bl0ndiex3you answered Thursday June 2 2005, 3:50 pm: well i highlighted my hair and it turned out pretty good. just be careful with wut product you choose to use. look for ones that that dont say permanent on them and when you do color your hair, make sure you dont color your eyebrows too. learned that from experience. herbal essance works good and smells good too and will eventually wash out like within 6 weeks. good luck [ bl0ndiex3you's advice column | Ask bl0ndiex3you A Question ]
x_mystery answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 9:26 pm: Use Loreal Color Pulse. It washes out in about 10 washes. It works pretty good! I have darkish blonde/brownish hair and dyed it with some shade of red, and it worked great! Just beware, it may leave your hair slightly tinted or it may not work since you are trying to dye darker hair to lighter with a temporary dye that doesn't contain bleach. ♥ [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
ballerina04 answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 4:40 pm: You could try Loreal Color Pulse. I tried it once, but it didn't work very well for me. If your hair is highlighted, I wouldn't suggest doing it. I dyed mine a long time ago a more blonde color, and when I tried the Color Pulse to dye it light brown, only the blonde parts really got dyed, and they turned orange-y. Try it for the summer and see how it works out for you. It'll wash out in a week; it's worth a shot. [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
vermillion26 answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 4:39 pm: you cant really use blonde dye over brunette hair, you wont be able to see it. i bleach my hair when it needs to be blonde. the best/only (i think) way to go blonde is to strip the colour. you might want to try putting leamon juice in your hair and then sittting out in the sun, it will be less damaging to your hair and your bank account. also, if you really dont like it you can always dye it back to your original colour. you might want to try a blonde wig to see what it looks like on you first.

HeathaAa answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 4:14 pm: buy loreal color pulse! it comes out after like a week of washing. if you like it then you can dye it but make sure you use a special shampoo for dyed blonde hair atleast once a month so that it doesnt turn orange or green! other then the loereal color pulse, i dont know what you could use that wont make it permanent but if you dye it permanent for the summer you could always dye it back to your original color when summer is over! KYLiECAL answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 4:08 pm: Personally Im not too familiar with dying hair. I have really blonde hair so its kind of hard to get color to stay in it.. not to mention look descent. Alot of brunettes think they would look better as blondes.. but it is hard to temporarily dye you hair lighter since it is basically bleaching the color out of your hair. Try buying 'sun-in' from the store.. its super cheap.. and can lighter your hair up pretty quick. Its a fairly natural way of lightening your hair and it doesnt dry it out as much! Make sure your ready for the change, because its not healthy to keep changing the color in your hair. Good luck.. im sure whatever you choose you will look gorgeous!!
Michele answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 3:53 pm: One thing I do know. You should avoid pools with chlorine in them, (and they all use chlorine) because that will can turn dyed blond hair green, and ruin it. Ask a hair dresser!
xXxpinky615xXx answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 3:50 pm: If you go to any place where they'd sell hair dye, they sell semi-permanent hair dye. Find what color you want and you can dye it. It lasts between 8-10 shampoos meaning after you wash your hair 8-10 times it should all be gone. I would suggest using color pulse. It's semi permanent and it gives you great color. And it won't be permanently blonde. But you have to make sure on the box it says SEMI PERMANENT or else you'll be blonde until you dye your hair again. Draak answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 3:49 pm: It will not be permanently blonde. Worse case scenario is that the temp color won't fade or wash after three months and you have to grow your hair out to it's natural color. The only problem I see you having is getting blonde being a brunette. Dark hair doesn't take a lighter color well. If I was in your shoes I'd have it done professionally, that way they can answer any questions you may have and there's no chance of you, a family member or friend messing your hair by using a boxed color, especially if this is your first time coloring.
