what should i do?
My friend told me today that she is pregnant because she was raped. she won't talk to the police or anything and her mother doesn't know. what should i do?

well, not to be disrespectful to her or anything- but depending on how old you are, it COULD be a joke. i remember girls telling each other they wer pregnant all the time in school. but at the same time, if she is pregnant, theres no joking about it. its a serious matter- especially if she was raped. i gues the only thing you can do is wait it out and see. you'll never really know for sure unless you wait. get back to me on this one. hope i helped. lamwithakause@yahoo.com

talk to her...tell her that she needs to tell someone about it that can help her..thats where you come in...if she won't tell the polive or her mom about it...thn you have to tell her that you will talk to her mom and the police about it if she doesn't do anything...cause she can get in a lot of trouble if she doesn't do anything soon...hope i helped

well that is a VERY big deal. shes probably scared that shes gonna get in trouble if she does tell but thats wut she shuld do. so talk to her and if she just doesnt wanna say a word, maybe you shuld for her. usually you dont wanna get involved but if she wont let people know about it, somebody has to tell.

I think that you should go ahead & tell the police so that this particular person who did this will go to jail.

you have to tell somebody. her mom is going to find out sooner or later that she's pregrant. you can talk to somebody at school or let her talk to you. it might make her feel better.you have to do the right thing if you are a good friend.

As much as she wants it to remain secret, you simply can not. I mean, the mom is going to find out SOONER OR LATER that she's pregnant. The Mom will want to know who it was.. and why bother lying to protect some criminal. As a friend, you need to encourage her to do the right thing.

Your friend shouldn't keep something like that a secret, and if she does, the only thing you can do to help is to tell someone you trust.

There's really nothing that you can do, other than to encourage your friend to seek out help. It's her choice that she isn't talking to anyone about it. Let her make her own choices and be supportive of her the best way you know how, listen to her problems and talk to her about getting help. Other than that it's all on her shoulders.

ok everyone is going to find out anyway. she was raped, and that's a crime, and the police need to find the rapist. she can't just let him get away like that! she needs to tell SOMEBODY...like her mom or the police. they will find out sooner or later, and by then the rapist might have run away! your friend is pregnant, and they could do something about the baby, such as give it to another home since teens are not suitable to take care of babies (hello..school and all that? you really think they have TIME to??). you have to get her to tell someone. don't tell anyone yourself just yet. if she refuses, you will have to tell someone. she might be angry at you at first, but later she will forgive you because you did the right thing. good luck!! :)
