc.), temp agencies (Manpower, Adecco, etc.), data-entry/file clerk in a small office or seasonally busy big office, lifeguarding at a local pool, bagging at a grocery store, etc. You don't HAVE to work at a fast food joint.
As for other options to what to do with your summer: take a class at your community center or community college (it's cheap, just make sure you take something you would enjoy), take up a couple of hobbies, hang with your friends when they aren't working, read a lot, etc.
All I can do is make suggestions, the rest is up to you. You either have the motivation to take control and do things that you enjoy, if anything at all. Try making a list of the things you would like to do or places you would like to work and go from there.

I think you shouldn't worry about it. Most really good relationships start off as really good friendships. You don't have to question what kind of love you have for the boy, anykind of love is what matters. Relationships are constantly in a state of flux, they can change over night or stay the same forever. You never can tell. Just be yourself around him and go on being the same person to him. If it's meant to be more, it will be.
And even if he does like you in that way, if I was in your shoes, I'd wait for him to come out and say it to you, at least until you're sure of your feelings towards gim. Boys and men look at relationships differently than women do and it's possible that he's just not ready to take that kind of step.

I love the intimacy of sharing a bed with my partner, but there's no denying that we get on each others nerves. I'm a reasonably light sleeper, and he snores. I also toss and turn quite a lot and take a while to get to sleep, whereas he seems to be a sleep (and snoring, keeping me awake!) within minutes.
Are we both doomed to a life of broken sleep, or is there a solution? Any suggestion on how to get him to stop snoring or to help me get to sleep more quickly would be appreciated.
I have somewhat of the same problem, except it's the mattress and my partner tends to thrash in his sleep. If I go to be before him I usually have no problems, but since you are a light sleeper you might be woken when your partner gets into bed let alone when he gets to sleep.
There are some very good replies so far and worth looking into: a sleep study for both of you would be beneficial, breathe-right strips for him, getting to sleep before he does and the worse case scenario of sleeping in separate rooms.
You can also try things to make yourself more calm and relaxed before going to bed as well: chamomile tea, warm glass of milk, a warm lavender bath and, as jbdreamer suggested, a sleep mask or pillow filled with soothing, calming herbs.

What is the best thing to use to get grease off clothes? My boyfriend works in the oilfield and always works on cars and gets grease all over so what is the best thing to use to get the grease off??
With any kind of grease/oil stain I use dish soap. Dish soap is formulated to remove grease and oils. Pretreat the fabric with the dish detergent and then wash normally.
